Abstract

AbstrakPenyandang disabilitas belum menjadi aktor utama dalam kehidupan sosial khususnya pada panggung-panggung acara kebudayaan dan kesenian. Kondisi ini membuat para penyandang disabilitas menjadi asing dan termarjinalkan. Butuh upaya bersama untuk memperkenalkan siapa dan apa potensi para penyandang disabilitas ini ke ruang-ruang publik. Pekan Budaya Difabel 2019 sebagai kelanjutan acara Jambore Difabel merupakan salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Yogyakarta bersama Pemerintah Daerah dalam membuka sekat-sekat sosial terhadap para penyandang disabilitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan art-based research hendak menjabarkan rangkaian acara Pekan Budaya Difabel 2019. Acara ini menjadi ruang bagi masyarkat difabel untuk unjuk kebolehan, potensi, hasil kreasi, menampilkan eksistensi, mengomunikasikan pandangan dan pengalaman, melebarkan jejaring melalui kegiatan antar komunitas, membuka akses dan peluang kerjasama dan ekonomi, serta apresiasi dari masyarakat luas. Kata kunci: disabilitas, seniman, pertunjukan, pekan budaya difabel   AbstractPersons with disabilities have not become the main actors in social life, especially on the stages of cultural and artistic events. This condition makes people with disabilities become strangers and marginalized. It takes a concerted effort to introduce who and what the potential of persons with disabilities is in public spaces. The Difabel Culture Week 2019, as a continuation of the Difabel Jambore, is one of the efforts made by the people of Yogyakarta and the Regional Government to open social barriers to people with disabilities. This research is a descriptive qualitative method with an art-based research approach to describe the series of events for the 2019 Difabel Culture Week. This event is a space for people with disabilities to show their skills, potential, and art product, show their existence and share their views and experiences as disabled people. Through this event, the disabled community may expand networks, opening access and opportunities for cooperation and economy, as well as appreciation from the wider community. Keywords: disability, artist, performing art, disabled cultural week

Abstract

AbstrakFilm Eternals mengisahkan tokoh-tokoh Eternals sebagai ras kosmik hampir abadi yang ditugaskan Celestial bernama Arishem untuk melindungi bumi dari serangan Deviants. Sejak pertama kali diutus ke Bumi, Eternals dilarang oleh Arishem untuk terikat dengan manusia, namun akhirnya larangan tersebut dilanggar dan menyisakan konflik-konflik yang membawa Eternals dalam keadaan yang pelik. Kesepuluh anggota Eternals sebagai tokoh-tokoh utama mengalami perubahan fungsi karakter dalam narasi film Eternals. Eternals yang semula bersatu menjalankan prinsip persamaan visi dan misi, akhirnya menjadi saling beroposisi karena perbedaan pandangan terhadap kemanusiaan dan tujuan penciptaan mereka. Penelitian ini menganalisis fungsi karakter dalam film Eternals menggunakan teori fungsi narasi Vladimir Propp dengan menemukan 31 fungsi karakter dan 7 karakter dalam film Eternals. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa dalam film Eternals ditemukan tiga puluh dari tiga puluh satu fungsi narasi menurut teori Vladimir Propp. Berdasarkan ketiga puluh puluh fungsi narasi pada film Eternals, terdapat lima karakter, yaitu Penjahat, Penderma, Pahlawan, Pengirim, dan Pahlawan Palsu. Perubahan utama dalam fungsi karakter terjadi pada tokoh Ikaris dan Sprite. Kata kunci: Film, Eternals, Fungsi Narasi, Vladimir Propp   AbstractThe film Eternals tells the story of the Eternals as a near-eternal cosmic race assigned by a Celestial named Arishem to protect Earth from Deviants' attacks. Since they were sent to Earth, Arishem has forbidden the Eternals to bond with humans. However, in the end, the prohibition was violated and left conflicts that brought the Eternals into a complicated situation. The ten members of Eternals as the main characters experience changes in the function of characters in the Eternals film narrative. The Eternals, who initially held the same vision and mission, eventually became opposed to each other because of their different views on humanity and the purpose of their creation. This study analyzes the function of characters in the film Eternals using the narrative function theory of Vladimir Propp by finding 31 character functions and seven characters in the film Eternals. The results show that in the film Eternals, thirty out of thirty-one narrative functions according to Vladimir Propp's theory. Based on the thirty narrative functions in the film Eternals, there are five characters: the Villain, the Donor, the Hero, the Dispatcher, and the False Hero. Abstract

