Abstract

The development of children's creativity has not developed optimally, this can be seen from children's activities in generating new ideas and problem solving that have not been seen. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of inquiry-based collage activities using colored shells on the development of early childhood creativity. This type of research uses quantitative methods with a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study were all students in Adzkia Air Bangis Kindergarten with a sample of 60 students which included 30 students in B1 and 30 students in B2. Data collection techniques in this study is by observation. The data analysis technique used normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing, namely the independent sample test. Based on the results of this study, it was found that in the normality test the data were normally distributed with a significant value of Kolmogrov-Smirnov in each class, namely 0.05. In the homogeneity test, it was found that the value based on the mean was 0.789 0.05, which means the data is homogeneous. Meanwhile, in hypothesis testing, the value of sig (2 tailed) is 0.001 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that inquiry-based collage activities using colored shells have an effect on the development of creativity in early childhood

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, various policies related to learning implementation procedures were launched by the government at various levels of education, including the PAUD level. This policy aims to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 and the continuity of education during the pandemic. This study aims to analyze the implementation of education in PAUD based on government circulars/policies regarding the application of learning during the pandemic through the CIPP evaluation model. This research is qualitative research with the CIPP evaluation model method. The evaluation of the CIPP model has four interrelated components, namely the evaluation of Context, Input, Process and Product (CIPP). The subject of this research is PAUD-KB Nurfajrin. The research results on the context aspect, the application of learning during the pandemic was due to individuals having to keep their distance to prevent transmission. In the input aspect, the implementation of learning is by government policy. Teachers and parents receive assistance from the government for the fulfilment of facilities and infrastructure. Therefore, teachers and parents can work well together, and children are well prepared. In the process aspect, learning during the Covid-19 pandemic went well. Lastly, on the product aspect, during the learning process during the pandemic, there were no students, parents or teachers who were positive for Covid-19. In addition, during learning during the pandemic, children also experienced good development.

Abstract

Regulasi emosi merupakan kemampuan penting dalam perkembangan sosial emosional yang mendukung kemampuan anak dalam berinteraksi dan menyesuaikan diri. Meskipun penelitian tentang regulasi emosi sudah banyak dilakukan, kajian yang secara khusus mengeksplorasi praktik dukungan guru terhadap regulasi emosi anak dalam pendidikan anak usia dini di tingkat lokal masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi perkembangan regulasi emosi anak serta peran guru dalam mendukung regulasi emosi anak di taman kanak-kanak wilayah Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif kontekstual dengan teknik purposive sampling. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 15 guru pada 5 TK di Kota Padang yang memiliki pengalaman mengajar minimal tiga tahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan analisis tematik dengan triangulasi sumber dan metode untuk memastikan kredibilitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa regulasi emosi anak usia dini masih berkembang dan ditandai dengan ekspresi emosi yang cenderung spontan. Namun, dukungan guru melalui pendekatan berbasis empati, penguatan positif, dan pemberian label emosi membantu anak secara bertahap mengenali serta mengelola emosinya. Temuan penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam memperkaya pemahaman praktik dukungan emosional di lingkungan PAUD, sekaligus menegaskan peran strategis guru sebagai co-regulator dalam proses perkembangan regulasi emosi anak.
