Abstract

ABSTRAK Embung Tambakboyo berlokasi pada kawasan strategis dan memiliki daya tarik wisata yang potensial. Permasalahannya wisata Embung Tambakboyo belum dikelola secara baik dan jelas. Valuasi ekonomi lingkungan belum pernah dilakukan untuk wisata Embung Tambakboyo. Penelitian ini penting dan menarik sebagai sumber informasi valid dan bahan rumusan kebijakan pengelolaan dan pengembangan wisata Embung Tambakboyo ke depannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai ekonomi jasa lingkungan, menilai estimasi kesediaan untuk membayar (Willingness To Pay/WTP) terhadap jasa lingkungan, dan menyusun rekomendasi optimalisasi jasa lingkungan Kawasan Wisata Embung Tambakboyo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode biaya perjalanan individu (Individual Travel Cost Method/ITCM) dan pendekatan kesediaan untuk membayar (WTP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan surplus konsumen per individu per kunjungan berdasarkan analisis regresi adalah Rp. 106.470 dan nilai ekonomi totalnya adalah Rp. 6.569.170.531. Surplus konsumen per individu per kunjungan berdasarkan kurva permintaan adalah Rp. 156.854 dan nilai ekonomi totalnya adalah Rp. 9.677.865.078. Hasil perhitungan WTP antara lain rata-rata WTP peningkatan kebersihan Rp. 1.273 per pengunjung, rata-rata WTP penambahan penghijauan Rp. 5.156 per pengunjung, rata-rata WTP peningkatan keindahan Rp. 10.000 per pengunjung, dan rata-rata WTP pemberlakuan retribusi Rp. 1.556 per kunjungan. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa eksistensi Kawasan Wisata Embung Tambakboyo memberikan keuntungan nilai ekonomi jika dilakukan perlindungan lingkungan secara berkelanjutan melalui usaha perbaikan kualitas lingkungan dan perbaikan layanan yang diawali dengan kejelasan kelembagaan pengelola. Adapun usaha perbaikan lingkungan dapat dilakukan berbasis partisipasi pengunjung, baik langsung maupun tidak langsung. Kata kunci: valuasi lingkungan, jasa lingkungan, kualitas lingkungan, metode biaya perjalanan, kesediaan membayar   ABSTRACT  Embung Tambakboyo ecotourism located in strategic areas  and has a potential tourist attraction. The problem is that the Embung Tambakboyo ecotourism has not been managed properly and clearly. An environmental economic valuation has never been carried out for Embung Tambakboyo ecotourism. This research is important and interesting as a source of valid information and material for policy formulation for the management and development of Embung Tambakboyo ecotourism in the future. This study aims to analyze the economic value of environmental services, estimate willingness to pay of enviromental services and give recommendation to optimize environmental services. This study is a survei research conducted using the method of Individual Travel Cost Method and approach of Willingness To Pay. The results showed that consumer surplus for each person of each visit based on regression analysis is Rp. 106.470 and economic value is Rp. 6.569.170.531. Beside that, consumer surplus for each person of each visit based on demand curve is Rp. 156.854 and economic value is Rp. 9.677.865.078. The result of Willingness To Pay approach is average of Willingness To Pay for cleaning facilities is Rp. 1.273 each visitor, average of Willingness To Pay for green facilities is Rp. 5.156 each visitor, average of Willingness To Pay for public facilities in ecotourism is Rp. 10.000 each visitor and average of Willingness To Pay for retribution Rp. 1.556  each visitor.  The results of this study, it can be concluded that the existence of Embung Tambakboyo ecotourism provides great economic benefits if its sustainability continues to be maintained by quality improvement of enviroment and environmental services, that started with good performance institutional management. Furthermore, environmental quality improvement can be implement with visitors participation, directly and indirectly.  Keywords: economic valuation, environmental services, environmental quality, travel cost method, willingness to pay

