Abstract

Background: Surgery is medication of invasive technique causing physical trauma and risk of death. This high risk can cause a psychological effect namely anxiety in the form of recovery process duration after a surgery.A patient that will go through a surgery feels anxious and needs an intervention of information fulfillment. Objective of the Study: This study aimed to find out the relationship between information fulfillment of pre-surgery patients and their level of anxiety at Muhammadyah Hospital of Palembang in 2017. Method: This study was quantitative using an analytical descriptive design with cross- sectional approach. The sampling technique was accidental sampling with the number of samples of 35 respondents. The data were collected using questionnaire with 12 items of information fulfillment statements and 20 items of statements of anxiety level. This study used bivariate analysis with chi square test. Results: The patients having poor information fulfillment were 22 respondents (62.9%), while those feeling anxious were 23 respondents (65.7%). The results of the statistical test showed that there was a relationship between information fulfillment and level of anxiety (p value = 0.024). Conclusion and Suggestion: Information fulfillment is very important to be carried out to decrease the anxiety of pre-surgery patients. It is expected that health workers particularly nursesapply their knowledge and formulate how to decrease the anxiety of the patients facing a surgery and information standard of pre-surgery condition that can be provided by the nurses in the form of pre-surgery nursing care.

Abstract

AbstrakUpaya membangun budaya keselamatan pasien memerlukan komitmen yang dipengaruhi pengetahuan perawat. Tujuan penelitianquasi experiment ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan keselamatan pasien terhadap pemahaman perawat pelaksanamengenai penerapan keselamatan pasien. Hasil penelitian pada 83 perawat pelaksana di RS XX (kelompok eksperimen) dan83 perawat pelaksana di RS XY (kelompok kontrol) menunjukkan ada perbedaan yang bermakna pemahaman perawat pelaksanasebelum dan setelah mendapatkan pelatihan pada kelompok eksperimen (p= 0,000; α= 0,05) dan tidak ada perbedaan padapemahaman perawat pelaksana sebelum dan setelah pada kelompok kontrol (p= 0,417; α= 0,05). Rumah sakit perlu melakukanprogram pelatihan keselamatan pasien secara berkelanjutan dan mengembangkan standar kinerja untuk memfasilitasi transferpengetahuan perawat.Kata Kunci: keselamatan pasien, pelatihan, pemahaman, perawat pelaksanaAbstractEfforts to build a culture of patient safety required commitment is influenced by knowledge of nurses. This quasi-experimentalstudy aimed to describe the influence of patient safety training for nursing staff’s comprehension of the implementation ofpatient safety’s procedure. Results for 83 nursing staffs XX Hospital (experimental group) and 83 nursing staffs XY Hospital(control group) showed no significant differences in understanding nursing staffs before and after receiving training in theexperimental group (p= 0.000; α= 0.05) and no difference in understanding nursing staffs before and after in the controlgroup (p= 0.417; α= 0.05). Hospitals need to make patient safety training program on an ongoing basis and develop performancestandards as a facilitation of transferred of nursing staff’s knowledge.Keywords: comprehension, nursing staffs, patient safety, training

Abstract

Background : The availability of nursing resources, conducive work atmosphere for nurses and creating safe health service are the factors related to safe staffing. If one of these three aspects is not fulfilled, it can cause low health service quality given by the hospital. The Objective : To identify the factors related to safe staffing at X Palembang Hospital in 2017. Method : This study is a quantitative study using cross sectional survey. The samples were taken by applying total sampling method, there were 48 nurses taken as the respondents. Result : Nurses' perception concerning with the availability of nursing resources was categorized good with 24 respondents (50%), conducive work atmosphere was categorized good with 30 respondents (62,5%), creating safe health service was categorized good with 35 respondents (72,9%), and safe staffing was categorized good with 32 respondents (66,7%). There was a significant correlation between the availability of nursing resources and safe staffing (p value=0,001), there was a significant correlation between conducive work atmosphere and safe staffing (p value=0,027), and there was a significant correlation between creating safe health service system and safe staffing (p value=0,000). Conclusion and Suggestion : It is very important that Hospital apply safe staffing. Nursing department together with Hospital Safety Committee can develop the plan to increase human resources quality by giving training in accordance with nurses' competence, giving reward to nurses, and improving the employees' status.

