Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in student learning activities with Team Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning at MTs YPKS Padangsidimpuan. This type of research is classroom action research. The object of this research is to increase student learning activities through TGT type cooperative learning in class VIII MTs YPKS Padangsidimpuan. The research subjects were 33 students in class VIII-4. /friend's explanation was 18%, the activity of reading student books/LKS was 2.5%, the activity of noting the explanation of the teacher/friend/from the book was 12%. , distribution activities by 16%, and activities that are not relevant to learning by 51%. So it was found that student activities for each activity category had not yet reached the ideal activity criteria. The results of the analysis after being given action II were from the results of observing the activity of listening/paying attention to the teacher/friend's explanation by 46%, the activity of reading student books/LKS by 7.5%, the activity of noting the teacher/friend's explanation/from the book by 10.5%, the activity division was 19%, and activities that were not relevant to learning were 17%. This shows that student activities for the four activity categories have experienced improvement, but have met the ideal activity criteria

Abstract

This type of research is Classroom ActionResearch (CAR) by taking research subjects from Class X TKJ SMKS Al-Hasanah Sibuhuan. It consists of 20 students, 10 male students and 10 female students. The object taken in this study is to increase students' mathematics learning creativity in implementing classroom learning, which specializes in contextual learning strategies, as well as the teacher's role in classroom management. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was carried out in two cycles which were equipped with Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), Teacher Handbooks (BPG), Student Worksheets (LKS), and test instruments including tests of students' critical thinking skills, student activity observation sheets, as well as teacher performance observation sheets managing learning. Before the instrument was used, it was tested first and obtained from the 10 tests tested there were 10 valid tests, 5 tests for cycle I and 5 tests for cycle II. The calculation shows that the test reliability coefficient is 0.84 for cycle I and 0.89 for cycle II and is stated learning creativity abilities in the first cycle obtained 65% of the minimum criteria sufficient, and for the second cycle 90%. The results of observations of student activity 79.58% of the criteria in the first cycle, increased to 88.33% in the second cycle. From the data analysis, it shows that the implementation of the actions taken has improved the teacher's ability to manage learning, from "Good enough" in cycle I to "Good" in cycle II.

Abstract

The research method used was classroom action research using two cycles carried out in the first semester with SPLDV material. The sample in this research was 36 students in class X Office Automation and Management at SMK Negeri 1 Aek Nabara. The class used as a sample is class X Office Automation and Management at SMK Negeri 1 Aek Nabara which will use Power Point media in learning. The results of the research show that the ability of students' learning outcomes in learning Mathematics through the PowerPoint media learning model for class , then increased to 88.55 in the "Good" category in cycle II. The results obtained in cycle II showed that the expected categories had been fulfilled, namely with an average score of 75 and classical completion of 75% of students getting a minimum score of Good.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas MTs. Muhammadiyah 22 Padangsidimpuan yang terdiri dari 3 kelas sebanyak 76 siswa, dua kelas ini akan digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian. Kelas kontrol sebanyak 25 siswa dan kelas eksperimen 25 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan sebagai pengumpul data adalah tes yang diberikan sebanyak dua kali, yaitu pretest dan postest. Sedangkan untuk pengolahan data dan analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus uji-t. Berdasarkan uji normalitas dan homogenitas kedua kelas berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Pengujian uji-t diperoleh hasil uji hipotesis yang menunjukkan . Maka dapat diambil kesimpulan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, berarti ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara demonstrasi alat peraga terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi lengkung di kelas IX MTs. Muhammadiya 22 Padangsidimpuan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika ditinjau dari kemampuan awal siswa kelas VII3 SMPN 9 Padangsidimpuan. Jenis penelitian ini dalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Prosedur penelitian ini meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan dan penyelesaian. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII3 SMPN 9 Padangsidimpuan sebanyak 3 orang siswa. Teknik penentuan subjek yaitu dengan memberikan tes kepada seluruh siswa kelas VII3 untuk menentukan subjek yaitu siswa yang berkemampuan tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Penentuan subjek berdasarkan pertimbangan guru mata pelajaran dan skor hasil tes. Penelitian ini mengacu pada empat aspek indikator berpikir kritis yaitu: menginterpretasi, menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan menginferensi. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes berpikir kritis dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan berpikir kritis siswa yang berkemampuan tinggi, siswa yang berkemampuan sedang, dan siswa yang berkemampuan rendah. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan disimpulkan bahwa subjek dengan kemampuan awal tinggi memenuhi keempat indikator berpikir kritis yaitu: interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, dan inferensi. Subjek dengan kemampuan awal sedang memenuhi dua indikator berpikir kritis yaitu: interpretasi dan evaluasi. Dan subjek dengan kemampuan awal rendah tidak memenuhi indikator berpikir kritis.
