Abstract

Latar Belakang : Budaya Keselamatan pasien merupakan fondasi keselamatan pasien. Membangun budaya keselamatan pasien merupakan kata kunci terwujudnya pelayanan yang bermutu dan aman, terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi penerapan budaya keselamatan pasien yaitu salah satunya yaitu kerjasama tim. Tujuan Penelitian : Untuk mengetahui hubungan kerjasama tim dengan penerapan budaya keselamatan pasien di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Palembang Tahun 2018. Metode Penelitian : Jenis penelitian ini adalah quantitative descriptive study dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu total sampling sebanyak 42 responden. Alat pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner tentang kerjasama tim, dan penerapan budaya keselamatan pasien. Hasil : Kerjasama tim baik 30 responden (71,4%), dan penerapan budaya keselamatan pasien baik 28 responden (66,7%). Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan kerjasama tim dengan penerapan budaya keselamatan pasien (p value 0,009). Kesimpulan: Perlu diadakan evaluasi standar kriteria seorang leader tim dengan merumuskan niai-nilai professional perawat, perlu adanya seorang leader yang yang dapat mendrong anggota tim dalam membudayakan komunikasi yang terbuka, adanya evaluasi tim baik individu maupun kelompok melalui kegiatan informal ruang rawat, bangun kesadaran akan nilai keselamatan pasien dengan menerapkan budaya keselamatan pasien di semua lini tatanan rumah sakit mulai dari perawat pelaksana sampai ke level manajer di semua ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Palembang. Background: The culture of patient safety is the foundation of patient safety. Building a patient safety culture is the key word for creating good and safe service, there are several factors that influence the implementation of patient safety culture, one of them is team work. Research Objectives: To find out the correlation between teamwork and the implementation of patient safety culture hospitalization room of Bhayangkara Hospital Palembang 2018. Research Method: This study was quantitative descriptive study with cross sectional approach. The total sample that has been collected through total sampling were 42 respondents. The questionnaire used in this study consisted of 19 questions of team work, and 30 questions of patient safety culture implementation. Results: Good teamwork consisted of 30 respondents (71.4%), and patient safety culture implementation consisted 28 respondents (66.7%). The result of statistical test showed that there was a correlation between teamwork and patient safety culture implementation (ρ value 0,009). Conclusions and Suggestion: It is necessary to evaluate the criteria standards of a team leader by formulating the values of professional nurses, the need for a leader who can support team members in cultivating open communication, evaluating both individual and group teams through informal activities in the ward, building awareness of the value of safety patients by applying a culture of patient safety in all lines of the hospital setting from the nurse level to the manager level at all inpatient rooms of Bhayangkara Hospital Palembang.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Pelaksanaan discharge planning yang belum optimal dilaksanakan, dapat menyebabkan tidak efektifnya kontinuitas perawatan di rumah, meningkatkan resiko keparahan (severity), dan dirawat kembali (readmission). Tujuan : Mengetahui hubungan karakteristik perawat dan metode pemberian asuhan keperawatan dengan pelaksanaan discharge planning di Ruang Rawat Inap RSUD Palembang BARI Tahun 2019. Metode : Desain deskriptif analitik dengan cross-sectional. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 perawat dengan tehnik purposive sampling. Penelitian menggunakan instrumen kuesioner. Uji statistik Chi Square dan t-test. Hasil : Ada hubungan antara metode pemberian asuhan keperawatan dengan pelaksanaan discharge planning (p=0,020 < ? = 0,05). Sedangkan usia (p=0,742), jenis kelamin (p=0,672), pendidikan (p=0,165), masa kerja (p=0,618) tidak ada hubungan dengan pelaksanaan discharge planning. Simpulan : Metode pemberian asuhan keperawatan merupakan faktor yang berhubungan dengan pelaksanaan discharge planning. Perlunya penambahan SDM atau perawat di Ruangan pada saat shift malam.

