Kesehatan Kerja melindungi pekerja dari terjadinya Penyakit Akibat Kerja yang diatur Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 88 Tahun 2019. Pekerja kafe pada umumnya menerapkan Kesehatan Kerja demi terhindarnya Penyakit Akibat Kerja dari pelanggan dan/atau pekerja lainnya. Pada kafe hewan piaraan, pekerja harus melindungi kesehatannya dari Zoonosis. Penulis kemudian merumuskan: (1) Bagaimana pedoman pelindungan kesehatan kerja di lingkungan kerja kafe hewan piaraan di Kota Malang demi mencegah terjadinya zoonosis? (2) Bagaimana upaya pelindungan kesehatan kerja bagi para pekerja kafe hewan piaraan di Kota Malang demi mencegah terjadinya zoonosis? Penulisan ini menggunakan metode sosio-legal dengan pendekatan yuridis-sosiologis. Data primer diperoleh dengan wawancara dan observasi di kafe hewan piaraan di Kota Malang serta ahli Ilmu Kesehatan Masyarakat Veteriner. Data sekunder dari dokumen-dokumen dan studi pustaka peraturan perundang-undangan. Penulis mengemukakan hasil, bahwa: (1) Pedoman Kesehatan Kerja kafe hewan hewan piaraan di Kota Malang dalam bentuk perintah lisan oleh Pengurus dan/atau Pengusaha, dan mengadakan pelatihan setiap minggu/dua minggu sekali. Demi optimalisasi peningkatan derajat kesehatan pekerja, kafe hewan piaraan wajib membuat pedoman dengan Rencana K3, melaksanakan evaluasi kinerja K3, dan pelaksanaan pencatatan dan pelaporan jika terjadi Kecelakaan dan Penyakit Akibat Kerja. (2) Upaya pelindungan Kesehatan Kerja wajib berdasarkan Standar Kerja dalam pencegahan Penyakit Akibat Kerja. Penerapan Kesehatan Kerja kafe-kafe hewan piaraan di Malang berfokus kepada peningkatan derajat kesehatan hewan piaraan. Upaya pelindungan Kesehatan Kerja perlu memprioritaskan kesehatan para pekerja, terutama pekerja berisiko tinggi. Upaya Kesehatan Kerja wajib didasarkan oleh pedoman tertulis agar mencegah hambatan-hambatan di kelanjutan. Kata Kunci: Kesehatan Kerja, Kafe Hewan Piaraan, Zoonosis Abstract All workers are entitled to the right to a safe and healthy working environment. Occupational health protects workers from diseases caused at work, which is governed in Government Regulation Number 88 of 2019. Pet café is where pets are around. Workers at this café generally implement the occupational health principle to get protected from diseases transmitted by customers and/or other workers. In a pet café, workers are required to protect themselves from zoonoses. Departing from this issue, this research aims to delve into (1) how are the guidelines for the protection of workers at pet café implemented in Malang city to protect them from zoonoses? (2) what measures are to be taken to assure occupational health for workers working at pet café in Malang city to protect them from zoonoses? This research was conducted based on socio-legal methods and socio-juridical approaches. The primary data were obtained from interviews with an expert in veterinary health science and observation at a pet café in Malang city. The secondary data were obtained from relevant documents such as studies and legislation. The research results discover that (1) the guidelines for the protection of occupational health for those working at a pet café in Malang city were not made in writing but the instructions are given in utterances by the person in charge and/or business people. Training is conducted every week/once in two weeks. To optimize the improvement of health levels among workers, pet cafes must set guidelines for the planning of occupational health for workers, evaluate the performance of this program, and record and report the matter in case of accident or diseases happening and transmitted at work, (2) the measures to protect the health of the workers must be taken pursuant to job standards in terms of prevention of diseases caused at work. The implementation of occupational health in pet cafes in Malang is more focused on the improvement of the health levels of pets. The measures taken must focus on the health of workers, especially those as high-risk employees, and be according to the written guidelines ensuring that further issues will not take place.
