Abstract

Objective: Penile cancer are the rarest carcinoma of the genitourinary system that are often devastating for the patient and frequently diagnostically and therapeutically challenging for the Urologist. In view of this, it would be interesting to study the incidence, demographics, presentation, and treatment of the patients. The aim of this study was to report the status of penile cancer at Hasan Sadikin Hospital Bandung. Material & Methods: This was a retrospective study of 9 patients. We study the incidence, demographics, presentation, and treatment of the patients at Hasan Sadikin Hospital Bandung between January 2010 and December 2015. Results: The mean age of the patients was 50.44 ± 12.09 years old. All patients had squamous cell carcinoma. Five patients underwent partial penectomy, 4 patients underwent total penectomy and perineostomy for urinary diversion. Four patients had lymph node localization. A Superficial lymph node dissection was performed in two patients. One of our patient was referred to hemato-oncologist for chemotherapy. Conclusion: Penile cancer seems rare in our hospital. General public should be educated about genital hygiene and early circumcision in male infant as a prophylactic measure. An understanding of the various operative procedures for treatment of the primary tumor and regional lymph nodes is therefore critical in the successful management of this condition.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the experiences of umrah pilgrims participating in a guidance program that integrates gratitude therapy and to examine its impact on the Adversity Quotient (AQ). Using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method (Creswell, 2014), data were collected through in-depth interviews with pilgrims who attended the umrah guidance program at PT Karya Imtaq. The analysis focused on participants’ narratives to uncover meanings, behavioral changes, and post-umrah strategies for maintaining gratitude. The findings reveal three main meanings of gratitude therapy: (1) a shift from reactive gratitude to proactive gratitude, (2) transformation in decision-making and attitudes toward trials, and (3) enhanced perseverance and mental resilience. Gratitude therapy positively influenced the four dimensions of AQ: control, ownership, reach, and endurance. Pilgrims reported greater emotional self-control, a stronger sense of responsibility, the ability to limit the negative impact of problems, and the belief that difficulties are temporary. The study affirms a correlation between gratitude therapy and AQ within the Islamic spiritual framework, suggesting that gratitude-based guidance strengthens spiritual, mental, and emotional resilience in facing life’s challenges.

Abstract

Background: The nursing code of ethics is an obligation for every nurse to apply it, in applying the nursing code of ethics as if it is binding on legal provisions that are binding. The application of the nursing code of ethics is a principle for providing quality nursing services for patients and this is needed for nurses in various positions to commit to the nursing profession. The purpose of applying the code of ethics is to identify, organize, examine and justify humanitarian actions by applying the principles of the nursing code of ethics. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to find out the description of knowledge and attitude of nurses about the code of ethics of nursing in the Kalisat Regional Hospital, Jember Regency. Methods: This research uses descriptive research design with sampling technique which is total sampling with  82 respondents. Retrieval of data using a questionnaire of nurses' knowledge and attitudes about the nursing code of ethics. Results: The results obtained showed 82 (100%) respondents had knowledge of the nursing code of ethics in the good category and 69 (84.1%) had an attitude about the code of ethics in the good category. Although most of  the nurses 'knowledge and attitudes about the nursing code of ethics are in the good category, there are several indicators of nurses' knowledge and attitude about the code of ethics in the moderate and less categories. With advances in health technology, nurses must always improve nurses' knowledge and attitudes about the nursing code of ethics in order to improve the quality of providing nursing care in accordance with the guidelines for the nursing code of ethics. Knowledge possessed by a nurse can influence the nurse's way of thinking so that the nurse indirectly forms a good attitude in applying the nursing code of ethics. Conclusion: These results indicate the nurses' knowledge and attitudes about the nursing code of ethics in the good category but in each indicator there are still nurses who have moderate knowledge and attitudes that need to be improved for maximum results on each indicator.   Keywords: Knowledge; Attitudes; Code of Ethic; Nurse; Nursing.   Pendahuluan: Kode etik keperawatan adalah sebuah kewajiban bagi setiap perawat untuk menerapkannya, dalam menerapkan kode etik keperawatan layaknya menjelankan ketentuan hukum yang bersifat mengikat. Penerapan kode etik keperawatan adalah prinsip untuk memberi pelayanan keperawatan yang berkualitas bagi pasien dan ini di perlukan bagi perawat di berbagai posisi untuk berkomitmen pada profesi keperawatan. Tujuan penerapan kode etik untuk mengidentifikasi, mengorganisasikan, memeriksa dan membenarkan tindakan- tindakan kemanusiaan dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip kode etik keperawatan. Tujuan: Mengetahuai gambaran pengetahuan dan sikap perawata tentang kode etik keperawatan di Rumah Sakit Daerah Kalisat Kabupaten Jember. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu sampling total dengan jumlah responden 82 perawat. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner pengetahuan dan sikap perawat tentang kode etik keperawatan. Hasil: Hasil penelitian yang di peroleh menggambarkan 82 (100%) responden memiliki pengetahuan tentang kode etik keperawatan dalam kategori baik. Seorang perawat sangat penting untuk memahami pedoman kode etik keperawatan karena kode etik keperawatan merupakan pedoman dalam melakukan pelayanan keperawatan dan 69 (84,1%) memiliki sikap tentang kode etik dalam kategori baik, 13 (15,9%) responden memiliki sikap tentang kode etik keperawatan dalam kategori sedang. pengetahuan yang dimiliki seorang perawat dapat mempengaruhi cara berfikir perawat tersebut sehingga secara tidak langsung perawat tersebut membentuk sikap yang baik dalam menerapkan kode etik keperawatan. Simpulan: Hasil tersebut menunjukkan pengetahuan dan sikap perawat tentang kode etik keperawatan dalam kategori baik namun pada setiap indikator yang masih terdapat perawat yang memiliki pengetahuan dan sikap sedang dan kurang perlu di tingkatkan untuk hasil yang maximal pada setiap indikator.   Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan; Sikap; Kode Etik, Perawat, Keperawatan

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan tema peningkatan omset penjualan melalui penerapan bauran pemasaran kelompok usaha mikro kecil menengah skala rumah Kelurahan Pal Putih Sorong dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan omset penjualan melalui penerapan bauran pemasaran kelompok usaha skala rumah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pengabdian masyarakat yang melalui beberapa yaitu tahap pelatihan pembuatan label menggunakan aplikasi canva, pelatihan penentuan packaging, dan persiapan penerapan bauran pemasaran secara digital dengan menggunakan platform media sosial seperti facebook, instagram, dan tiktok. Kegiatan di Kelurahan Pal Putih berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam pemasaran produk. Produk yang digunakan untuk pengaplikasian penerapan bauran pemasaran yaitu kerupuk udang. Kerupuk udang yang dimaksud adalah produk hasil karya dari ibu-ibu kelurahan Pal Putih yang merupakan hasil ide bisnis dari tim. Penerapan bauran pemasaran dapat dikendalikan oleh pemasar untuk mempengaruhi calon konsumen yang meliputi produk, harga, lokasi, dan promosi. Dan era teknologi tim juga menerapan bauran pemasaran digital melalui media sosial menjadi strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan omzet penjualan. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini mencerminkan peluang dan dukungan kuat dari masyarakat setempat.
