Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of the activity and learning outcomes IPS through SAVI approach by video learning. This research used qualitative approach and the form of this research is classroom action research. This research done by collaboration with the researcher and sixth grade teacher. The subject of this research is the sixth grade students of SDN I Sanan Girimarto in 2015/2016 academic year that consist of 14 students. The instrument of collecting data used observation, interview, test, and fields note. The technique of analyzing data used descriptive qualitative analysis. This research is consists of two cycles and each cycles consist of four stage that is planning, action, observation and reflection. The result of this research is percentage of learning activity in cycle I is 64, 29% (9 students) increase 85, 71% in cycle II (12 students). The percentage of learning outcomes in cycle I is 71, 43% (10 students) increase 45,72% in cycle II (12 students). Based on the research that have been implemented, it can bo concluded that improve the activity and learning outcomes used savi approach by video learning.

Abstract

The introduction of the puppet characters for elementary school students is difficult to do, because the students are not interest to story and puppet characters. The purpose of this study, produce multimedia for the introduction of puppet characters are valid, practical, effective, and attractive, so it can be easier for students to recognize the puppet characters. This research is development research, the development model Lee and Owens (2004) with step coherent and easy to follow, step this model is: analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The results showed that the level of validity reached 85.35%; practicability rate 89%; the level of effectiveness of 93.2%; the attractiveness of the level of 88.15%. Suggestions for improvement experts into consideration product improvement. So that the resulting fit product for use with improvements in certain parts.

Abstract

The Development of Web aims to produce an instructional strategy which implement on valid lesson plan in order to enhance the effectiveness of learning. Method used by Lee & Owens (2004) is assessment/analysis; design; development; implementation; evaluation. The result of research shows that the media of learning is valid and it is used effectively on learning.

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the results of a needs analysis derived from interviews and field observations, namely that schools require the development of instructional media on Subtheme: Nation Cultural Diversity. These constraints require solutions to problems so needed instructional media to facilitate student so that effective learning. The aim of research and development is to produce a decent (valid, interesting, practical) and effectively hand puppets media based DST on learning Subtheme: Nation Cultural Diversity for fourth graders of elementary school.This development used model Lee & Owens (2004). The results of the study are hand puppets media based DST decent and effective use in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce instructional media such as video clips that feasible as a supplements implement on Nation Cultural Variety matter. This study uses a five-step development refers to the model developed by Lee & Owens. Test subjects in this study were students and teachers of SD N Nogotirto Gamping Sleman. The results showed that video clips media meet the criteria of very valid with an average of 81.85% product validity. The level of practicality and attractiveness of the products based on user trials are respectively 96.38% and 94.39%. Activities of students acquire 89.00% rate of attainment. Based on the results of the product analysis can be concluded that the video clip is very well worth to be used as an instructional supplements implement on Nation Cultural Variety matter.

Abstract

This study aims to explore information on how the learning outcomes and how the students learn that both parents become migrant workers. Researchers become part of SMPN 2 Jenggawah to carry out research. Research subjects in this study were students of class VIII and IX SMPN 2 Jenggawah whose parents became migrant workers out of town or abroad, amounting to 13 students. Data analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis, while the type of research is case study. The result of the research is the IPS score of MYR students increased from 83 to 85. The total score on the report card also increased, ie from 909 with an average of 82.63 to 918 with an average of 83.45. Differences in attitudes between parents in the overseas area with grandparents who live at home cause learning outcomes obtained by children is less satisfactory. Such grandparents' attitudes make children lazy to learn. Although children get less than satisfactory learning outcomes, children have achievements in other areas, namely the head of the intra-school student organization (OSIS) and soccer players.