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine coastal dynamics in Indramayu District using the DPSIR method, which is hypothesized to help researchers understand the influence of human actions on land and sea on coastal ecosystems. A descriptive research strategy based on the Driver, Pressures, States, Impact, and Responses (DPSIR) framework was used. Primary data collected through in-depth interviews and observations became the backbone of this research, while secondary data came from affiliated institutions and organizations.Analysis shows that rapid population growth in the Indramayu region has led to a significant increase in land use along the coast. Conversion of mangrove forests into other uses, such as pond cultivation, agriculture, tourist attractions, and settlements, is common when associated with land conversion. Coastal and mangrove ecosystems, air quality and biodiversity are just a few examples of the physical, chemical and biological changes that result from these changes. Apart from reducing fishery yields, impacts such as abrasion and mangrove deforestation reduce the carrying capacity of land and reduce environmental quality. Efforts to increase community participation in island management are carried out to overcome this, including the construction of breakwaters, mangrove rehabilitation, socialization of the community regarding sustainable fisheries, as well as increasing the value of fishery products and mangrove ecosystem services. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the feasibility of mangrove forests in the Pekalongan Mangrove Park Ecotourism Area in Pekalongan Regency, North Pekalongan City, Central Java as a mangrove ecotourism area and determine a development strategy. This research method used quantitative and qualitative approaches, primary and secondary data obtained from the results of observations, interviews and observations were used as data. The IKW formulation is used as a data analysis technique, and the SWOTL technique is used in the development strategy analysis. The results of the study show that the Pekalongan Mangrove Ecotourism Park which consists of various flora and fauna as well as natural scenery is the main attraction for ecotourism development in Pekalongan City. Based on the results of the suitability analysis, the Pekalongan Mangrove Ecotourism Park has proven to be one of the areas suitable for ecotourism. This is indicated by a swamp suitability index of 68 percent. Alternative Ecotourism Development Strategy SO Mangrove Park Pekalongan will develop all existing groups as an alternative eco-oriented community tourism in Pekalongan City. In the WO Strategy of the Pekalongan City DPRD, provisions are made to maintain and improve the mangrove swamp infrastructure for the Mangrove Ecotourism Area in Pekalongan Park.

Abstract

Environmental management has an important role in PT. Elang Perdana Tyres Industry (PT. EPTI). The company has been implementing a standard of ISO 14001:2015 to implement its environmental management. Environmental Management System (EMS) ISO 14001:2015 implemented consistently and effectively, provides several benefits that can enhance environmental performance in the company. The objectives of this research are 1) to identify the benefits of the implementation of EMS ISO 14001:2015, and 2) to analyze the relationship between the benefits of the implementation of EMS ISO 14001:2015 and the environmental performance of EMS. Primary data was collected from field observations, interviews with respondents, and questionnaire surveys. Secondary data was obtained from company profile, and organizational structure, as well as documents of ISO 14001:2015. This research explained that the benefits of the implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS) ISO 14001:2015 are enhancing company reputation, enhancing customer satisfaction, enhancing employee motivation, and reducing production costs. The main benefit for the company, based on the questionnaire result of 100 respondents determined from the Slovin formula, is enhancing the company's reputation (93 respondents). Besides, this research also explains that the implementation of EMS ISO 14001:2015 has a strong relationship with the environmental performance of EMS ISO 14001:2015 (coefficient of regression 0,717).  