Abstract

This research is to discuss the exiting conditions of the management implementation of public policies in Government of Serang Regency in the Village Fund program which at this time is being actively disbursed by the Central Government through local regency government. The research in this thesis is qualitative research which means that the primary data from this study is obtained by relying on in-depth interviews with several key informants until the data becomes saturated and explores opinions through Focus Group Discussion. The key informants from this study consisted of Serang Regent, leading sector and supporting sector in Serang Regency Government, as well as operational sectors of Village Fund activities such as Village Heads and Village Facilitators. This research was conducted in Teluk Terate Village, Kramatwatu District, Serang Regency. The writing of this paper is also carried out with reference sources from various literatures which are equipped with a subjective review of the researcher on the topic presented. From the results of the study, there were some constraints in the management of the Village Fund in general, such as the existence of a three-sectoral ego that handled Village Government, the paradox of Village Fund regulation policies, too many regulations issued, the lack of professionalism of Village Assistance, and several other obstacles. This study obtained the ideal model and ideal strategy for management implementing of the Serang Regency Government in handling the Village Fund. In carrying out a description of the implementation of the Serang Regency Government policy on the Village Fund, researchers used the approach through the theory of Edward III.

Abstract

The purpose of this academic research is that to determine the actual condition of the construction service provider company in Indonesia in terms of procurement of construction workers. The research is purpose to evaluate of contractual labor procurement models of skilled workers and blue-collar labor. Researching locus is at PT. Professional Indonesia Lantera Raga in Serang City - Banten Province. This case research approach through interviews to the general superintendent, managers, and directors of the company, the opinion of the chairman of the construction entrepreneur at local association, amd other resources in the form of theoretical data. After doing the research, it can be concluded that the company does a specific strategy in the procurement of contractual labor, by just in time (temporal), where the majority of construction workers are placed at job sites as contractual workers or workers with an agreement for a certain period refers to Indonesia Labor Law. Thus it becomes a common thing that is done by the construction company in Indonesia. The conclusion is that it can be drawn that the construction workers recruitment as the temporal workers, is entirely given to the recruitment and placement by the general superintendent; an activity that is not ideal yet from the point of view of HRM. Then the author made an ideal model for the recruitment of contractual workers in order to help companies to be more productive in the future and their expected algorithm impact. This academic research is hopefully useful for the scientific management of human resources and can contribute ideas to the stake holders in the field of construction services.

Abstract

 Objective: The research objective was to identify and analyze the relationship between student ability and project-based learning (PBL) with increased learning, the relationship between critical thinking ability and project-based learning with increased learning, and the relationship between project-based learning and learning improvement. project-based learning mediates the relationship between student ability and learning improvement and mediates the relationship between critical thinking ability and learning improvement.Methodology: This research is a type of quantitative research where it examines the relationship between exogenous and endogenous variables. This quantitative study uses the SEM-SmartPLS 3.0 model and also uses a quasi-experimental design method because it observes two groups, namely the control group and the experimental group.Findings: Based on the results of hypothesis testing using Smart PLS it shows that, H1, H2, & H3, are accepted because the t table value is greater than the calculated t value or has an alpha (α) value less than 5%. Whereas H4, H5, H6, and H7 cannot be accepted (rejected) because their value is greater than 5%. The experimental class showed an increase with the previous average value of 54.31 while the average result after treatment was 78.79 so there was an increase of 24.48. The homogeneity of the data was tested with the homogeneity test of variance with the significance value of 0.693 > 0.05.Conclusion: Student Ability has a significant effect on PBL and learning improvement. critical thinking ability has a significant effect on PBL and learning improvement. PBL has no significant effect on learning improvement. PBL does not mediate the relationship between student ability and learning improvement, and the relationship between critical thinking ability and learning improvement. The ability to think critically in learning to write explanatory texts with causal patterns using the Problem-Based Learning model shows good results. This can be seen from the students' scores in the experimental class that has increased after being given treatment (controlled).

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of motivation and incentives on the performance of employees at the merchandise counter (salesperson) at PT. Matahari Department Store Mall of Serang, the authors use quantitative methods to carry out this research. The population in this study were employees at the Merchandise Counter (Pramuniaga) PT. Matahari Department Store Mall of Serang and for a population of 41 employees. In taking this sample, the writer uses a saturated sample, a sampling technique when all population members are used as samples, so the samples in this study are employees at the Merchandise Counter (Prafficker) PT. Matahari Department Store Mall of Serang has as many as 41 respondents. The study results obtained that motivation and incentives partially each have a significant effect on employee performance, and simultaneously motivation and incentives significantly affect employee performance at the merchandise counter (salesperson) at PT. Matahari Department Store Mall of Serang.

