Abstract

The background of the community service program is to provide awareness for young priests in the Surabaya Diocese about the importance of data. Data is an important thing that can be used as a basis for decision making. Therefore, it is necessary to provide an understanding of a data and how to read the data. The methods used in this community service are 1) teaching about research methodology, and 2) training in data processing and reading data using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result of this community service program is that young priests in the Surabaya Diocese become more aware, understand, and can make decisions based on data so that they are able to carry out data-based parish services.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari kepemimpinan entrepreneur dan budaya organisasional terhadap kinerja dosen melalui perilaku kerja inovatif. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 52 dosen tetap di Universitas Katolik Darma Cendika. Data dibagikan menggunakan google form dan dianalisis menggunakan structural equation modelling (SEM) dengan program smart PLS. Hasil dari olah data menunjukan bahwa kepemimpinan entrepreneurial berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif, budaya organisasional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif, perilaku kerja inovatif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja dosen, kepemimpinan entrepreneur tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja dosen, budaya organisasional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja dosen, kepemimpinan entrepreneur tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja dosen melalui perilaku kerja inovatif, dan budaya organisasional berpengaruh signifkan terhadap kinerja dosen melalui perilaku kerja inovatif. Hal ini menujukan bahwa pemimpin Universitas perlu menetukan model kepemimpinan dan menjaga serta meningkatkan budaya organisasional. Abstract

This paper aims to investigate the effect of transformational leadership and organizational culture on innovative behavior and work performance. The sample consisted of 204 lecturers from three catholic universities in Surabaya. The data were obtained from Google form and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with LISREL program. The results of the study indicate that transformational leadership has a negative and significant effect on innovative work behavior, organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior, innovative work behavior has a positive and significant effect on performance, transformational leadership has a negative and significant effect on performance, organizational culture has a positive effect and significant on performance, transformational leadership has a negative and insignificant effect on performance through innovative work behavior, and organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on performance through innovative work behavior. It suggests the university leaders apply appropriate leadership styles, maintain and enhance their organizational culture.

Abstract

The era of disruptive innovation and knowledge-based economy has indirectly affected various sectors of human life. In addition, the new era requires every person to be able to adapt to various changes, so they can survive. Therefore, for Indonesia to have a superior workforce in the era of disruptive innovation and knowledge-based economy, an education model is needed that can prepare a superior workforce. An educational model that can help students to deepen their abilities, basic skills, and cross functional skills. An educational model that can prepare students to face challenges in the future. An educational model that can build competitive advantage. In addition to the education model, the important thing in preparing a superior workforce is the role of educators. The articles in this study were obtained through a library study, the results showed that the role of educators is irreplaceable in the world of education. In the new era, educators are required to have irreplaceable roles related to educational competence, Competence for technological commercialization, Competence in globalization, Competence in future strategies, and Competence counselors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Transformational Leadership terhadap Innovative Work Behavior dari para dosen Perguruan Tinggi dengan mediasi Knowledge Acquisition, dan Knowledge Distribution. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 93 responden dari para dosen di Perguruan Tinggi Surabaya, dimana pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan melalui Google Form. Teknik analisis menggunakan structural equation modelling (SEM) dengan menggunakan ala tolah data Smart-PLS. Hasil penelitian: Transformational Leadership berpengaruh positif terhadap Innovative Work Behavior, Transformational Leadership berpengaruh positif terhadap Knowledge Acquisition, Transformational Leadership berpengaruh positif terhadap Knowledge Distribution, Knowledge Acquisition tidak berpengaruh terhadap Innovative Work Behavior, Knowledge Distribution berpengaruh positif terhadap Innovative Work Behavior, Transformational Leadership tidak berpengaruh terhadap Innovative Work Behavior melalui Knowledge Acquisition, dan Transformational Leadership tidak berpengaruh terhadap Innovative Work Behavior melalui Knowledge Distribution. Implikasi dari penelitian yaitu terkait perlunya pengelolaan knowledge yang dimiliki oleh para dosen agar lebih berpengaruh terhadap perilaku inovasi dari kinerja.

