Abstract

Learning mathematics today has many variations in learning, one of which is by using GeoGebra Software in learning mathematics. Mathematics in school learning requires the ability to reason, analyze calculations, and imagine in accordance with the ability to think creatively. The purpose of this research is to conduct a literature review related to Creative Thinking Ability in Junior High School Mathematics Learning. The method used in this research is SLR (Systematic Literature Review) on “Use of GeoGebra” and “Creative Thinking Ability” published in the last ten years from sinta and scopus indexed journals in Google Scholar. This study was guided by the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) which resulted in 14 (fourteen) research articles to be systematically reviewed in 2014-2024 which were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results showed that the use of GeoGebra on Creative Thinking Ability in Mathematics Learning was proven to significantly improve the ability of students with the application of learning models or not than conventional learning models.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills are the ability to communicate ideas, solve problems, and create something that has never been discovered by others. Geometry is one of the areas of mathematics taught in schools that requires the use of reasoning, calculation analysis, and creative imagination. This study aims to review the literature on the topic of creative thinking skills in geometry learning in junior high school. SLR (Systematic Literature Review) on “Creative Thinking Ability” and “Geometry” that have been published in the last ten years served as the research methodology. Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA), which generates research articles for systematic reviews between 2014 and 2024, became the basis of this study. The results show that there are several levels of creative thinking skills in geometry learning, namely high, medium, and low, using various approaches, models, and media support. Through the use of media and problem development tools, the results showed a high level of creative thinking ability. A moderate level was achieved when students only showed one or two of the three previously mentioned indicators of creative thinking ability, or when they had not fully met the indicators. The low level was achieved when students did not meet any of the creative thinking indicators and were mostly directed by teacher examples or standard working procedures without any input from students on how to solve the problem

Abstract

Kata Kunci: Komplikasi, Diabetes Type II  ABSTRACT Diabetes is an important public health problem, being one of four priority non-communicable diseases targeted for follow-up by world leaders. Diabetic foot is one of the chronic complications of Diabetes Mellitus that is most feared by Diabetes Mellitus sufferers because it can result in disability and death. Many factors play a role in the length of the wound healing process, including age, duration of diabetes, GDS control, wound stage, choice of dressing, and healing time. It is estimated that 463 million people aged 20-79 years in the world suffer from diabetes or the equivalent of 9.3% of the entire population of the same age in 2019. Based on age, it is estimated that there are 19.9% of people aged 65-79. in 2019 and is predicted to increase to 20.4% in 2030 and 20.5% in 2045 (International Diabetes Federation, 2019). The prevalence of diabetes in DKI Jakarta based on the results of basic health research (Riskesdas) 2018 increased from 2.5% in 2013 to 3.4% in 2018. Based on the 2017 DKI Jakarta Health Service Surveillance, the prevalence of DM sufferers in the DKI area was 131,279 sufferer. The largest number is in the South Jakarta area with 35,027 sufferers and in East Jakarta with 32,400 sufferers (DKI Jakarta Health Service, 2017). Complications from type II DM can affect the blood vessels, nerves, eyes, kidneys, and cardiovascular system. Complications include heart attacks and strokes, severe foot infections (causing gangrene, which may result in amputation), end-stage renal failure, and sexual dysfunction. Abstract

This study explores the limited use of contextual approaches in fostering creative thinking in trigonometry learning. This study aims to determine the difference in creative thinking test scores of vocational high school students before and after learning trigonometry in the context of futsal. This study used a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design and a one-group pretest-posttest form, with 27 tenth-grade students as the sample. The instrument used was a mathematical creative thinking ability test with futsal-contexted trigonometry material. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, the Wilcoxon test, and N-Gain. Descriptive results showed that creative thinking ability was in the moderate range (63%) and increased from 41.81 to 77.26 between the pretest and posttest. The Wilcoxon test showed that Ho was rejected and Ha accepted, indicating a difference in creative thinking skills before and after the treatment (0.000 < 0.05), with an N-Gain score of 0.77. Therefore, it was concluded that the futsal sports context in trigonometry material yielded good results, with a noticeable difference before and after classroom learning.
