Abstract

Patients with diabetes mellitus may arise anxiety that needs treatment in a comprehensive physical, psychological and social. Social support can affect the psychological anxiety by regulating the process. The purpose of research was analyze the relationship between social support and the level of anxiety in patients with diabetes mellitus. Croos sectional study design used by the respondents as many as 30 patients with purposive sampling technique. Data was collected by using a questionnaire DSKS  and KMKS. The results showed that nearly half of respondents have a social support in both categories by 40% and the level of anxiety in the category was 56.7%. Based on the test results of Spearman's correlation p value = 0.000, r = 0.737, which means there was a strong relationship between social support and anxiety in patients with diabetes mellitus. Social support involves emotions and a positive assessment on the individual in the face of the problem. This support is very influential for individuals to adapt and interact with their environment. Social support can be obtained from family members, friends, relatives and caregivers who are external sources that can provide relief to the patient in dealing with and facing an issue especially concerning the illness.

Abstract

Istirahat tidur merupakan kebutuhan dasar manusia yang wajib dipenuhi setiap anak usia dini dengan kebutuhan yang berbeda–beda sesuai dengan usinya. Dalam tidur terdapat suatu kegiatan yaitu fisik yang minimal untuk beraktivitas, variasi tingkatan kesadaran, proses fisiologi yang berubah dan rangsangan dari luar yang kurang direspon sesuai dengan  pola tidur setiap anak sesuai dengan kebutuhanya  Saat tidur berlangsung terdapat perubahan gambar EEG (elektro ensefalografi) dan berdampak terhadap perubahan sistem persyarafan, sistem pernafasan dan sistem endokrin. Tidur sangat bermanfaat bagi kesehatan tubuh. Diantara fungsinya adalah restorasi (pemulihan) dapat dicapai dengan tidur yang cukup yaitu fungsi tidur dalam mempertahankan kesegaran tubuh. Berbagai keluhan fisik seperti kelelahan, hipersensitif terhadap rasa ketidaknyamanan atau nyeri, penurunan psikomotor, emosi tidak stabil, gangguan memori dan konsentrasi yang menurun dikarenakan tidur yang kurang. Anak yang tidak tercukupi kebutuhan tidurnya dapat mengalami perubahan perilaku serta emosi dan menurunkan imunitas anak yang dapat mempengaruhi pada pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak.

Abstract

Pembelajaran gerak dan lagu adalah salah asatu cara yang dilakukan guru dalam menyajikan materi pembelajaran dalam tema. Hal tersebut memudahkan peserta didik dalam mengingat tema dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk  mendeskripsikan pembelajaran gerak dan lagu untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan kinestetik anak. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan studi kasus. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Sedangkan keabsahan data dengan menggunakan trianggulasi teknik dan sumber. Berdasarkan penelitian didapatkan bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran gerak dan lagu untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan kinestetikanak dengan mengadakan rapat kerja yang sudah diprogramkan diawal sebelum pembelajaran berlangsung untuk membahas program tahunanm semester gdan harian dan tema, model, media apa yang tepat untuk dilakukan dalam pembelajaran. pelaksanaan pembelajaran gerak dan lagu, guru melakukan tiga pelaksanaan yaitu pembukaan, inti, penutup. evaluasi yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan catatan anekdot, ceklis, dan hasil karya, dengan melihat perkembangan dan kemajuan yang dicapai individual anak. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, gerak dan lagu, kecerdasan kinestetik

