Abstract

This model of quality monitoring is a web and SMS gateway-based an application which is specifically designed for quality control of upright piano painting in PT XYZ. Previously, the data processing for preparing a daily report consume long time. The painting production always is  evaluated every month due to wait collection daily reports for one month. This situation is very to be late and can damage the large number of painting. To overcome this problem, a web and SMS gateway-based quality monitoring model of Upright Piano Painting is designed. This model use evolutionary development algorithm, and based on Unified Modeling Language (UML). The result has indicated that the designed model can speed up the processing of daily data and send a SMS of daily monitoring report of quality upright piano painting to painting manager every day. So the evaluation of the production process can be conducted in daily period instead of monthly.

Abstract

Industri konveksi adalah perusahaan yang memproduksi berbagai macam pakaian jadi seperti kaos, kemeja, celana panjang. Dalam penyusunan jadwal produksi, perusahaan harus mampu mengalokasikan setiap pekerjaan yang beragam ke dalam stasiun kerja (mesin jahit dan operator) secara seimbang. Beban kerja yang seimbang pada setiap lini produksi atau tiap stasiun kerja akan menghasilkan minimum makespan (total waktu penyelesaian pekerjaan yang minimal). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun jadwal produksi single-stage pada mesin pararel agar menghasilkan makespan yang minimal menggunakan algoritma greedy. Dari hasil penelitian, algoritma greedy selalu menghasilkan solusi optimal untuk kasus ini. Selain itu, algoritma greedy selalu paling cepat dalam menghasilkan solusi dibandingkan algoritma exhaustive search.

Abstract

All businesses, including car manufacturers, need to understand what aspects of their products are perceived as positive and negative based on user reviews so that they can make improvements for the negative aspects and maintain the already positive aspects of their products. One of the available tools for this task is Sentiment Analysis. The traditional document-level and sentence-level sentiment analysis will only classify each document / sentence into a class. This approach is incapable of finding the more fine-grained sentiment for a specific aspect of interest, for example, comfort, price, engine, paint, etc. Therefore, in this case, Aspect-based Sentiment Analysis is used. A total of 22.702 rows of car review data are scraped from the Edmunds website (www.edmunds.com) for a specific car manufacturer. Dependency Parsing and noun phrase extraction were carried out using the SpaCy module in Python, and VADER sentiment analysis was used to determine the polarity of the sentiment for each noun phrase. Results showed that the vast majority of the sentiments are on the positive aspects: comfortable to drive, good fuel economy / mileage, reliability, spaciousness, value for money, helpful rear camera, quiet ride, good acceleration, well-designed, good sound system, and solid build. The results for the negative aspects have some similar aspects with those in the positive class but has a very low frequency. This finding means that the vast majority of the users are satisfied with multiple aspects of the produced cars. The limitation of this research and future research direction are discussed.

Abstract

Kursi lipat portable banyak digunakan karena ringkas atau berukuran kecil saat dilipat, serta ringan saat dijinjing. Kursi lipat portable digunakan sebagai tempat duduk sementara orang tua atau orang yang tidak mampu berdiri dalam waktu lama di area rekreasi dan tempat ibadah. Banyaknya pilihan di market place online seperti Tokopedia dan Shopee membuat banyak orang mengalami kesulitan dalam memilih kursi lipat terbaik. Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) dengan metode TOPSIS digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan ini. Kriteria pemilihan kursi lipat portable ada 4 (empat), yaitu ringkas atau berukuran kecil saat dilipat, ringan saat dijinjing, harga yang murah serta faktor kenyamanan saat digunakan. Tahap pertama dari metode ini membentuk matrik evaluasi kemudian matrik normalisasi. Kriteria yang bersifat cost dan benefit ditentukan. Kemudian langkah ketiga menghitung matrik normalisasi yang sudah berbobot. Langkah keempat menghitung matrik solusi ideal positif dan negatif, kemudian Langkah kelima menghitung jarak setiap alternatif  terhadap matrik solusi ideal positif dan negatif. Langkah keenam adalah menghitung nilai kesamaan yang terbaik sampai yang terburuk dari tiap alternatif dan kemudian diurutkan. Berdasarkan perhitungan, kursi lipat plastik berjenis teleskopik memiliki nilai kesamaan tertinggi yaitu 0.7443 terhadap solusi ideal