Therefore, the benefits of the implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS) ISO 14001:2015 are enhancing company reputation, enhancing customer satisfaction, enhancing employee motivation, and decreasing production costs have a strong relationship with environmental performance EMS ISO 14001:2015 in PT. EPTI. Benefit analysis of the implementation of EMS ISO 14001:2015 is needed to inform the company about the importance of benefits that can be obtained for improving the implementation of EMS ISO 14001:2015. The benefits obtained by the company will attract and motivate the company to improve the performance of EMS ISO 14001:2015. Even these benefits will further motivate continuous improvement that has an impact on effective environmental management in reducing negative environmental impacts and supporting sustainable development as a whole. Pengelolaan lingkungan mempunyai peranan penting di PT. Elang Perdana Tyres Industry (PT. EPTI). Perusahaan telah menerapkan standar ISO 14001:2015 untuk menerapkan pengelolaan lingkungannya. Sistem Manajemen Lingkungan (EMS) ISO 14001:2015 yang diterapkan secara konsisten dan efektif, memberikan beberapa manfaat yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja lingkungan di perusahaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) mengidentifikasi manfaat penerapan EMS ISO 14001:2015, dan 2) menganalisis hubungan manfaat penerapan EMS ISO 14001:2015 dengan kinerja lingkungan EMS. Data primer dikumpulkan dari observasi lapangan, wawancara terhadap responden, dan survei kuesioner. Data sekunder diperoleh dari profil perusahaan, dan struktur organisasi, serta dokumen ISO 14001:2015. Penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa manfaat penerapan Sistem Manajemen Lingkungan (EMS) ISO 14001:2015 adalah meningkatkan reputasi perusahaan, meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan, meningkatkan motivasi karyawan, dan mengurangi biaya produksi. Manfaat utama bagi perusahaan berdasarkan hasil kuesioner terhadap 100 responden yang ditentukan dari rumus Slovin adalah meningkatkan reputasi perusahaan (93 responden). Selain itu penelitian ini juga menjelaskan bahwa penerapan EMS ISO 14001:2015 mempunyai hubungan yang kuat dengan kinerja lingkungan EMS ISO 14001:2015 (koefisien regresi 0,717). Oleh karena itu, manfaat penerapan Sistem Manajemen Lingkungan (EMS) ISO 14001:2015 adalah meningkatkan reputasi perusahaan, meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan, meningkatkan motivasi karyawan, dan menurunkan biaya produksi mempunyai hubungan yang kuat dengan kinerja lingkungan EMS ISO 14001:2015 di PT. EPTI. Analisis manfaat penerapan EMS ISO 14001:2015 diperlukan untuk memberikan informasi kepada perusahaan mengenai pentingnya manfaat yang dapat diperoleh untuk perbaikan penerapan EMS ISO 14001:2015. Manfaat yang diperoleh perusahaan akan menarik dan memotivasi perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kinerja EMS ISO 14001:2015. Bahkan manfaat-manfaat tersebut akan semakin memotivasi perbaikan berkelanjutan yang berdampak pada pengelolaan lingkungan hidup yang efektif dalam mengurangi dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan dan mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Mangrove is a coastal ecosystem that plays a very important role in the balance of the coastal environment. The existence of mangroves is very beneficial for the ecology, social and economy of coastal areas. So that the preservation of mangrove areas is very important to do.This study aims to map the changes in mangroves that occur in the coastal area of Gresik Regency, East Java Province.The method in the study uses a spatial approach with remote sensing technology, the distribution and area of mangroves were obtained from Landsat satellite imagery in 2000, 2010 and 2023. Validation was carried out by field ground checks, in addition, analysis to determine the type of vegetation was carried out using the transect line technique. The results of the study showed that in general in the period from 2000 to 2023 mangroves in the coastal area of Gresik Regency increased, in 2000 it had an area of 1529.16 ha, and in 2010 it increased to 1175.77 ha, and in 2023 mangroves in Gresik Regency in general increased again to 2784.45 ha. In the period 2000-2010 mangroves in several sub-districts experienced a decline, but in the period 2010-203 mangroves mostly experienced an increase, except in Kebomas Sub-district which experienced a decline. This happened because of the increasing number of mangrove rehabilitation activities carried out by the government and local communities and the large sedimentation from the Bengawan Solo River. The mangrove decline factor that occurred in the Kebomas Sub-district area occurred because of the large conversion of mangrove land into other uses, such as for housing, fish ponds and industry.