Abstract

Peran perawat dalam memberikan pelayanan tidak hanya melakukan perawatan kepada pasien, tetapi mampu membuat karya tulis ilmiah sebagai salah satu bentuk karya nyata menjalankan peran perawat sebagai peneliti. Untuk menghasilkan karya ilmiah ini masih banyak perawat yang mengalami kesulitan dan hambatan karena pengetahuan dan kemampuan meneliti sehingga perlu ditingkatkan. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk menambah kemampuan dan kompetensi sebagai peneliti. Berdasarkan peraturan menteri pendayagunaan aparatur negara dan reformasi birokrasi, perawat yang akan naik ke jenjang jabatan fungsional yang lebih tinggi diwajibkan membuat karya ilmiah. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 40 orang perawat yang sebagian besar memiliki latar belakang pendidikan sarjana keperawatan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan selema 4 minggu dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan praktek. Proses pelatihan dilakukan menggunakan 4 tahap kegiatan yaitu pemberian materi tentang metodologi penelitian kuantitatif, praktek penelitian, pemberian materi tentang cara penulisan artikel ilmiah dan praktek menulis artikel ilmiah. Peserta di bimbing oleh fasilitator secara langsung melalui tatap muka maupun secara online. Dengan metode ini peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan serta keterampilan sesuai dengan target yang telah disepakati bersama. Untuk mendapatkan hasil yang baik pada pelatihan ini diperlukan komitmen bersama antara peserta dan fasilitator agar target kompetensi pelatihan yang telah disepakati dapat tercapai.

Abstract

Early childhood education institutions with a lack of health standards can be a medium for disease transmission. This transmission leads to a decline in health status and the level of children's development. Preschool children often suffer from several infectious diseases such as chickenpox, diphtheria, measles, mumps, hepatitis B, influenza, pulmonary tuberculosis, impetigo, and diarrhea. These diseases can be transmitted through direct or indirect contact such as respiratory tract, digestion, and skin. Disease transmission can occur during interactions between children and children, children and teachers, and children and the environment around the school. The risk of disease transmission can be reduced by implementing prevention strategies for disease transmission, that is, by creating a healthy environment of the educational institution, keeping hands clean, providing handwashing facilities, implementing cough ethics, and increasing the role of teachers and parents to establish children's clean and healthy living behavior. These strategies can work well if they are supported and carried out by the manager, teachers, children, educational personnel, and parents. The strategies are expected to improve the health status of children, so they can achieve growth and development by their stages.

Abstract

Gangguan pendengaran pada anak usia dini mempengaruhi proses perkembangan anak. Dampak yang ditimbulkan menyebabkan gangguan dalam berbahasa, perubahan kepribadian, sikap, kemampuan berkomunikasi, kepekaan terhadap lingkungan, kemampuan kognitif, emosional dan kemampuan untuk melindungi diri sendiri. Gangguan ini disebabkan oleh faktor genetik maupun non genetik yang dapat muncul sejak lahir maupun di atas usia tiga tahun. Bayi yang memiliki riwayat kesehatan kurang baik cenderung memiliki gangguan pendengaran dibandingkan dengan bayi yang memiliki riwayat kesehatan yang sehat. Deteksi dini gangguan pendengaran perlu dilakukan pada anak usia dini sehingga pemberian intervensi lebih awal dapat dilakukan apabila ditemukan adanya gangguan pendengaran. Deteksi dan rehabilitasi dini yang tepat dapat meningkatkan perkembangan bicara dan berbahasa anak. Keterlambatan dalam melakukan deteksi dini akan menimbulkan keterlambatan untuk memulai intervensi dan berdampak negatif dalam perkembangan anak selanjutnya. Deteksi gangguan pendengaran dilakukan dengan menggunakan rangsangan bunyi sejak bayi dan menggunakan alat audiometer pada anak usia di atas 48 bulan sesuai dengan tahapan pertumbuhan dan perkembanganya. Deteksi dini gangguan pendengaran dilakukan dengan cara mengamati reaksi anak terhadap suara atau tes fungsi pendengaran dengan metode dan peralatan yang sederhana. Deteksi ini dapat dilakukan oleh guru, tenaga kependidikan, orang tua ataupun petugas kesehatan Kata kunci: deteksi gangguan pendengaran, usia dini Hearing loss in early childhood affects the child's development process. The impact caused by language disorders, changes in personality, attitudes, communication skills, sensitivity to the environment, cognitive abilities, emotional and ability to protect yourself. The purpose of this study is to explain the detection of hearing loss in early childhood. The research method used is descriptive literature research. The results of this study stated that hearing loss in early childhood is caused by genetic and non-genetic factors that can arise from birth or over the age of three years. Babies who have a poor health history tend to have hearing loss compared to babies who have a healthy health history. Early detection of hearing loss needs to be done in early childhood so that early intervention can be given if hearing loss is found. Appropriate early detection and rehabilitation can improve children's speech and language development. Delay in early detection will cause delays to start interventions and have a negative impact on further child development. Detection of hearing loss is carried out using sound stimulation since infancy and using an audiometer in children over 48 months according to their stages of growth and development. Early detection of hearing loss is done by observing the child's reaction to sound or hearing function tests with simple methods and equipment. Abstract

