The conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic, which began to plague at the end of 2019, brought about major changes to the patterns of interaction in society. Activities that have been carried out directly have begun to shift to activities carried out online. The use of technology, especially in applications for online interaction patterns such as video conferencing applications, is an alternative. The Zoom Cloud Meeting application is widely used by people who initially had doubts about its security system. By implementing end-to-end encryption with AES-256-GCM, it has been able to convince clients on the information security side to keep using the Zoom Cloud Meeting application.

The research that the author made discusses the application of the exponential comparison method (MPE) in determining thesis topics, supervisors and comparative lecturers of case studies at the Faculty of Computer Science, Indonesian Methodist University which aims to produce decisions in the selection of thesis topics, supervisors and comparison lecturers according to the criteria in Indonesian Methodist University. A decision support system (SPK) is needed that can find the student title value from each criterion that has been determined by the Indonesian Methodist University for the decision-making process. Applying the Exponential Comparison Method (MPE) using the criteria that have been determined by the campus, namely being registered as active students, having completed a minimum of 100 credits, students conducting research and compiling thesis manuscripts. The decision support system for selecting topic titles, supervisors and comparison lecturers made by the author uses the PHP programming language, and uses a MySQL database that is run on the Windows operating system

Learning that uses electronic services as a tool is known in general as e-learning or LMS (Learning Management System). Training on e-learning is realized in Community Service Activities (PKM) as the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education as well as sharing and contributing ideas and transferring knowledge and technology for teachers and students at SMA Masehi GBKP, Brastagi. This service activity was carried out for a day, with material on Making Online Learning Media during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The material for the activities carried out included making online learning media using Edmodo and Easy Class. The online learning media is one of the effective solutions to facilitate online teaching and learning activities for teachers and students. His presence, which is increasingly easy to find, certainly helps teachers and students stay safe studying at home, without being limited by place and time.

Keamanan Virtual Private Server perlu dijamin dengan menerapkan metode keamanan yang diperlukan sesuai dengan ancaman-ancaman serangan yang mungkin terjadi. Peningkatan keamanan untuk menjamin atau mengurangi resiko peluang terjadinya serangan cyber yang terjadi pada server salah satunya DDoS (Distributed Denial Of Service). Metode Port Knocking dapat mengatur buka tutup port logic dalam jaringan komputer dengan perintah knock (pengetukan) dengan menggunakan Knockd dan Intrusion Detection System menggunakan Snort yang dapat memantau lalu lintas paket jaringan. Sistem pendeteksi membaca aktivitas mencurigakan dari sistem komputer jaringan dan mendeteksi aktivitas komputer jaringan yang mungkin melakukan serangan dan selanjutnya informasi disampaikan melalui notifikasi menggunakan Bot Telegram. Ujicoba serangan sebanyak 9 kali menggunakan LOIC system 100 persen berhasil mendeteksi serangan dengan notifikasi dikirim ke telegram. Ujicoba ketukan port 21 (ftp), 22 (ssh), 23 (telnet), 80 (http) menggunakan knockd sebanyak 3 kali berhasil 100 persen dengan durasi 5 detik

Keamanan website fikom-methodist.com adalah hal yang penting sebagai Portal aplikasi administrasi data internal di Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Methodist Indonesia. Sayangnya fikom-methodist.com pernah diserang dan tercatat dalam rekam jejak pada Global Cyber Vandalism Mirror Database. Penelitian diawali dengan analisis tingkat resiko keamanan menggunakan CVSS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dilanjutkan dengan pengujian serangan meliputi SQL Injection, Cross Site Scripting, Broken Access Control, Unrestricted File Upload (Backdooring) serta defacing. Implementasi secure code dilakukan dengan upaya perbaikan coding untuk menambal celah yang ada.Tahapaan terakhir adalah mengukur ulang dengan cvss untuk melihat kembali tingkat kerentantan setelah secure code diterapkan. Pengujian dengan CVSS didapatkan terdapat celah (Reflected XSS) dengan score 5.3 (Medium). Untuk celah BAC juga berhasil dilakukan dan dapat masuk kedalam Dashboard Admin tanpa perlu melalui autentikasi terlebih dahulu (Privilege Escalation) pada CVSS dengan score 9.3 (Critical). Celah Unrestricted File Upload, juga ditemukan dimana dapat dilakukan upload shell backdoor berekstensi “.php” melalui form input pada Dashboard Admin.Nilai CVSS score 10.0 (Critical). Akses merubah konfigurasi file database dan masuk ke dalam database dapat dilakukan. Nilai CVSS untuk upaya defacement pada halaman utama “index.php” bernilai score 10.0 (Critical). Implementasi secure code pada framework Codeigniter menggunakan fungsi escape string dan query binding. Kemudian pada Cross Site Scripting, sistem dilengkapi dengan fungsi xss clean atau html special chars. Selanjutnya pada Broken Access Control, dengan memperbaiki session management. Lalu terakhir Unrestricted File Upload sistem telah dilengkapi dengan pengecekan ekstensi file. Melalui pengujian ulang celah keamanan yang ditemukan sudah berhasil ditutup dan nilai score CVSS untuk semua celah keamanan yang telah ditutup yaitu 0.0 (None).
