Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini merupakan upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu dan kompetensi guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia sebagai wujud profesionalitas guru. Selain itu, situasi pembelajaran saat ini masih dalam proses adaptasi dari daring ke luring, sehingga guru membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang beragam, serta dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran bauran dan diakses menggunakan smartphone. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia tingkat SMA dan SMP di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Adapun bentuk kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Pada kegiatan sosialiasi, guru diberikan informasi dan bentuk pengaplikasian learningapps sebagai media pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Pada kegiatan pelatihan, guru dilatih dan dibimbing secara bertahap untuk membuat media pembelajaran menggunakan learningapps sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang diajarkan. Dari kegiatan ini, ada 24 guru SMP dan SMA yang telah mempublikasi media pembelajaran tentang materi Bahasa Indonesia di https://learningapps.org/. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini, guru dapat membuat media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan karakteristik peserta didiknya sehingga tujuan pembelajaran tercapai, serta pembelajaran menjadi lebih menyenangkan, meningkatkan minat dan motivasi peserta didik terhadap mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of code-mixing in the interaction of buying and selling at the Bintang Kejora Jaya Restaurant, as well as the factors causing the mixing of code codes in the exchange of buying and selling at the Bintang Kejora Jaya Restaurant. This type of research is qualitative research through a case study approach. Data collection techniques use listening, tapping, note-taking, and recording techniques. Data analysis techniques use descriptive methods. From the results of these findings, it was identified that there were findings of code mixing in the form of words, phrases, clauses, and word loops. Factors causing code-mixing include linguistic elements such as low word frequency, Pernicious humanity, Oversight, and End (purpose and goal).

Abstract

The use of the storytelling method in learning can motivate and provide opportunities to express thoughts and opinions in oral form when practicing retelling. This study aims to describe the ability to speak through the method of storytelling in the text of the saga text of class X Tiket SMK 1 Palembang. The results of this study indicate that the indicators for assessing speaking ability in class X TJKT 1 SMK 1 Palembang students include the sentence structure indicator getting the highest score with a percentage of 20%. Indicators of low ability assessment on the speaking ability of class X TJKT 1 students are performance indicators. The distribution of speaking ability found in the performance appraisal indicator is 7%. The pronunciation indicator is 18%, the paralanguage indicator is 19%, and the story content indicator is 17%. The main factor causing the inability to speak in class X TJKT 1 students at SMK Negeri 1 Palembang is a lack of confidence. Students who lack confidence when carrying out a speaking ability test will look nervous, uneasy, anxious, giving rise to flat expressions or not in accordance with the story being told. Confidence in learning speaking skills includes speaking attitudes and courage.

Abstract

This This community service activity was carried out as an effort by the Indonesian Language Education study program to increase student retention of the story material by utilizing interactive learning media based on Wordwall. This is because one of the factors that encourages student success in absorbing the knowledge delivered is the learning media used. Through this wordwall-based learning media, it is hoped that students will find it easier to remember and understand important elements in the story material, and this media creates a more interesting learning atmosphere, students measure their understanding in real time through educational game quizzes.

Abstract

The correct writing of official letters in accordance with the rules is an important element in official communication within government agencies. However, various writing errors that can disrupt understanding and negatively impact the agency's image are often encountered. This study aims to identify and analyze the writing errors that occur in official letters at the Communication and Information Office of South Sumatra Province. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach, where data collection is obtained through observation and documentation. The results of the study indicate that common writing errors include mistakes in grammar, spelling, and the use of inappropriate terms. Additionally, a lack of understanding regarding the rules of writing official letters among employees is also one of the contributing factors. It is hoped that this research can provide recommendations to improve the quality of official letter writing through training and socialization regarding proper writing rules, so that official communication in the Communication and Information Office of South Sumatra Province can be conducted more effectively and professionally. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the study of language variations used in buying and selling interactions at Lemabang Morning Market. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis to identify language variations in buying and selling interactions. The results showed that there were significant language variations in buying and selling interactions at the Lemabang Morning Market. The most dominant language variations are language variations in terms of speakers. This discovery provides insight into the complexity of language in the context of traditional markets and can form the basis for efforts to preserve and develop language in this community.