Abstract

Budaya Organisasi merupakan aspek penting dalam terciptanya sistem kinerja perawat yang baik, Budaya organisasi yang baik diruang rawat inap akan mempengaruhi kinerja perawat menjadi lebih baik dan dapat menciptakan pelayanan yang bermutu. Mengetahui hubungan budaya organisasi dengan kinerja perawat dalam memberikan pelayanan keperawatan di Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah Palembang: Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling pada penelitian ini menggunakan dua yaitu kuesioner budaya organisasi dan kinerja perawat dengan menggunakan uji statistik Chi Square dan analisa univariat memiliki 27 responden (54%) perawat yang mempersepsikan budaya organisasi tinggi dan kinerja perawat yang memiliki berkinerja baik terdapat 28 responden (56%) Ada hubungan signifikan antara budaya organisasi dengan kinerja perawat dalam memberikan pelayanan keperawatan (p value =0,000) Budaya organisasi adalah aspek yang berhubungan pada kinerja perawat sehingga diharapkan rumah sakit harus dapat memperhatikan indikator kinerja perawat dalam menciptakan pelayanan keperawatan yang bermutu.

Abstract

A poor patient safety culture will have an impact on increasing the incident rate  or the risk of an incident. The patient safety culture is an important matter that needs to be considered by the hospital. The objectives of this research are finding out the relationship among nurse motivation, role of head nurse, and patient safety culture. This was a descriptive correlational study with cross sectional approach. The number of samples was 49 nurses. This study used chi-square  test. Data were gathered by means of questionnaires about nurse motivation, role of head nurse, and patient safety culture. Results of this research describe 25 respondents (51%) had good motivation, 27 respondents (55.1%) had good role of head nurse, and 26 respondents (66.7) had good patient safety culture. The results showed that there was a relationship between nurse motivation and patient safety culture whith p value of 0.003 (p value < α 0,05) and there was a relationship between role of head nurse and patient safety culture with p value of 0.003 (p value < α 0,05). There was a relationship between nurse motivation and patient safety culture and there was a relationship between role of head nurse and patient safety culture. Nurse’s motivation needs to be improved so that the quality of health workers is better and the efforts of the head nurse in carrying out his/her role in his/her unit need to be made more affective to optimize the patient safety culture.

Abstract

Errors that may be made by nurses associated with the action of reducing the fall risk can be minimized, one way is by supervision. The fall risk in patients if occured can cause various impacts such as injuries, disability, and even death. The objective of this research is finding out the relationship between supervision by head nurse with reduction of fall risk in in-patient room. This research was a descriptive correlational study with cross sectional approach. The number of samples was 49 nurses. This study used chi-square test. Data were gathered by means of questionnaires, supervision by head nurse, and reduction of fall risk. The result showed that there was relationship between supervision by head nurse with reduction of the fall risk with ρ value = 0,015  (ρ value α < 0,05). There was a relationship between supervision by head nurse with reduction of risk of falling. It is necessary to do a periodic evaluation in reducing the fall risk through supervision and making a standard guideline for supervision about fall risk.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan mempunyai tugas utama memberikan pelayanan kesehatan yang berkualitas dan aman bagi masyarakat. Keberhasilan pemberian asuhan keperawatan oleh perawat baik di Rumah Sakit maupun di pelayanan primer ini perlu didukung oleh mekanisme upaya peningkatan profesionalisme perawat. Salah satunya adalah melalui pendidikan keperawatan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor – faktor yang berhubungan dengan motivasi perawat untuk melanjutkan pendidikan pada jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi di Rumah Sakit Muhammadiyah Palembang Tahun 2018. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitaf yang menggunakan metode survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Survey analitik adalah survey atau penelitian yang mencoba menggali bagaimana dan mengapa fenomena kesehatan itu terjadi. Hasil : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua variabel tidak berhubungan dengan motivasi perawat untuk melanjutkan pendidikan: sosial ekonomi (p-valeu : 1,000), jenjang karir (p-value : 0,626), penghargaan (p-value : 0,802) dan dukungan atasan (P-value : 0,873). Simpulan : Faktor sosial ekonomi, jenjang karir, penghargaan dan dukungan atasan tidak berhubungan dengan motivasi perawat untuk melanjutkan pendidikan.

Abstract

Background. the prevalence of hypertension is currently increasing and primary care is the main service in the prevention and management of hypertension. This study aims to obtain an overview of the management of hypertension non-communicable diseases (PTM) in primary care. Methods. Qualitative descriptive research with participants 13 health workers consisting of 12 nurses and 1 midwife, the program responsible for non-communicable diseases (PTM) of the health office and the Puskesmas in Palembang City. Data collection was carried out through Focus Group Discussions with discussion guide instruments. Thematic analysis is carried out on information presented in a narrative manner that describes themes, categories and keywords. Results. the study obtained five themes, namely the health problems of hypertensive patients with physical, psychosocial and social categories; the form of hypertension PTM building services with the category of services in the health center and services outside the building; information needs of Hypertension patients with information categories of signs and symptoms of hypertension, treatment, care; program implementation support in the categories of policy, community participation, government, patient groups and families and obstacles to program implementation in the category of low awareness of hypertension patients, lack of participation of cadres, limited resources (HR), program achievement targets that are difficult to realize Conclusion. the research program managing non-communicable diseases Hypertension in primary care have been implemented, although there are obstacles in achieving the program.

