Abstract

This study aims to analyze the alignment of existing land use in the Indramayu Regency in 2021 with the spatial pattern of the RTRW of Indramayu Regency in 2011-2031. The data used in this study include Google Earth images in 2021, maps of the administrative boundaries of the Indramayu Regency, and maps of Indramayu Regency spatial patterns in 2011-2031. The analytical technique used in this research is to use the overlay technique, which is to overlay the existing land use map with a spatial pattern map, then a query is made based on the logical matrix of the alignment of land-use types with spatial patterns which produces a map of the alignment of land use with spatial patterns in Indramayu Regency. The results showed that there were 15 types of land use in Indramayu Regency. The largest land use in Indramayu Regency is rice fields with an area of 131,631 (62.9%) of the total land area of the Indramayu Regency). The majority of land in the Indramayu Regency is still in harmony with the planned spatial pattern by 70.31%, transitional land by 6.70%, and not aligned by 22.98%. Land that is not in harmony is widely found in protected forests and paddy fields. Most of the protected forest area in Ithe Indramayu Regency has been turned into a pond area, and the rice field area has become residential land, both village settlements, and urban settlements.

Abstract

Having abundant natural resources, the village is the foundation of the city. Villages have the potential to develop various natural, physical, social, demographic, and cultural resources that have not been optimally utilized. Therefore, sustainable village development is necessary to improve villagers' welfare and quality of life. This study aims to identify the status of village sustainability and sensitive attributes in village development through a case study in Cijeruk Village, Cijeruk District, Bogor Regency. The study examined four aspects of sustainability, ecology, economy, socio-culture, and legal and institutional dimensions using a Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) analysis called Rap-BUSAJI (Rapid Appraisal of Cijeruk Village Development). The study found that Cijeruk Village has a relatively sustainable status, with an overall index of 53.29%. The study also identified ten sensitive attributes that could be used to evaluate development. These ten attributes include three ecological dimension attributes (clean water sources for communal MCK, availability of clean water, and availability of MCK in every house); 3 attributes of the economic dimension (marketing range of main commodities, types of main commodities, and availability of supporting industries for main commodities); 3 attributes of the socio-cultural dimension (average community education level, number of agricultural workforces, and number of unemployment); and one attribute of legal and institutional dimensions (maps of disaster-prone areas availability).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine coastal dynamics in Indramayu District using the DPSIR method, which is hypothesized to help researchers understand the influence of human actions on land and sea on coastal ecosystems. A descriptive research strategy based on the Driver, Pressures, States, Impact, and Responses (DPSIR) framework was used. Primary data collected through in-depth interviews and observations became the backbone of this research, while secondary data came from affiliated institutions and organizations.Analysis shows that rapid population growth in the Indramayu region has led to a significant increase in land use along the coast. Conversion of mangrove forests into other uses, such as pond cultivation, agriculture, tourist attractions, and settlements, is common when associated with land conversion. Coastal and mangrove ecosystems, air quality and biodiversity are just a few examples of the physical, chemical and biological changes that result from these changes. Apart from reducing fishery yields, impacts such as abrasion and mangrove deforestation reduce the carrying capacity of land and reduce environmental quality. Efforts to increase community participation in island management are carried out to overcome this, including the construction of breakwaters, mangrove rehabilitation, socialization of the community regarding sustainable fisheries, as well as increasing the value of fishery products and mangrove ecosystem services. Minimize environmental impact and stay small

Abstract

Regional development is a partial or comprehensive movement to improve the function of land and the structuring of social, economic, cultural, educational, and welfare of the community to advance the region. The importance of commodities in regional development is closely related to key factors such as economic growth, increase in farmers' income, food security, infrastructure development, economic diversification, natural resource management, increasing competitiveness, and strengthening institutions and policies, all of which contribute to community welfare and environmental sustainability. The goals of superior commodities are to increase local economic growth, increase farmers' incomes, achieve food security, encourage infrastructure development, diversify the economy, manage natural resources sustainably, increase competitiveness in the market, and strengthen institutions and policies that support the agricultural sector. Therefore, it is necessary to research the development of superior commodities in Bayah District with the research title "Determination of Superior Commodities in the Agricultural Sector in Regional Development in Bayah District, Lebak Regency." This research will focus on superior commodities that can encourage economic growth in Bayah District, with the identification of food crop base commodities, analysis of food crop superior commodities, and the formulation of food crop superior commodity development strategies in Bayah District. The research uses Location Quotient (LQ) analysis to find base commodities that can be the main focus in regional development with a superior commodity-based approach. The results of LQ analysis show that the leading commodities in Bayah District are rice and soybeans. However, multicriteria analysis shows that rice has a significant contribution to added value and economic benefits in Bayah District. Based on the results of problem solving, it is concluded that to increase a significant contribution to agricultural development in Bayah District, it is necessary to focus on rice superior commodities to expand the use of agricultural land.

Abstract

National economic growth is greatly influenced by industrial growth. Industrial activities in South Cikarang sub-district generally have an impact on regional development and increasing community welfare, industrial development can also increase population. This increase occurred due to the need for a labor in numbers that could not all be provided by the labor in industrial locations, resulting in population migration. The increase in population brings major changes to the increase in basic human needs, namely the need for land as a place to live which will continue to increase naturally, while land is limited and tends to experience environmental degradation. The existence of industry and the increase in population threaten the sustainability of residential areas. The aim of this research is to identify the condition of existing settlements; sustainability status in ecological, economic, social and institutional dimensions; analyzed the availability of residential land and the need for residential land in 2031. The analysis techniques used were spatial analysis, Multi Dimensional Scaling (MDS) analysis, descriptive analysis. The results of the research show that the research location has a fairly sustainable and sustainable status in developing residential areas. In 2031, several villages in the research area lack land for residential areas, so direction is needed regarding plans for sustainable residential area development.

Abstract

Regional disparities are caused by the different development approaches taken in rural and urban areas that must be integrated. The development of rural areas must be followed by the development of inter-village growth centers that connect rural areas with urban areas in an integrated manner. This study aimed to determine the growth centers of rural areas that function as production, processing, marketing, training, and government service centers in rural regions of Cijeruk District. Four aspects determine the center of growth in rural areas: the infrastructure aspect, the social aspect, the physical aspect, and the economic aspect. This research uses scalogram analysis, Hansen analysis, disaster risk analysis, population analysis, and the analytical hierarchy process. The results of the research point to Cijeruk Village as a growth center for rural areas in the Rural Cijeruk District because it is supported by four variables with large values, for instance, public facilities, growth rate, population density, and regional attractiveness.