Abstract

Background: Startups in Jakarta face significant challenges in adapting rapidly to a dynamic and competitive business environment. Understanding the role of Creative Leadership (CL) in fostering Strategic Agility (SA) is crucial for addressing these challenges.Purpose: This study aims to analyze the impact of Creative Leadership on Strategic Agility within Jakarta startups, with Innovative Work Behavior (IWB) and Creative Resource Management (CRM) acting as mediating variables.Design/Methodology/Approach: A total of 219 mid- to senior-level managers from various startups in Jakarta participated as respondents. The study utilized Smart PLS 4 as an analytical tool to examine the relationships among Creative Leadership, IWB, CRM, and Strategic Agility.Finding/Result: The findings revealed that Creative Leadership had a positive and significant impact on both Innovative Work Behavior (IWB) and Creative Resource Management (CRM). Additionally, IWB and CRM significantly mediated the relationship between Creative Leadership and Strategic Agility. This indicated that Creative Leadership not only directly enhanced organizational adaptability but also established a crucial foundation for innovation and creative resource management.Conclusion: The study underscores the importance of Creative Leadership in promoting Strategic Agility through the mediating effects of IWB and CRM. These results provide valuable insights for startup leaders and practitioners on optimizing creative leadership, stimulating innovative work behavior, and building responsive resource management strategies.Originality/Value (State of the Art): This study contributes to the theoretical understanding of the intricate relationships within the startup context. By involving a significant sample and employing sophisticated analytical tools, it offers practical guidance for developing strategic policies and actions that support the growth and sustainability of startups in a dynamic business environment. Abstract

The background of the community service program is to provide alternatives to the community regarding household waste management. Waste is a common problem that must be solved together. One alternative to managing waste that can be used as an economical product is the use of eco enzyme. Eco enzyme has several benefits, including: 1) household organic waste will be reduced, 2) eco enzyme products can be used as a substitute for chemical cleaning products, 3) healthier because it is natural, and 4) saving routine family expenses to buy chemical cleaning products. As a result of this community service program, the participants can utilize household waste as raw material for making products with economic value and add creative ideas for future business opportunities.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meninjau secara sistematis penelitian yang ada terkait inertia organizational. Studi ini menyoroti isu utama dengan temuan dari penelitian terdahulu terkait yang memoderasi, yang dimoderasi, dan konsekuensi dari inertia organizational. Penelitian ini mencari penelitian yang membahas inertia organizational dan diterbitkan dari tahun 2000 sampai dengan 2023. Secara total artikel yang ditemukan berjumlah 26. Artikel yang dinilai memenuhi syarat untuk dijadikan sebagai bahan kajian berjumlah 19. Metode semi systematic literature (SSLR) digunakan dalam penelitian ini, untuk melakukan identification, screening, dan eligibility. Sumber pencarian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penerbit Emerald. Temuan dari artikel ini adalah inertia organizational memiliki dampak positif, tetapi juga dapat memiliki dampak negatif pada organisasi. kedua hal tersebut tergantung pada kemampuan Perusahaan atau organisasi dalam menyikapi organizational inertia yang dimiliki dan faktor-faktor lain yang dapat mendukung atau justru akan melemahkan. Sembilan belas artikel yang dikaji lebih banyak menjadikan organizational inertia sebagai variabel moderasi dan anteseden daripada variabel dependen. Belum ditemukan artikel yang mengkaji anteseden dari organizational inertia. Kemampuan adaptasi dan inertia merupakan hal yang datang silih berganti. Implikasi dari penilitian ini para pemimpin organisasi harus dapat memastikan secara tepat kapan suatu organisasi dapat beradaptasi dan kapan suatu organisasi harus mempertahankan inertia.

Abstract

Artikel ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengkaji occupational stress dan religosity terhadap employee engagement melalui work life balance di kalangan para pekerja generasi millenial dan generasi Z. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 318 orang, yang adalah karyawan non-managerial di Kota Surabaya. Data dibagikan melalui google form dan diolah menggunkan structural equation modelling (SEM) dengan program LISREL. Hasil olah data menyatakan bahwa occupational stress berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap work life balance, religiosity memiliki pengaruh signifikan dan negatif terhadap work life balance, work life balance tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap employee engagement, occupational stress memiliki pengaruh signifikan dan negatif terhaap employee engagement, religiosity memiliki pengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap employee engagement, occupational stress tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap employee engagement melalui work life balance, dan religiosity tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap employee engagement melalui work life balance. This article aims to examine work stress and religiosity on employee engagement through work life balance among millennial and generation Z workers. The study sample consisted of 318 people, who are non-managerial employees in the city of Surabaya. Data was shared via google form and processed using a structural equation model (SEM) with the LISREL program. The results of data processing stated that work stress had a significant positive effect on work life balance, religiosity had a significant and negative effect on work life balance, work life balance had no effect on employee engagement, work stress had a significant and negative effect on employee engagement, religiosity had an influence significant and positive on employee engagement, work stress has no effect on employee engagement through work life balance, and religiosity has no effect on employee engagement through work life balance. The practical implications of this research are related to the need for human resource management with the concept of family-friendly This concept will help build a comfortable atmosphere at work, which will ultimately have an impact on the engagement of millennial and generation Z workers.
