Abstract

Interest in learning and lack of motivation are the main problems faced by students at SD Negeri 054870 Tanjung Jati. It can be seen that children at this school have a lack of awareness of educational matters, therefore the importance of tutoring will motivate students to be aware of the importance of education for the future. So that the lecturers and students of Quality Berastagi University aim to hold tutoring activities to increase the learning interest of elementary school students at public elementary school 054870 tanjung jati. This service focuses on grade 4 students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the service implementation, this tutoring activity has a significant impact such as increasing understanding, growing awareness in learning, children are more active in discussing and asking about material that is not understood

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe students' perceptions of the social studies learning process at SD Negeri 020254 Binjai City, North Sumatra Province in 2023. The method used in this study was a descriptive quantitative method, while collecting data by observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the perceptions of class VII students at SD Negeri 020254 Binjai City, North Sumatra Province towards the social studies learning process were divided into three stages, namely the initial stage, the core learning stage and the closing stage of learning. The initial stage of student learning activities obtained results of 86% which gave a positive response. The core stage of learning obtained 97% results and the closing stage obtained results of 100% positive response so it was concluded that the social studies learning process gave a good response at each stage by students.
