Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini merupakan upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu dan kompetensi guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia sebagai wujud profesionalitas guru. Selain itu, situasi pembelajaran saat ini masih dalam proses adaptasi dari daring ke luring, sehingga guru membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang beragam, serta dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran bauran dan diakses menggunakan smartphone. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia tingkat SMA dan SMP di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Adapun bentuk kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Pada kegiatan sosialiasi, guru diberikan informasi dan bentuk pengaplikasian learningapps sebagai media pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Pada kegiatan pelatihan, guru dilatih dan dibimbing secara bertahap untuk membuat media pembelajaran menggunakan learningapps sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang diajarkan. Dari kegiatan ini, ada 24 guru SMP dan SMA yang telah mempublikasi media pembelajaran tentang materi Bahasa Indonesia di https://learningapps.org/. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini, guru dapat membuat media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan materi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan karakteristik peserta didiknya sehingga tujuan pembelajaran tercapai, serta pembelajaran menjadi lebih menyenangkan, meningkatkan minat dan motivasi peserta didik terhadap mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to look at the design and implementation of an innovative learning media for high school (SMA/SMK) and special needs (SLB) teachers in South Sumatra, with a focus on the integration of Augmented Reality (AR) and the growing notion of the Metaverse. Traditional teaching methods are developing to accommodate the different requirements of students as technology advances, and this project tries to bridge the gap by offering cutting-edge technologies to instructors. The activity method used is a combination of lectures and workshops. The study digs into the creation of a learning media platform that uses augmented reality and the Metaverse to improve teaching tactics and engage students in a more immersive and interactive learning environment. Teachers can develop dynamic classes that go beyond traditional classroom experiences by mixing various tools, fostering a deeper grasp of complicated subjects. The influence of this augmented learning strategy on student engagement, information retention, and overall educational outcomes is discussed in the essay. Furthermore, it explores the obstacles and opportunities involved with integrating AR and the Metaverse into the South Sumatra educational scene, providing insights for educators, policymakers, and stakeholders striving to improve educational quality through technology innovation. This study adds to the continuing discussion about the transition of education in the digital era, with a focus on the local context of South Sumatra. The results obtained are increased understanding among teachers regarding the use of AR and Metaverse in learning at the SMA/SMK/SLB level.

Abstract

The problems raised in this research discuss the forms of moral values ​​contained in the novel Rasina by Iksaka Banu.morals are the teaching of good and bad actions and behavior of a person. Literary work is a work that is very closely related to the real life of humans themselves, an author expresses or the media used to appreciate the results of his thoughts can be through written media such as novels, poetry, short stories and many more. A novel is a form of literary work that presents various life problems in the form of a narrative or storyline. Apart from that, the novel also has supporting elements in it, namely intrinsic elements and extrinsic elements which have been neatly arranged. In a novel, apart from containing a storyline in the form of a narrative, there are also various values ​​that can be learned in everyday life. The novel also contains various problems and conflicts in it. This is what makes the novel a literary work that attracts a lot of attention from readers or literature lovers.The results of the research are Caring for Others, Helping Each Other, Deliberation, Living in Harmony, Forgiving, Keeping Promises, Respecting Others.

Abstract

This service activity was carried out as an effort by the Indonesian Language Education study program to increase students' interest in reading about the regional lore of South Sumatra. Through this reading activity, it is hoped that students will be able to discover, know and understand the moral and cultural values in the sagas of South Sumatra. The Student Creativity Program (PkM) activities are carried out in the form of counseling. PkM activities were carried out at SMK Madyatama Palembang with 38 students. After implementing this PkM, students have a good interest in reading and increase their awareness at school that reading is important

Abstract

This activity aims to improve the writing skills of students of SMAN 12 Palembang, especially in composing Instagram captions using the 5W + 1H method. The activity of the Student Creativity Program (PkM) is carried out in the form of counseling and training. the target of counseling and training activities is SMA Negeri 12 Palembang class XI students as many as 34 people. The results of the activity show that students are able to compile informative, relevant, and accurate captions, as well as increase awareness of responsibility in disseminating information on social media. This is expected to be a real contribution in building a responsible literacy culture in the digital era.
