Abstract

This article aims to discuss how the influence of Islam in Malay culture. Islam and Malay are two interrelated elements. The two cannot be separated. In writing and compiling this article, the historical approach method is used which consists of four stages, namely the first heuristic as a tool for collecting sources, the second for verification functions to criticize the sources obtained, the third for interpretation to function as interpreting the sources obtained so that they can be used in writing history. and the last is historiography. The results of the study show that the Malay people are open to people who come to their country, thus facilitating cultural diffusion. The Islamization of the Archipelago occurs through channels; trade, marriage, government bureaucracy, tasawuf and tarekat knowledge, education and the arts. The Muslim community in Tanah Melayu initially embraced Islam because of the completeness and beauty of Islam itself which made its adherents better than other people.

Abstract

Artikel ini akan menjelaskan tentang perkembangan madrasah yang ada di Kudus pada kurun abad XX. Madrasah adalah salah satu lembaga pendidikan Islam yang muncul pada abad XX. Madrasah muncul karena adanya pengaruh pembaruan Islam di Timur Tengah serta adanya pergerakan nasional di Indonesia. madrasah muncul di Kudus sebagai lembaga formal mulai tahun 1919 yaitu Madrasah Qudsiyyah. Sebelumnya juga muncul madrasah berbasis nonformal yaitu Madrasah Mu’awanatul Muslimin pada tahun 1818. Kedua madrasah ini mempunyai andil besar dalam pendidikan Islam di Kudus salah satunya yaitu pemerataan pendidikan bagi warga Muslim Kudus yang belum mendapat akses pendidikan. Dalam kenyataannya, kedua madrasah ini mengalami dinamika serta tantangan dan rintangan pada Abad XX. Namun kedua madrasah ini tetap dapat mempertahankan kekhasan sistemnya ditengah arus pada saat itu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendirian Madrasah Mu’awanatul Muslimin dan Madrasah Qudsiyyah diilhami oleh adanya pendidikan yang belum merata bagi masyarakat Kudus pada Abad XX serta pengembangan dari model pendidikan Islam yang berupa pondok pesantren. Dalam sejarahnya, kedua madrasah ini mengalami tantangan dan rintangan yang cukup sulit pada masa penjajahan baik Belanda maupun Jepang. Namun kedua madrasah ini dapat terus mempertahankan eksistensinya. Hal ini didukung oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya adanya dukungan dari masyarakat sekitar dan tokoh agama, mempertahankan kurikulum khas masing-masing dan adanya peranan dari alumni. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Islam, Kudus, Madrasah Mu’awanatul Muslimin dan Madrasah Qudsiyyah.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze Pesantren-based learning management at the Nurul Hakim Pesantren Nurul Hakim, West Lombok. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analytical approach. Data was collected through participant observation, interviews, and document analysis. Data were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the Nurul Hakim Pesantren Nurul Hakim, Kediri, West Lombok has an educational program that is prepared independently where this program contains formal, non-formal and informal educational processes that take place throughout the day in one condition in the dormitory. Thus, Pesantren are institutionally developed to make their impact more effective, Pesantren are not only a place of learning but are a process of life itself, character formation and resource development. With some modifications, a formal teaching system of the classical variety of classroom teaching and an integrated curriculum was implemented. The implications of these findings can be used as a basis for further improvement and development in pesantren-based learning management and increasing the relevance of pesantren education to the demands of the times.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi dan keterampilan manajemen keuangan kelompok sadar wisata (Pokdarwis) Bagek Kembar di Desa Cendi Manik, Kecamatan Sekotong. Pelatihan diberikan secara partisipatif kepada 15 peserta dari berbagai profesi dengan pendekatan ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, simulasi kasus, dan praktik penggunaan aplikasi keuangan digital. Indikator keberhasilan diukur dengan pre-test dan post-test pada tiga aspek utama: pencatatan keuangan, pemisahan keuangan pribadi dan usaha, serta penyusunan laporan sederhana. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada seluruh aspek, di mana rata-rata skor pemahaman dasar pencatatan keuangan naik dari 2,27 ke 3,80; pemisahan keuangan dari 3,20 ke 4,40; dan laporan keuangan dari 2,33 ke 4,13. Pelatihan berhasil menghadirkan perubahan perilaku dalam pencatatan yang lebih akuntabel dan kesiapan migrasi ke sistem digital. Temuan ini penting sebagai fondasi pengembangan ekonomi wisata desa yang lebih profesional, transparan, dan berkelanjutan di Desa Cendi Manik.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the need for developing learning tools based on religious moderation in schools in conflict-prone areas in West Nusa Tenggara. This qualitative research uses a document analysis and narrative analysis approach. The research subjects were 20 people from conflict-prone areas in West Nusa Tenggara who were taken using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using documentation techniques, focus group discussions and in-depth interviews. Data from document analysis was interpreted using the thematic analysis method and FGD data was analyzed using narrative analysis to obtain conclusions regarding the need for developing learning tools based on religious moderation in schools in conflict-prone areas. The research results show that science learning tools in junior high schools in conflict-prone areas do not fully contain the value of religious moderation. Science learning tools for students in conflict-prone areas require explicit elements of moderation. Elements of religious moderation are needed in learning planning documents and textbook documents. The learning planning needed creates an inclusive learning environment, encourages cooperation, develops character values, increases religious understanding, and strengthens student character formation. The required teaching materials contain descriptions that provide a broad understanding of moderation, promote spiritual values, and assist students in character development.

Abstract

This article aimed to examine how Islamic education was taught in Muslim families and to what extent education in those families supported extremism, one suspected of involvement in some religious extremist cases in Indonesia. Considering the participation of all family members, such as husbands, wives, and children, simultaneously in some suicide bombing cases, it is essential to examine parental education levels, roles, and functions in such families. This study highlights the shift in the traditional role of wives, who were previously underappreciated but now play a significant role in shaping the family's religious beliefs. The primary focus of the study is to examine how families can become a means of spreading extremist ideologies. The study gathered data through a literature review and in-depth interviews with families suspected of involvement in extremist activities in Indonesia. The findings showed that families could serve as a conduit for the propagation and dissemination of extremism, with women, particularly wives, and children, occasionally being susceptible to indoctrination under the guise of education. In contrast, at other times, wives act as agents responsible for transmitting extremist ideologies.
