Abstract

Community service was carried out at the Mataram Class II Correctional Center. The target of this activity is 40 correctional clients. In the implementation of this community service, training and mentoring methods are used which are followed by employees and inmates in correctional institutions. The training consists of two stages, where the first stage involves an explanation of cognitive guidance, while the next stage involves individual assistance to practice materials related to cognitive guidance. This training and mentoring runs in accordance with the goals and plans that have been set. This program received a positive response from Bapas and Mataram Class II correctional clients. This activity provides additional knowledge about positive behavior patterns, the development of potential to live independently, and motivation to live normally in society. In the process of guidance activities, correctional clients actively discuss and convey problems faced in community life

Abstract

This community service program was carried out to improve elementary school teachers' understanding and implementation competency of the Love-Based Curriculum (Kurikulum Berbasis Cinta/KBC) issued by the Directorate General of Islamic Education, Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Decree No. 6077 of 2025. The training was held at SMA Negeri 6 Mataram and attended by elementary school teachers from across Mataram City. The background of this activity stems from the need to disseminate the KBC curriculum, which emphasizes the values of love toward Allah and the Prophet, knowledge, the environment, oneself and others, and the homeland as a foundation for character education in Islamic schools. The training was conducted through a participatory approach, covering conceptual understanding, curriculum mapping, lesson plan (RPP) development integrating KBC values, and practice-based learning strategies including Project-Based Learning and Experiential Learning. The results showed a significant increase in teachers' understanding of KBC concepts, improved ability to integrate love-based values into learning activities, and growing confidence in implementing student-centered and character-driven teaching. Teachers also reported that the KBC framework provided a structured and meaningful platform to address issues of intolerance, bullying, and environmental disregard in schools. Thus, this training has proven effective in strengthening teachers' capacity to implement the KBC curriculum and can be recommended for wider adoption across other educational units.

Abstract

Speaking harshly in general is a bad thing because it can have a negative impact on children. The reasons why children say rude things are internal factors such as family, economics, the main triggers are parents who often scold their children, children who make too many demands on their parents. The child's desire to get attention from their parents or people around them, even if that attention takes the form of a reprimand when they say harsh words, children have the desire to rebel and fight against older people because they are too restricted and pressured. Children usually say harsh things in their environment to get recognition from friends. -her friend. Therefore, to reduce rude behavior, group counseling sessions were provided using the client centered technique. The aim of this research is to examine the influence of the Client Centered technique on controlling harsh words in class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 1 Lingsar for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research design uses One Group-Pre-test and Post-test. The population in this study was class from the results of the t-test, it shows that the calculated t value is 30.809 based on a significance level of 5% with db (N-1) = 9 – 1 = 8. It turns out that the limit for rejecting the null hypothesis stated in the t table distribution table is 2.306. This shows that the calculated t value is greater than the t table value, (2.302>2.306) so this research is said to be significant.