Indonesia has 9.47% of the total plant species in the world. Plants of various kinds are a gift from God to be chosen and used as a cure for many diseases. The high biodiversity of plants also supports the development of traditional elements of society which are reflected in their use, especially as medicines. This study aims to explain the use of traditional medicine to maintain the immune system from ethnobotany and thibbun nabawi. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research involving key informants. The data was obtained by snowball sampling and analyzed by inductive technique. This study revealed that the people of Tiris used 18 types of natural medicines to maintain body immunity during the pandemic. People also used other minerals such as honey, eggs, and eucalyptus oil for herbs. The highest used value (UV) is 0,70, namely temu kunci (Boesenbergia pandurata), and the result of calculating the ICF value for this natural medicine is 0,68. This utilization is an effort to deal with a pandemic by thibbun nabawi, using herbs and honey.

Abstract

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) play a crucial role in modern business, especially for entrepreneurs who rely on innovation and creativity to remain competitive. IPR encompasses copyrights, patents, trademarks, and industrial designs that protect intellectual works and grant exclusive rights to their owners. However, awareness and understanding of the significance of IPR still pose significant challenges. A lack of knowledge about IPR can lead to economic losses due to copyright infringement and piracy, which in turn impedes business growth and innovation. Enhancing awareness and the implementation of copyright laws through training is an effective strategy to protect entrepreneurs' creative assets. This training provides an in-depth understanding of the importance of IPR, the registration process, and methods for protecting and enforcing copyrights. Conducted online via Zoom Meeting, the program involves preparation, execution, and evaluation phases. Results show enthusiastic and active participation from 70 attendees, including students, entrepreneurs, SME operators, and the general public. Data indicate that the training is most popular among individuals aged 20-25 and students, who constitute 76% of the participants. Evaluations demonstrate a significant increase in participants' knowledge, aiding them in protecting their creative assets, fostering innovation, and reducing legal conflicts related to copyrights, thus supporting a healthier business ecosystem.

Abstract

Individuals diagnosed with diabetes mellitus require a multi-faceted approach to treatment. Key aspects of self-care for these patients include maintaining a proper diet, engaging in regular physical activity, adhering to prescribed medications, consistently monitoring blood glucose levels, caring for the legs, and managing smoking habits. Among the therapeutic interventions used in nursing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is noteworthy. The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of CBT on self-care behaviors in patients with Type 2 diabetes mellitus. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design, this study implemented a pre and post-test control group methodology. A total of 32 participants were selected based on specific criteria and probability sampling methods were employed to determine the sample. Data was gathered using the Summary of Self-Care Diabetic Activity questionnaire. Findings from the study indicate that CBT significantly enhanced dietary compliance (p-value = 0.02), increased physical activity (p-value = 0.001), and improved independent blood glucose monitoring (p-value = 0.003). Additionally, CBT enhanced adherence to medication (p-value = 0.004), leg care (p-value = 0.004), and reduced smoking behaviors (p-value = 0.021). CBT effective in enhancing various self-care activities among diabetic patients by fostering changes in mindset and encouraging positive behavioral shifts
