Abstract

This study aims to examine the development model of Islamic educational institutions, specifically focusing on MTs Islamiyah YPI Batang Kuis, to understand the stages and strategies utilized in managing institutional growth and curriculum integration. Using a qualitative, phenomenological approach, this research collects data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings reveal a four-stage institutional development model: (1) Diagnosis, where the madrasah head identifies and analyzes institutional challenges; (2) Intervention, which involves implementing solutions to address these challenges; (3) Evaluation, through which the outcomes of interventions are assessed; and (4) Maintenance, aiming to sustain and refine the positive results achieved. Furthermore, MTs Islamiyah YPI Batang Kuis operates as a full-day school, utilizing a dual-curriculum model from both the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Religious Affairs, highlighting a structured approach to Islamic education management.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a MIKiR-based mathematics learning MFI product. The location of the research was in the PGMI study program, UIN North Sumatra, Medan, with a total of 25 samples. This research was conducted using the Research & Development method which was adopted from Tiagharijan's development theory. From the realization of this method, this research results that this mathematics learning LKM product is declared feasible with the one sample statistic test, namely 82.32, very practical through observation with a percentage of 9.84%, and quite effective with the acquisition of Ngain 0.71 in the high category, and if converted to Ngain is based on Hake.RR, then the interpretation of Ngain's effectiveness is categorized as quite effective.

Abstract

This study examines the mediating role of organizational culture in the relationship between work motivation, professional responsibility, and teacher performance among 165 public junior high school teachers in Kota Kisaran, Indonesia. Using path analysis, the research tested direct and indirect effects within a structural model based on organizational behavior theory. Results revealed that organizational culture significantly mediates the influence of both work motivation and professional responsibility on teacher performance, transmitting 42.4% of each variable's total effect. While all three predictors demonstrated significant direct effects on performance, organizational culture emerged as the strongest predictor (β = 0.561, p < 0.001), explaining 47.4% of performance variance. The simultaneous model achieved robust explanatory power (R² = 0.484, F = 50.295, p < 0.001) with perfect model fit (Q = 1.00). These findings demonstrate that teacher performance results from synergistic interactions between individual characteristics and organizational contexts rather than isolated factors. The study contributes to educational management literature by empirically validating culture as a critical transmission mechanism linking motivation and accountability to professional outcomes. Implications suggest that school leaders should prioritize integrated interventions addressing motivation, responsibility, and culture simultaneously rather than fragmented approaches to enhance teaching quality effectively.
