Abstract

This study aims to describe how farmers carry out a strategy of life on three groups of farmer: upper layer, middle layer and peasant farmers to finance their family daily life. This research was conducted in the urban village of Pandu, Sub-District Bunaken, Manado City. Most of them live from farming activities. The research was conducted in November 2015 through to March 2016. The primary data obtained from interviews to three (3) groups. Selection of the sample is purposive stratified sampling. Each group selected five respondents, so a total of 15 respondents. Collection of secondary data derived from the Urban Village Office of Pandu, Manado City. The results showed that the upper and middle groups of farmers tend to apply the accumulation strategy while consolidation strategy was not found. The two groups have incomes that exceed the needs of farming and of the results they could buy a cow, land or other assets. While farmers lower group implement survival strategies. This farmersgroup use their earnings for the daily needs of the family and the other half to farm. Limited income makes farmers can not save even they have to borrow money to supplement the family income either eat or buy school supplies for children.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the level of inequality in regencies / cities in North Sulawesi Province and to analyze the factors that influenced regional disparities that occur in regencies / cities in North Sulawesi Province. Research used secondary data. Data were collected and obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of North Sulawesi Province and related Government Agencies for the period of 2013 to 2017 in the form of GRDP, population, economic potential, and various other secondary data. The data obtained were grouped and processed using the MS Excel application. Method of data analysis was the Williamson Index Method, which was a method of measuring regional inequality. The results showed that North Sulawesi Province experienced low inequality in 2013 to 2016 and high inequality in 2017 with a value of 0.55. Factors affecting North Sulawesi's regional inequality were the concentration of regional economic activity, investment allocation, low levels of mobility and production factors between regions, differences in the demographic conditions of the region and less smooth of trade in land, sea and air transportation. The Williamson Index in 2013-2014 was worth of 0.48, in 2015 it was worth of 0.47, in 2016 it was worth of 0.48 and in 2017 it was worth of 0.55. This showed that the inequality in North Sulawesi from 2013 to 2016 was low but in 2017 was high.Keywords: Regional Inequality, Index Williamson
Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui peran penyuluh pertanian dalam pengembangan kelompok tani di Desa Sukarame Kecamatan Kota Agung Kabupaten Lahat. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive sampling). Responden dalam penelitian ini berasal dari ketua, sekretaris, dan tiga orang anggota dari kelompok tani. Kelompok tani yang menjadi sampel penelitian yaitu 10 kelompok tani dengan 5 kelompok tani merupakan kelas lanjut dan 5 kelompok tani kelas pemula. Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi kesehatan dan mendorong gaya hidup sehat berbasis lingkungan pada keluarga melalui edukasi digital. Tantangan kesehatan modern menuntut pendekatan holistik yang tidak hanya berfokus pada individu, tetapi juga pada lingkungan keluarga dan penggunaan teknologi digital. Program ini dilaksanakan di Desa Rap-Rap Kec. Minahasa Selatan dengan melibatkan 22 keluarga. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan interaktif, demonstrasi praktis, pengembangan materi edukasi digital (video, infografis, modul daring), serta sesi diskusi kelompok terarah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman peserta mengenai gizi seimbang, pentingnya kebersihan lingkungan, pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga, dan pemanfaatan TOGA (Tanaman Obat Keluarga). Peserta juga menunjukkan peningkatan kemauan untuk mengadopsi gaya hidup sehat berbasis lingkungan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, didukung oleh kemudahan akses informasi melalui platform digital. Diharapkan program ini dapat menjadi model bagi pengembangan literasi kesehatan berkelanjutan yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi dan kesadaran lingkungan.
