Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of E-WOM, Brand Awareness, and Customer Experience on Customer Satisfaction at McDonald's MERR Surabaya. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach, where data is collected through questionnaires distributed to customers online via Google Forms. The data collected is processed using SPSS Version 30. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. The data analysis results indicate that all statements for all variables are valid, with calculated r-values > table r-values. The reliability test results conclude that all variables are reliable as the Cronbach's Alpha values are > 0.70. The normality test results show that the data used in this study follow a normal distribution. The multicollinearity test results indicate that there are no signs of multicollinearity. The heteroscedasticity test, based on scatterplot analysis, shows that there is no evidence of heteroscedasticity. The obtained multiple linear regression equation is Y = 5.081 + 0.028X1 + 0.175X2 + 0.211X3. The coefficient of determination test results show an adjusted R-square value of 0.432 or 43.2%. The t-test results indicate that the E-WOM variable (X1) has a calculated t-value of 0.418 < table t-value of 1.994 with a significance value of 0.677 > 0.05, meaning that E-WOM does not have an impact on customer satisfaction at McDonald's MERR Surabaya. The Brand Awareness variable (X2) has a calculated t-value of 1.910 < table t-value of 1.994 with a significance value of 0.060 > 0.05, indicating that Brand Awareness does not significantly affect customer satisfaction at McDonald's MERR Surabaya. The Customer Experience variable (X3) has a calculated t-value of 2.794 > table t-value of 1.994 with a significance value of 0.007 < 0.05, meaning that Customer Experience has a significant impact on customer satisfaction at McDonald's MERR Surabaya.

Abstract

Every organization carries out various activities to achieve predetermined goals, but in achieving these goals it often experiences obstacles because the employees they have do not have maximum performance. This research was conducted to determine the effect of job satisfaction, work motivation, and employee commitment on employee performance. The contribution of this research is expected to be able to add information at the theoretical or scientific level of human resource management and also have implications for human resource management in companies. The study used the survey method as a data collection technique, and a questionnaire as an instrument and was distributed to a sample of 138 employees. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression and the data processing method used SPSS version 25. The results showed that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and employee commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. For this reason, the importance of PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines company management in an effort to improve employee performance needs to pay attention to the factors of job satisfaction, work motivation, and employee commitment.

Abstract

The background of the community service program is to increase awareness of the community, especially the elderly, of the importance of health. Health is important, especially for the elderly who have experienced a decrease in the strength of organ function. Therefore, self-awareness is the key to improving the quality of personal health. Self is basically an individual who is responsible for their own health. Increased awareness is expected to help the community (elderly) to be more sensitive to their own health, and try to anticipate or overcome diseases, such as hypertension, uric acid, cholesterol, and diabetes. The method used in this community service is health counseling with health checks and counseling based on the results of health checks. The results of this community service program, namely the participants (elderly) know the current health condition, and can anticipate the worsening of the disease suffered.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh service quality, brand image, WOM, dan lifestyle terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen di Kedai Kopi Jokopi Ketabang Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian 100 responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji validitas dimana semua item pernyataan dinyatakan valid. Selain itu juga menggunakan uji reliabilitas, dimana semua variabel dinyatakan reliabel karena memiliki cronbach’s alpha 0,70. Hasil regresi linear berganda Y = 1,768 + 0,099 X1 + 0,189 X2 + 0,442 X3 + 0,363 X4. Hasil uji t service quality diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 1,354 < 1,985525 dengan signifikan diperoleh sebesar 0,179 > 0,05 artinya menerima H0 dan menolak H1 yang menyatakan service quality tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian; hasil uji t brand image diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 1,392 < 1,98525 dengan signifikan diperoleh sebesar 0,167 > 0,05 artinya menerima H0 dan menolak H2 yang menyatakan brand image tidak berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian; hasil uji t wom diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 3,625 > 1,98525 dengan signifikan diperoleh sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 artinya menolak H0 dan menerima H3 yang menyatakan wom berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian; hasil uji t lifestyle diperoleh nilai t hitung 3,739 > 1,98525 dengan signifikan diperoleh sebesar 0,007 < 0,05 artinya menolak H0 dan menerima H4 yang menyatakan lifestyle berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian

Abstract

Currently, the business world, particularly in the service sector, has developed significantly. One of the growing service industries in Indonesia is tourism. The tourism industry certainly requires accommodations, one of which is lodging. Over time, Surabaya has seen an increase in the number of hotels ranging from 1 star to 5 star establishments. one of the four star hotels in Surabaya is Midtown Residence Surabaya. This research aims to determine whether social media marketing, facilities, location, and trust have an impact on the decision to stay at Midtown Residence Surabaya. This study is conducted quantitatively with data collection using questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS 26. The sample for this study consists of 100 respondents, with purposive sampling used for sample selection. Based on the data analysis results, the study shows that social media marketing does not affect the decision to stay, whereas facilities, location, and trust significantly influence the decision to stay.

Abstract

Purpose: This community service activity was designed to enhance health literacy based on herbal plants and to foster creative entrepreneurial interest among elementary school students through an innovation in herbal candy production. Design/Methodology/Approach: A service learning approach was employed by integrating conceptual learning on herbal plants, hands-on practice in producing herbal candy made from turmeric and tamarind, and learning evaluation through pretests, posttests, and entrepreneurial interest questionnaires. The activity involved fifth- and sixth-grade students of YBPK Christian Elementary School, Surabaya. Findings: The results indicated an improvement in participants’ understanding of the types and benefits of herbal plants, as well as the basic stages of herbal candy production. In addition, more than half of the participants demonstrated an initial interest in developing herbal-based products as simple entrepreneurial opportunities. Practical Implications: Herbal candy products show potential as healthier snack alternatives and as an educational medium for introducing entrepreneurship grounded in local wisdom at the elementary school level. Originality/Value: This activity integrates health education and creative entrepreneurship based on herbal plants into practical learning experiences, offering an applicable and replicable community service model for elementary school education.

Abstract

Appreciating Indonesian contemporary paintings created by Agus Suwage must be related to the painter’s background, existence, culture, and the condition of the national environment. Suwage mostly exploits himself as an object that later becomes a medium to express his restlessness through ideas. The self-portrait objects in Suwage’s paintings function as metaphoric icons. However, the portraiture techniques chosen by Suwage in his works do not narrate a personal story about himself.
