Abstract

Abstract

Coffeeshop Boy's is one of the cafes that has survived the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (LSSR) and Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities (ERCA) policies during the pandemic. The power of investors and the quality of coffee are the reasons the Coffeeshop Boy's stay afloat. Coffee is a refreshing ingredient that comes from annual plantations. In Indonesia, farmers cultivate Robusta coffee and Arabica coffee, the difference between these two types of coffee can certainly be known from the taste. This research uses the descriptive qualitative method. Coffeeshop Boy's was originally a bottled coffee company that later turned into a home cafe. The LSSR and ERCA policies make this business must implement the right marketing strategy with the SWOT analysis method to find out the appropriate marketing strategy for this business in maintaining its business in the midst of a pandemic. The results of the SWOT analysis have shown that the total score of the IFAS matrix for strength items is 3.956 while for weakness items are 1.678. The results of the SWOT analysis have shown that the total score of the EFAS matrix for opportunity items is 3.241 while for threats items are 3.359. Based on the coordinates of the IFAS and EFAS matrices, Coffeeshop boy's is in quadrant 2 (ST Strategy) with a product diversification strategy. This has shown that Coffeeshop boy's can face the various threats that exist by taking advantage of the strengths they have. The ST strategy that needs to be implemented is to create new product innovations, provide special offers for new consumers, consumers who are having birthdays, or booking meetings, extend operational time, and create events to strengthen Coffeeshop Boy's branding.

Abstract

Repeated flooding on the island of Sumatra over the last decade has shown that hydrometeorological disasters cannot be understood merely as weather-related problems, but rather as a nexus of ecological crisis, Natural Resource (NR) governance, and exploitative patterns of human–nature relations. This community service activity was conducted in the environment of Istiqlal Mosque PKUMI through panel discussions, public dialogues, and the formulation of policy recommendations. The ecotheology framework was employed to connect spiritual dimensions, public ethics, and environmental policy; meanwhile, “ecological repentance” was used as a transformative concept: changes in awareness, behavioral transformation, and policy correction. The results of the activity indicate four main findings: (1) ecotheology is effective as a “moral language” to broaden acceptance of pro-environmental policies; (2) criticism of the technocratic-extractive paradigm needs to be integrated with the principles of precaution and ecological justice; (3) ecotheological education through a love-based/eco-empathy curriculum has the potential to build intergenerational ecological ethics; and (4) policy recommendations emphasize a moratorium on problematic permits, meaningful public participation (FPIC), enforcement of the polluter pays principle, and the reallocation of extractive subsidies for basic services and ecological restoration. The main outputs of this community service activity are policy recommendations and the strengthening of collaborative networks across faith communities, universities, Islamic boarding schools, mass organizations, and policymakers as the foundation of an ecological repentance movement.

Abstract

Selecting the optimal cultivation block in a multi-plot citrus orchard is a hard multi-criteria problem when the soil criteria mix categorical and numerical measurements. Descriptors like Munsell color, soil structure, and consistency sit alongside numerical pH, and conventional agronomic assessment offers no systematic way to weigh them against each other. This study builds a decision support system (DSS) that pairs the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) with two ranking methods, TOPSIS and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). A rule-based triangular fuzzy number (TFN) protocol first converts the categorical descriptors into numerical inputs through documented rules. Field data came from seven plots across five citrus variety blocks at IP2SIP Tlekung, BRMP Jestro, Batu, East Java, covering texture, structure, color, consistency, and pH. FAHP weights gave a consistency ratio (CR) of 0.0446. Both TOPSIS and SAW ranked plot A1 (Keprok Batu 55 II, 4-year stand) first and A2 (Keprok Batu 55 I, 15-year stand) last, with Spearman ρ = 0.8929 (p = 0.0068). The top and bottom ranks were held across all 10 sensitivity scenarios. The framework gives orchard managers a reproducible way to prioritize block-level soil intervention, marking A1 as the benchmark block and A2 as the priority for pH correction.
