Abstract

The aims and objectives of this Community Service are to implement the Tridarma of Higher Education and contribute ideas and transfer technology to the pre-employment force in Medan City. As we all know that the application of information technology, especially websites, has touched all aspects of human life such as business, education, government, health, and other fields. Abstract

Community service is part of the tridarma task of higher education. This community service activity leads to the application of knowledge and technology directly to the community. In this community service activity, the team provided assistance to fellow Methodist Indonesia University lecturers at the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Agriculture. This activity aims to assist fellow lecturers in the two Faculties in updating the SINTA profile of each lecturer based on the existing circular letter.

Abstract

State Vocational High School 1 Pantai Labu is a vocational school located on Jl.Pasar XII Desa Durian. The student attendance system still uses it manually in the form of sheets of paper. Student absenteeism often occurs in one room, so it is difficult for schools and parents to submit reports on their children's attendance. Because parents understand their children's attendance reports when taking report cards, so there are some students who skip school. This problem is certainly troublesome for schools and parents. based on the problem, of course for parents that their children are in school, want to monitor their children who are participating in learning activities. Observing the above problems, it is necessary to have a web-based student attendance system with whatsapp gateway. The waterfall method is divided into several terms, namely planning, analysis, design and implementation. Data collection will use literature review, field review and interview methods. PHP, HTML, CSS and Javascript programming languages. The author will build a Web-Based Student Attendance Information System using the Whatsapp Gateway. In the system, it has been used as student attendance at school while controlling the level of student attendance at school in real time by sending WhatsApp messages. Abstract

Teknologi informasi telah menjadi fasilitator utama bagi kegiatan-kegiatan suatu instansi, termasuk salah satunya pada Universitas Methodist Indonesia (UMI). Pada instansi UMI ini merupakan salah satu universitas / perguruan tinggi swasta terkemuka di kota Medan dan instansi ini berupaya meningkatkan kualitas, efisiensi, serta hal pengembangan organisasinya dengan menerapkan teknologi informasi. Pada instansi UMI ini sudah memiliki banyak aktiva (aset) tetap dan sistem pengolahan aktiva tetap. Namun, ternyata sistem yang sudah ada tersebut kurang optimal untuk meningkatkan operasional Universitas Methodist Indonesia kedepannya. Sistem pengolahan data aktiva tetap pada instansi ini selama ini sudah sistem komputer yaitu menggunakan Microsoft Office Excel dengan desain biasa. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan suatu sistem informasi inventarisasi aktiva tetap yang dirancang untuk mempermudah bagian aset menjadi lebih efisien waktu dan akurat. Tujuan dari pembuatan sistem informasi ini adalah menyediakan sistem yang praktis dalam proses pengkodefikasian aset, proses nilai ekonomis suatu aset dan mengolah data yang diperlukan dan dapat memberikan informasi laporan data dengan mudah. Pembuatan Sistem Informasi Inventarisasi Aktiva Tetap Pada Universitas Methodist Indonesia ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual Basic.Net, Microsoft Office Access, dan Crystal Report. Hasil pembuatan sistem ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini dapat memudahkan kinerja yang dilakukan oleh pihak instansi.
