Abstract

This research was conducted on March 2016 at the Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory at Fisheries and Marine Science Faculty, University of Riau. The research aim to observe the embryonic of pawas (Osteochilus hasselti C.V) with to test levels optimum of incubation temperature. The method used in this research is an experimental method and design used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications. The treatment used is P0I26 (hatching with incubation temperature 26°C), P1I28 (hatching with incubation temperature 28°C), P2I30 (hatching with incubation temperature 30°C), P3I32 (hatching with incubation temperature 32°C). The result obtained by the fasted deviding process contained in the treatments in P3I32 (hatching with incubation temperature 32°C) is 2-32 cell devision of cell is 1 hour 15 minutes, morula to gastrula is 4 hours 36 minutes and the formation of embryo until the eggs hatch shield takes 17 hours 45 minutes.Keywords : Pawas (Osteochilus hasselti C. Abstract

The Cérékang people are often used as an example of how Indigenous Peoples successfully carry out traditional conservation of customary forests. This article aims to investigate the conditions that sustain the forest conservation in Cérékang by using Berkes’s (2008) concept of traditional ecological knowledge (TEK) and Houde’s (2007) six dimensions of TEK as the framework. Data collections were obtained through literature review, direct observation, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions with key informants. The results of the study are as follows: First, the mythical construction around the area of forest is connected to their cosmology and stories of origin associated with the La Galigo epic, and the Cérékang people have developed protective attitudes towards forests consistent with the term “sacred ecology”. Second, such an attitude is endured by the ethics that respect the intimate relationship between humans, nature, and spiritual realms, which is subsequently manifested through prohibitions to enter the sacred forest except for ritual. This implies that the Cérékang people rely on symbolic knowledge, not technical knowledge, to protect the forest. The protected forest does not only provide cultural ecosystem services but also regulates services that indirectly benefit the Cerekang People such as flood prevention. Yet, the uncertain legal status of the sacred forest and the activities of a mining company around the area pose threats for continued conservation efforts. Consequently, to exercise direct control over the sacred forest area, new community organizations are integrated with customary institutions formed with support from NGOs, local government, and universities. This can be seen as their adaptation strategy to survive and conserve the forest amid ongoing challenges.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis pengaruh langsung disiplin kerja, dan motivasi kerja, terhadap kinerja, (2) menganalisis pengaruh langsung disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap pelatihan kerja, (3) menganalisis pengaruh tidak langsung disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan data Primer melalui survei sebanyak 63 anggota Polri sebagai sampel dari seluruh jumlah anggota Polri sebanyak 63 personel, survei dilakukan selama 2 (dua) bulan yaitu Maret s.d Mei 2024. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan program SmartPLS. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pengaruh disiplin, dan Motivasi kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap Kinerja Anggota Polri, (2) pengaruh disiplin dan motivasi kerja tidak langsung terhadap kinerja anggota Polri melalui pelatihan kerja. This research was conducted with the aim of: (1) analyzing the direct influence of work ability and work motivation on performance, (2) analyzing the direct influence of work ability and work motivation on mastery of technology, (3) analyzing the indirect influence of work ability and work motivation on performance. This research uses primary data through a survey of 63 members as a sample from a total of 63 members. The survey was conducted for 2 (two) months, namely March to May 2024. The data was analyzed using the SmartPLS program. The results of the research show that: (1) The influence of work ability and work motivation has a direct effect on member performance, (2) the influence of work ability and work motivation has an indirect effect on member performance through mastery of technology.

Abstract

Mahasiswa sebagai calon guru Fisika profesional yang kompeten haruslah memiliki pemahaman konsep serta keterampilan dalam pembelajaran Fisika, karena banyak kejadian atau fenomena yang terdapat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan lingkungan sekitar yang sangat berkaitan dengan Fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep Fisika mahasiswa, dan melatih keterampilan praktikum dalam Laboratorium Virtual melalui penggunaan program Crocodile Physics dengan pendekatan TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelas untuk diteliti yang diberi perlakuan dengan memanfaatkan program Crocodile Physics sebagai media pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa Program studi Pendidikan Fisika Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024 sebanyak 23 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dua kali yaitu sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (posttest) melakukan treatment, kemudian untuk melihat peningkatan pemahaman konsep fisika mahasiswa dilakukan uji t dan N-Gain. Hasil analisis data untuk uji t berpasangan dilakukan dengan SPSS, dengan hasil nilai sig. (2-tailed) adalah sebesar <0,001 kurang dari 0,05 (sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05), artinya terdapat perbedaan yang nyata antara pre-test dan post-test. Kemudian hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa memperoleh kriteria tinggi dengan skor N-Gain sebesar 0,71. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dalam penggunaan program Crocodile Physics sebagai media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dengan menggunakan pendekatan berbasis TPACK.Kata Kunci:TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge); Pemahaman Konsep; Crocodile PhysicsTPACK-Based Learning Assisted by the Crocodile Physics Program to Improve the Understanding of Physics ConceptsABSTRACTStudents as prospective competent professional Physics teachers must have an understanding of concepts and skills in learning Physics because many events or phenomena are contained in daily life and the surrounding environment that are closely related to Physics. This research aims to improve students' ability to understand Physics concepts and train practicum skills in the Virtual Laboratory through the use of the Crocodile Physics program with the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) approach. This type of research was descriptive research. This study used one class to be researched which was treated by utilizing the Crocodile Physics program as a learning medium. The research subjects were 23 students of the Physics Education Study Program for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. Data collection was carried out twice, namely before (pretest) and after (post-test) treatment, then to see an improvement in student's understanding of physics concepts, t-test and N-Gain were carried out. The results of data analysis for the paired t-test were carried out with SPSS, with the results of the sig value. (2-tailed) is <0.001 less than 0.05 (sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05), meaning that there was a real difference between the pre-test and post-test. Then the results of the data analysis showed that the improvement in students’ understanding of concepts obtained high criteria with an N-Gain score of 0.71. Therefore, it can be concluded that there was a positive influence in the use of the Crocodile Physics program as a learning medium in improving the ability of conceptual understanding using a TPACK-based approach.