Abstract

Background: Nurses have a great effect in determining a service quality of a hospital.In particular, caring attitude of paying attention to patients in a humanistic manner will improve a harmonious relationship between nurses and patients. Self-efficacy is one of the factors influencing the caring attitude of a nurse. Objective: This study aimed tofind out the relationship between self-efficacy and caring attitude of the nurses of inpatient wards of BhayangkaraHospital of Palembang in 2017.Method: Thiswas a quantitative study using a correlative descriptive design with cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique was total sampling with the number of sample of 48 respondents. The data were collected using a questionnaire asking 32 items of caring statements and 26 items of self-efficacy statements.Results: Good caring nurses were 28 respondents (58.3%), while good self-efficacy of the nurses was 26 respondents (54.2%). The statistical test result showed that there was a relationship between self-efficacy and caring of the nurses (p Value = 0.05).Conclusion and Suggestion: The caring attitude of the nurses is very important in providing services to patients so that the caring attitude of each nurse can be improved and caring attitude can be cultivated when providing services. To improve self-efficacy can be done through training programs, reward, support, role model, or other specific strategies. Keywords : Self-efficacy, Caring Nurses

Abstract

Patient loyalty can affect hospital development, so it is necessary to control the influencing factors, one of them is by improving the quality of nursing services through a caring approach. The purpose of this study was to identify nurse’s caring at Palembang XX Hospital. Quantitative research methods with a correlative descriptive design and cross sectional approach was used in this research. The sampling technique was accidental sampling with 38 respondents. Data collection tools using questionnaires as many as 25 items caring nurse statements and 18 items of patient loyalty statements. Data analysis used the chi square test. The results of the research are caring nurses good 30 respondents (78.9%), contractual aspects are good 23 respondents (60.5%), ethical aspects are good 28 respondents (73.3%), spiritual aspects are good 24 respondents (63.2%) and good loyalty 24 respondents (63.2%). Research results show that there is a nurse caring relationship with loyalty (p value = 0.034), there is a relationship between contractual aspects and loyalty (p value = 0.006), there is a relationship between ethical aspects and loyalty (p value = 0.021) there is a relationship between spiritual aspects and loyalty ( p value = 0.035). The conclusion and suggestion is that there is a nurse caring relationship with patient loyalty. Efforts need to be made to improve caring nurses by making guidelines on caring nurses

Abstract

Tuntutan pelayanan keperawatan membuat sebagian rumah sakit menerapkan pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan dengan menggunakan komputerisasi. Pasien di rumah sakit sering merasa tidak puas dengan pelayanan karena perawat terlalu lama mencari data-data riwayat penyakit pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang kepuasan perawat dengan kualitas pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan berbasis komputer. Desain penelitian menggunakan rancangan deskriftif analitik. Sampel penelitian menggunakan total sampling yaitu seluruh perawat rawat inap berjumlah 81 responden. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 58% responden menyatakan tidak puas, dan sebanyak 96,3% responden melakukan pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan berbasis komputerisasi dengan kualitas baik. Persepsi perawat tentang kepuasan bahwa perawat merasa tidak puas terutama pada aspek dokumentasi yang dapat melindungi perawat dari hukum tetapi persepsi perawat tentang kualitas pendokumentasian yang mereka lakukan dalam penggunaan komputerisasi cenderung menilai baik kualitas pendokumentasian. Pihak manajemen rumah sakit perlu membuat kebijakan baku tentang perlindungan perawat dari pendokumentasian asuhan keperawatan karena menyangkut tentang kepuasan perawat sebagai pengguna. Kata Kunci: kepuasan perawat, kualitas dokumentasi, manajemen, sistem informasi Abstract Nursing satisfaction to quality of nursing of computer-based nursing.Nursing service demands make some hospitals apply documentation of nursing care using computerization. Patients is often unsatisfactory service so that the patient's time is wasted because the nurse is too long looking for patient history history data. This study aims to find out about nurse satisfaction with the quality of documenting computer-based nursing care. The design uses analytical descriptive research design. The study sample used total sampling, namely all nurses inpatients amounted to 81 respondents. The results showed that more than half of nurses (58%) expressed dissatisfaction, more than half of nurses (96.3%) documented good quality computerized nursing care. Nurses 'perceptions of satisfaction that nurses feel dissatisfied, especially in the documentation aspect that can protect nurses from the law, but nurses' perceptions about the quality of documentation they do in computerized use tend to judge both the quality of documentation. The hospital management needs to make a standard policy regarding the protection of nurses from documenting nursing care because it concerns the satisfaction of nurses as users. Keywords: nurse's satisfaction, quality of documentation, management, information systems