Abstract

Pembangunan kesehatan pada hakekatnya adalah upaya yang dilaksanakan oleh semua komponen Bangsa Indonesia yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran, kemampuan dan kemampuan hidup sehat bagi setiap orang agar terwujud derajat kesehatan masyarakat yang setinggi-tingginya. Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat (GERMAS) merupakan salah satu program dari pemerintah untuk dapat mewujudkan status kesehatan masyarakat setinggitingginya. Desa Sungsang merupakan salah satu dari 17 desa yang ada di Kabupaten Banyuasin. Salah satu permasalahan yang terjadi di Desa Sungsang ini adalah masihrendahnya pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap kegiatan-kegiatan Gerakan Masyarakat Hidup Sehat (GERMAS) dan indikator keluarga sehat. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah agar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dan kemauan masyarakat dalam menjalankan kegiatan-kegiatan GERMAS dengan melibatkan seluruh aspek masyarakat, sehingga pada akhirnya diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat di Desa Sungsang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabmas ini adalah dengan memberikan pendidikan kesehatan tentang GERMAS dan indikator keluarga sehat dengan ceramah menggunakan media leaflet. Setelah dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan, masyarakat yang pengetahuannya baik meningkat sebesar 48,7% dibandingkan sebelum diberikan pendidikan kesehatan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan pendidikan kesehatan tentang GERMAS dan indikator hidup sehat dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tengang GERMAS. Health development is essentially an effort carried out by all components of the Indonesian Nation which aims to increase awareness, ability and ability to live a healthy life for everyone in order to realize the highest degree of public health. The Healthy Life Society Movement (GERMAS) is one of the programs of the government to be able to realize the highest public health status. Sungsang Village is one of 17 villages in Banyuasin Regency. One of the problems that occurred in Sungsang Village was the low level of knowledge and awareness of the community towards the activities of the Healthy Living Community Movement (GERMAS) and indicators of a healthy family. The purpose of this community service is to increase the ability and willingness of the community to carry out GERMAS activities by involving all aspects of the community, so that in the end it is expected to improve the quality of life of people in Sungsang Village. The method used in this community service is to provide health education about GERMAS and indicators of healthy families with lectures using leaflet media. After health education was carried out, the community with good knowledge increased by 48.7% compared to before it was given health education, so it can be concluded that health education about GERMAS and indicators of healthy living can increase the knowledge of GERMAS.

Abstract

Cancer patients need health education as one of the important nursing interventions for adaptation to the deterioration in physical and psychological conditions associated with their quality of life. A quasi-experiment study with a post-test with a control group design has been conducted aiming to test the effectiveness of the Nurse Educator Model (NEM) on the motivation and resilience of cancer patients. A total of 38 people in the intervention group and 40 people in the control group of stage III and IV cancer patients from five chemotherapy units were involved. Motivation and resilience were measured using questionnaires and data were analyzed by independent t-test. The results showed a significant effect of NEM intervention on patient motivation and no significant effect on the resilience of cancer patients. Nurses need to ensure consistent application of NEM to increase cancer patients' motivation and consider other things that affect cancer patients' resilience.

Abstract

Background: Menarche is a condition when a woman experiences her first menstruation. Menarche is a crisis situation for the growth and development of adolescent girls because it can cause embarrassment, anxiety and fear. One way for young women to have readiness to face menarche is to provide information about menstruation correctly through health education. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of peer group health education method on adolescents' readiness to face menarche. Methods: This study was conducted using quasy experimental method with nonequivalent control group design. The sample size was 92 respondents with probability sampling technique. The analysis used Two Independent Sample Test with Mann Whitney. Results: This study shows the effect of peer group method health education on adolescents' readiness to face menarche. Conclusion: Adolescent readiness in facing menarche is increased to the provision of peer group method health education.