Terdapat faktor krusial yang luput dari pelatihan maupun kajian keaktoran, yaitu sisi kesiapan psikologis seorang aktor. Penelitian ini mengukur tingkat kecemasan performa yang dialami oleh mahasiswa teater Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta sebagai calon aktor profesional. Penelitian ini menjelaskan tingkat kecemasan performa aktor dan korelasinya dengan variabel lama waktu latihan serta variabel jenis kelamin. Tingkat kecemasan diukur dengan skala kecemasan performa aktor teater yang telah dikembangkan sebelumnya oleh penulis. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan tingkat kecemasan performa yang signifikan antara mahasiswa yang telah berlatih teater selama 1 tahun, 2-3 tahun, dan >3 tahun (p = 0,322; p > 0,05). Tidak terdapat perbedaan kecemasan antara mahasiswa dengan mahasiswi teater (p = 0,110; p > 0,05). Laki-laki dan perempuan mengalami kecemasan kategori sedang. Umumnya jam terbang latihan diyakini sebagai faktor kuat untuk menghilangkan atau mereduksi kecemasan performa. Penelitian ini membuktikan waktu latihan tidak menjamin seorang aktor terlepas dari kecemasan performa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi landasan dalam pengembangan materi dan metode ajar pada mata kuliah keaktoran. Kata kunci: aktor, teater, kecemasan performa, mahasiswa, skala psikologi The Actor Performance Anxiety of Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta Theatre Major StudentThis study measures the level of performance anxiety experienced by theater students at the Yogyakarta Art Institute as prospective professional actors. This study describes the actor's level of performance anxiety and its correlation with the variable length of training time and gender. The level of anxiety is measured by the theater actor's performance anxiety scale, which the author has previously developed. This study shows no significant difference in the level of performance anxiety between students who have practiced theater for one year, 2-3 years, and >3 years (p = 0.322; p > 0.05). There was no significant difference between male and female students (p = 0.110; p > 0.05). Both male and female students experience anxiety in the moderate category. This research proves that rehearsal time does not guarantee that an actor will be free from performance anxiety. This research is expected to be the basis for developing teaching materials and methods in acting courses. Keywords: actor, theater, performance anxiety, student, psychology scale

Abstract

ABSTRAKKecemasan performa musik (MPA) berdampak negatif bagi performa musisi dalam jangka pendek hingga panjang.  Penelitian ini mengukur MPA mahasiswa Jurusan Musik Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta. MPA ditinjau dari pilihan mayor instrumen, jenis kelamin, lama pengalaman musik, dan asal sekolah (SMK Musik dan SMU). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan subjek mahasiswa aktif Jurusan Musik ISI Yogyakarta (N = 133). Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswi (perempuan) menunjukkan MPA yang lebih tinggi dibanding mahasiswa (laki-laki) (p = 0.03); tidak terdapat perbedaan kecemasan performa musik berdasarkan instrumen musik mayor, lama pengalaman bermusik, maupun asal sekolah (p > 0.05); terdapat 68% mahasiswa musik yang mengalami MPA pada tingkat medium hingga kecemasan sangat tinggi. Mahasiswa musik memiliki beberapa strategi coping untuk menghadapi MPA, namun masih terdapat beberapa mahasiswa yang masih bingung dan tidak memiliki cara untuk mengatasi MPA. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi suatu evaluasi pada pengembangan metode belajar musik yang memperhatikan kesiapan psikologis mahasiswa musik. ABSTRACTMusic performance anxiety (MPA) harms musicians' performance in the short to long term. This research measures the MPA of music students at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta. MPA was assessed based on the choice of the musical instrument, gender, length of experience, and high-school origins (SMM and SMU). This research utilizes quantitative methods with the subjects of active students of the Music Department of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta (N = 133). This research concluded that female students exhibit higher anxiety levels than males (p = 0.03); there was no significant difference in music performance anxiety based on instrument major, length of musical experience, or school origin (p > 0.05). It was found that 68% of music students at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta experience medium to very high levels of music performance anxiety. Music students have reported their coping strategies to deal with music performance anxiety. However, some students reported that they have no coping strategy for their anxiety. It suggests the need to consider the psychological readiness of music students when developing music learning methods.

Abstract

Music criticism serves as a cornerstone of higher education music programs. Its discourse is indispensable for maintaining a stable music ecosystem, especially within journalistic and curatorial contexts. The Music Department at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta, a research-oriented institution, has integrated a music criticism course into its core curriculum. Moreover, this course is an elective and accessible to students from diverse disciplines and institutions participating in the Kampus Merdeka program. An innovative pedagogical approach is imperative to ensure the relevance of music criticism to society and academia.  This research explores film's potential as an alternative tool and approach for music criticism education. Film can enhance student engagement and learning experiences by combining auditory and visual elements. The research investigates the narrative structure of musical films and explores how these films can cultivate critical thinking among students. This study delves into dramatic structure and musicological perspectives using a qualitative descriptive methodology. This research involves the stages of film observation and focus group discussions with students in the classroom to determine which films are representative and can be used as study materials. The analysis involves Vogler's classification theory and Vladimir Propp's narrative structure. The data conclusions triangulate the analysis results using theory and data interpretation based on observations as well as focus group discussions. Findings reveal that supporting characters, often overlooked in cinematic narratives, play a significant role in mapping the music profession. This study underscores the pivotal roles of journalists and critics, demonstrating their tangible contributions to the social and cultural landscape.  The study will offer a new approach to innovative music criticism education by incorporating the appreciation of musical films as a medium to enhance the ability to analyze phenomena within the arts.