Abstract

Teamwork in an organization is fundamental in an era that continues to change radically. Of course, this is a challenge for any organization because employees who can work well with the team that has been formed can be a competitive advantage for the organization. This research was conducted to determine the strategy in forming teamwork in an organization. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with the PLS-SEM approach. This research was conducted at PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Product Tbk in the QC section. The data collection method is by questionnaire and using the SmartPLS version 4 analysis tool. The results show that transformational leadership and work motivation partially positively and significantly affect teamwork.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of supervision, Team Work and discipline together on the work productivity of employees at PT Jawamanis Rafinasi Cilegon. This study used a quantitative approach. As for the population in this study were employees of PT Jawamanis Rafinasi Cilegon, totaling 172 employees, the sample in this study was using simple random sampling calculated based on the Slovin formula so that a sample of 63 employees was obtained. The results of this study in the first hypothesis that there is a significant influence of supervision on work productivity at PT Jawamanis Rafinasi Cilegon obtained tcount > ttable (2.499 > 2.000) with a significance level of less than 0.05. The second hypothesis is that there is a significant effect of team work on product work productivity at PT Jawamanis Rafinasi Cilegon, the results obtained are tcount > ttable (4.508 > 2.000) with a significance level of less than 0.05. The third hypothesis is that there is a significant effect of discipline on work productivity at PT Jawamanis Rafinasi Cilegon, the results obtained are tcount > ttable (3.713 > 2.000) with a significance level of less than 0.05. The fourth hypothesis is that there is a significant influence between supervision, team work and discipline together on work productivity at PT Jawamanis Rafinasi Cilegon, the results obtained are Fcount > Ftable (21.278 > 2.761) with a significance level less than 0.05).

Abstract

Leadership has a significant role in various aspects of life, whether in organizations, society, or the intimate environment. Effective leadership involves the ability to direct and manage a team properly. A leader can identify individual strengths and weaknesses in a group and allocate tasks and responsibilities efficiently. In this ever-evolving era, innovation and adaptation to change are very important for the survival of an organization or society. A leader can explore new ideas, encourage creativity, and create an environment that supports innovation. They are also able to manage change well, design appropriate strategies, and guide people through transitions that can be difficult. This study comprehensively discussed the relationship between leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment.

Abstract

Teacher performance is a benchmark for the success of the world of education. Therefore, the role of the teacher has a strong influence on students so that learning objectives can be adequately achieved as expected, shown in their appearance, actions, and work performance. Teacher performance is determined by four factors, namely: (1) environment; (2) individual characteristics; (3) organizational characteristics; and (4) job characteristics. Principals play an important role in supervising, evaluating, and motivating to improve teacher performance.

Abstract

In 2020, the world experienced the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic. Our country is no exception; Indonesia was not spared from the confirmed virus outbreak from China. The Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) outbreak in Banten Province has shaken all aspects of human life, not only in the health sector but also in the economic, social, cultural, and political fields. Changes in all aspects of life have brought us into a new era; that is to say, we have entered conditions to make peace with the Coronavirus pandemic for almost 3 (three) years. In 2023, President Joko Widodo on June 21, 2023, officially announced the revocation of the COVID-19 pandemic status in Indonesia. With this repeal, Indonesia will enter an endemic period. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the Provincial Government of Banten remained responsive in providing public services related to health, the economy, and others for the community. Even during this pandemic, the economy of Banten Province experienced a slowdown. For this reason, the Provincial Government is trying to schedule a New Normal policy so that the economic impact due to the pandemic does not cause a prolonged crisis. This policy relates to regional development planning (RPJMD). The Provincial Government of Banten needs to re-examine its mid-term plan considering that all programs are shifting focus to handling Covid-19. The government has three alternatives in medium-term planning: stick with the original plan, make moderate revisions, or replace it with a new plan based on updated assumptions with the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic and the economic impact. The Provincial Government of Banten continues to coordinate and communicate well with the Central Government and Regency/City Governments throughout Banten.
