Abstract

Dalam bahasa Bugis, kelas kata nomina dapat berasal dari hasil penyesuaian bentuk turunan yakni melalui proses afiksasi secara derivatif. Sifat derivatif tersebut memiliki kaidah pembentukan kata sebagaimana yang terdapat dalam bahasa serumpun. Meskipun pembentukan nomina dalam bahasa Bugis memiliki kaidah pembentukan kata, namun proses tersebut memiliki ciri tertentu. Modifikasi model kerja proses pembentukan kata Halle (1973) dan Aronoff (1994) digunakan untuk melihat pola pembentukan nomina secara derivatif dalam bahasa Bugis. Analisis tersebut terdiri atas 5 tahap; 1) bentukan kata/daftar morfem (DM), 2) kaidah pembentukan kata (KPK), 3) kaidah penyesuaian/saringan (KP/S), (4) kaidah lanjutan (KL), dan 5) hasil/kamus (H/K). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perilaku kosakata atau hasil afiksasi dalam bahasa Bugis yang tidak mencapai lima tahap pembentukan kata atau tidak dimasukkan/digunakan secara lazim dalam bahasa Bugis. Hal tersebut memberikan aspek kesemestaan terhadap bahasa Melayu yang memiliki ciri morfologis serupa.

Abstract

This study examines the satirical language style in the lyrics of the song “Gugatan Rakyat Semesta” by the band .Feast using a cognitive semantic approach. This approach is used to reveal the hidden meaning behind the use of words and phrases in the song lyrics as a form of social criticism. The method used is the distribution method which begins with the application of the basic technique of Direct Element Sharing and is continued with advanced techniques in the form of expansion techniques. The results of this study indicate that there are seven words and eight phrases that contain satirical elements. Cognitive semantics is used to help reveal the critical and stylistic cognition of the music group .Feast. The lyrics of the songs studied reflect the cognition of the music group .Feast which is critical and has its own style. The satirical language style used functions as a means of social criticism that is packaged aesthetically and communicatively in musical works.

Abstract

The OECD announced that the science literacy scores of Indonesian students ranked 70th out of 78 participating countries, indicating that science literacy in Indonesia is in the low category. One effort that can be made to improve students' science literacy is by incorporating local wisdom into learning assessments. The aim of this research is to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of a science literacy instrument based on Riau Malay ethnoscience. This study uses the R&D research method designed using the Plomp model. The application of the Plomp model involves three stages: the preliminary research phase, the prototyping phase, and the assessment phase. The research instruments used include questionnaires, observation sheets, interview sheets, and science literacy test instruments based on Riau Malay ethnoscience. The data analysis techniques consist of qualitative and quantitative descriptive data analysis. Based on the data analysis results, the validity level of the test items is 88.16%, which falls into the valid category. The practicality level is 92%, which falls into the practical category. In the effectiveness stage, a score of 47.21% was obtained, which falls into the moderate category. The conclusion of this research is that the science literacy instrument based on Riau Malay ethnoscience is considered valid, practical, and suitable for use in science education.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Media Audio Visual Terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Cerita Pendek Siswa Kelas IX MTs Ummatan Wasathan Pesantren Teknologi Riau . Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain Posttest Only Control Design. Pengambilan sampel penelitian dilakukan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah tes unjuk kerja. Berdasarkan Hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan tiga hal berikut. Pertama, nilai rata-rata tes keterampilan menulis cerita pendek  siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan media audio visual  adalah 80,27. Kedua, nilai rata-rata tes keterampilan menulis cerita pendek  siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model konvensional adalah 74,55. Ketiga, terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran audio visual terhadap keterampilan menulis cerita pendek . Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil nilai t hitung > t tabel (1,831 > 1.681). Perbedaan nilai pada uji t menunjukan bahwa adanya pengaruh positif dari penggunaan media audio visual.Kata Kunci: media pembelajaran, audio visual, cerita pendek AbstractThis research aimed at finding out the effect of Audio-Visual media toward student short story writing skills at the ninth grade of Islamic Junior High School of Ummatan Wasathan Technological Islamic Boarding School Riau. It was quantitative research with experiment method with posttest only control design. Purposive sampling technique was used in this research. Performance test was the instrument used in this research. Based on the analysis results, it could be concluded three things. First, short story writing skill test mean score of students taught by using Audio-Visual media was 80.27. Second, short story writing skill test mean score of studens taught by using conventional model was 74,55. Third, there was an effect of using Audio Visual learing media toward short story writing skils. it was proven with tobserved higher than ttable (1.831>1.671). The diferent score in t-test showed that there was a positive effect of using Audio Visual Media.Keywords: learning media, audio visual, short story