Abstract

Upaya penerapan budaya keselamatan pasien bagi perawat pelaksana memerlukan peran supervisi untuk mewujudkan keselamatan pasien dalam pelayanan keperawatan di rumah sakit. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan supervisi dengan penerapan budaya keselamatan pasien di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Palembang tahun 2017. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelatif dan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu total sampling sebanyak 48 perawat. Alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisa univariat dan bivariat. Hasil: Supervisi yang baik sebanyak 33 responden (69%), sedangkan penerapan budaya keselamatan pasien yang baik sebanyak 31 responden (64,6%). Hasil uji statistik menggunakan Chi Square test menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan supervisi dengan penerapan budaya keselamatan pasien (p value = 0,006). Kesimpulan & Saran: Peran supervisi sangat penting dalam membangun budaya keselamatan pasien, sehingga diharapkan kompetensi supervisi dapat ditingkatkan melalui pelatihan dan dapat menerapkan aktivitas supervisi melalui program sosialisasi, mentoring, konseling, serta penguatan peran komite kesalamatan pasien dalam melakukan survei budaya keselamatan.

Abstract

Pemahaman dan kemampuan pengelolaan sumber daya keperawatan perlu dimiliki oleh perawat manajer agar sumber daya keperawatan yang dimiliki rumah sakit dapat lebih baik dan berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan mutu pelayanan keperawatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi permasalahan berdasarkan kajian situasi dan merumuskan alternatif solusi dengan pendekatan research framework SDM Keperawatan di RS X Depok. Hasil kajian menemukan 3 permasalahan perencanaan SDM Keperawatan di RS X Depok yaitu: kuantitas/kualifikasi tenaga keperawatan, sistem pendidikan berkelanjutan perawat serta sistem pengelolaan dan pengembangan jenjang karir perawat di Instalasi Rawat Inap RS X yang belum optimal. Diharapkan RS merumuskan kebijakan dan pola rekrutmen seleksi hingga pola jenjang karir dan sistem penghargaan yang tepat agar perencanaan SDM Keperawatan di RS X semakin berkualitas The comprehension and ability of nursing resource management need to be owned by nurse manager in order to nursing resource of hospital can be better and positive influence on improving the quality of nursing services. The purpose of this research to identify problem base on situation study and state the alternative solution with research framework approach of nursing human resource at X hospital Depok. The result of study finds three problems in nursing human resource at X hospital Depok, namely: the quality/qualification of nursing staff, the sustainable nursing education system and the management and development of nurse’s level career system in inpatient ward have been optimal yet. To be expected for hospital to formulate the policy and selection recruitment pattern toward the level career and proper achievement system for improving the quality of nursing human resource planning at X hospital.

Abstract

Lingkungan kerja yang sehat bagi organisasi adalah lingkungan kerja yang mampumempengaruhi, mendorong dan memberikan motivasi bagi seseorang untuk bekerjasecara optimal sesuai dengan profesinya, Otonomi dalam konteks kepuasan kerjaperawat merupakan persepsi perawat tentang derajat kemandirian yang mereka rasakandalam menjalankan aktifitasnya sehari-hari dan mencapai kepuasan kerja. Tujuanpenelitian ini adalah untuk menggali hubungan antara otonomi perawat dan kepuasankerja perawat dari aspek hubungan interpersonal, tanggung jawab terhadap tugas dankebijakan organisasi di Instalasi Rawat Inap RSUD Dr.Ibnu Sutowo Baturaja. Penelitian inimenggunakan pendekatan studi lapangan dengan metode pengumpulan data melaluikuesioner terhadap persepsi perawat mengenai otonomi dan kepuasan kerja. Kepuasankerja yang akan diukur adalah kepuasan kerja dari aspek hubungan interpersonal,tanggung jawab terhadap tugas dan kebijakan organisasi bagi perawat di Instalasi RawatInap RSUD Dr. Ibnu Sutowo Baturaja. Hasil pengumpulan data yang dilakukanselanjutnya akan dianalisis secara statistik untuk melihat hubungan antara otonomi dankepuasan kerja perawat. Dari hasil analisis hubungan otonomi perawat dengan kepuasanmenunjukan nilai p Value = 0,0005 lebih kecil dibandingkan nilai alpha = 0.05. Hasil inimenunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara otonomi perawat dengankepuasan kerja, artinya semakin baik otonomi perawat dipersepsikan maka semakin puasperawat terhadap pekerjaannya. Dari hasil penelitian ini diharapkan Rumah sakitsebaiknya lebih memahami dan lebih memperhatikan aspek individu secara spesifikdalam hal ini adalah otonomi dan kepuasan yang mempengaruhi tercapainya tujuanorganisasi rumah sakit dalam memberikan pelayanan keperawatan.
