AIR SEBAGAI ALAT PENGENDALI IKLIM MIKRO DALAM BANGUNAN Studi Kasus : Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa, Hotel Sheraton Mustika Yogyakarta Hendrawati, Dyah

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with wet tropical climate has constraints in obtaining thermal comfort because of the high air temperature, high air humidity and lower air speed. Modification of the microclimate might be conducted by increasing the cooling effect in a passive manner. Water can be used as one of control strategy thermal to build the microclimate or to site. Water also played an important role in lowering temperature and raise humidity in a room in building.Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa, which is located in Yogyakarta,is one of building that implementing water as thermal control by making pool in door. This research aims to understand the influence of water in controlling the micro climate and the anything influence it .This research uses the quantitative methods by conducting observation and measuring temperature and humidity directly to the research objects. Secondary data is needed in this research. There was also  literature review on the stuff that supports research, and a literature study was  also conducted. The research and analysis on the results shows that 1 .The room in Tamansari royal heritage spa still in comfort zone in thermal .2 .The volume of water affects temperatures and humidity room 3 .Distance is a significant factor. Indonesia yang merupakan negara dengan iklim tropis basah, mempunyai kendala dalam memperoleh kenyamanan termal, yaitu suhu udara tinggi, kelembaban udara tinggi dan kecepatan udara rendah. Modifikasi iklim mikro dapat dilakukan salahsatunya dengan meningkatkan efek pendinginan secara pasif.Air bisa digunakan sebagai salah satu strategi pengendali thermal pada iklim mikro suatu bangunan atau site.Airjuga berperan penting dalam menurunkan temperatur dan menaikkan kelembapan pada suatu ruangan dalam bangunan.Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa yang terletak di Yogyakarta, merupakan salah satu bangunan yang menerapkan air sebagai pengendali thermaldengan membuat kolam renang in door.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh air dalam mengendalikan iklim mikro dan faktor apasaja yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif , dengan cara melakukan observasi dan mengukur suhu serta kelembapan langsung ke objek penelitian. Data sekunder sangat diperlukan dalam penelitian ini, maka dilakukan pula studi literatur terhadap hal-hal yang mendukung penelitian tersebut.Data dan hasil analisa pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1.Ruang-ruang oada Tamansari Royal Heritage spa masih dalam zona nyaman secara termal.2. Volume air sangat mempengaruhi suhu dan kelembaban ruangan 3.Jarak menjadi faktor yang signifikan.

Abstract

Desa Jatimalang Desa Jatimalang, Kecamatan Purwodadi, Kabupaten Purworejo, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Desa Jatimalang terletak di sekitar Pantai Jatimalang sehingga desa ini memiliki kondisi cuaca yang panas dan lembab. Desa Jatimalang memiliki Pantai Jatimalang yang menjadi dae­rah tujuan wisata yang potensial. Pantai Jatimalang adalah pantai yang memiliki lokasi paling baik di antara pantai yang ada di Kabupaten Purworejo. Pantai Jatimalang ini juga termasuk dalam Kawasan Bahari Terpadu (KBT), sesuai dengan rencana strategi tata ruang nasional dan rencana tata ruang wilayah propinsi Jawa Tengah bagian selatan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat setempat, pengelola dan Dinas terkait dalam pengembangan potensi wisata pantai Jatimalang yang menyebabkan kurang maksimalnya tata ruang wilayah pantai Jatimalang. Oleh karenanya dibutuhkan suatu solusi untuk mendesain tata ruang untuk bersama masyarakat dan pengelola untuk memaksimalkan potensi wisata di Kabupaten Purworejo. Kehadiran mahasiswa KKN UII bertujuan untuk mendorong dan mengotimalkan potensi wilayah Pantai Jatimalang agar terjaga kesinambungan pengelolaannya terutama dalam tata ruang wisata. Solusi yang dibuat untuk menyelesaikan masalah adalah membuat re-desain tata ruang (site plan) dan pengelolaan wisata secara terpadu.

Abstract

The existence of religious sites is currently very popular among the community, so that the existence of this religious site is not only a site to be visited as a destination for takziyah but also along with the development of the existing religious sites can provide other economic values, namely as a medium for preaching and trading.One such religious site is located in Benowo Village, Bener District, Purworejo Regency. namely the Prince Benowo site which became the forerunner to the existence of Benowo Village in Purworejo Regency. Prince Benowo is the son of the king of the Pajang kingdom named sultan Hadiwijaya or better known as Jaka Tingkir, where during the Dutch colonial period around 1600 AD Prince Benowo and his followers stepped aside or took refuge somewhere on the way from the Pajang kingdom to the Mataram kingdom and stopped at Menoreh Mountains, to be precise on a hill called Batur, which is currently known to the general public as Benowo Village.Prince Benowo's petilasan is currently being used as religious tourism which can be a special attraction for tourists to visit Benowo village. Tourists can see the historical value of the existence of Prince Benowo's petilasan, including the existence of the sendang used by the followers of Prince Benowo for drinking and cleaning, as well as items used by Prince Benowo's entourage, including ceramic plates, stone bowls, umbrellas, and etc.The existence of special religious interest tourism has made the managers of the Benowo tourism village start to improve by optimizing the existing tourism potential, both natural, cultural and artistic tourism to be able to attract more tourists to visit Benowo tourism village. The weaknesses of the development of this religious tourism village in Benwo Village are 1) There is no development plan for the development of existing religious tourism potential, and 2) Prince Benowo Religious Tourism has not been managed properlyBased on the above problems, the service and partners will solve the above problems through planning training activities for the development of religious tourism, Prince Benowo, and 2) Assistance in the management of religious tourism through strengthening human resources. Abstract

Natural ventilation is applied to most educational buildings in Indonesia. Natural ventilation is one of the strategies to achieve the physical comfort of residents and an effort to save energy. During a pandemic, natural ventilation requires because it is expected to make the air circulation in the room. The presence of good air circulation will make the spread of the virus can be avoided. One indicator of the success of space for good and healthy air circulation is the achievement of Air Change per Hours (ACH) values according to standards. The study aims to find out and identify the performance of natural ventilation as an element that determines indoor air circulation against the spread of the covid 19 viruses, comfortable air velocity in a room and user capacity. The study used simulation methods to determine the value of ACH and air velocity. The research main goal was to look at the possibility of reopening schools as safely and quickly as possible. The results showed that the school buildings studied could be used for Pandemic and postpandemic times, indicated by ACH grades > 8 and air velocity in room 0.2-0.8 m/s. The building has an opening area of approximately 30% with an opening type that is able 45% wind flow. With the simulation obtained, to achieve health and comfort standards with 50% users, with certain air velocity conditions, the minimum opening area is 20% with 45% aperture type and 90% type.Keywords: ACH; natural ventilation; performance; window types

Abstract

A mosque is a place of worship oriented towards the Qibla, which for the Yogyakarta area is in the northwest direction, or 294.7°. The Qibla will affect the orientation and possibly the shape of the building. The northwest direction of buildings in Yogyakarta has a relatively high solar factor value. The orientation of the building and the dominant shape of the building towards the Qibla cannot be avoided by architects because of the rule of shafts during congregational prayers. This research is expected to find the practical orientation and layout of photovoltaic installations that function as shading, which can reduce solar heat radiation. It is hoped that the distinctive orientation of the mosque will have great potential to produce maximum renewable energy by installing solar/photovoltaic panels. The orientation has excellent potential for a mosque building to produce maximum renewable energy by installing photovoltaic (PV) panels in addition to the roof. This research aims to clearly and measurably determine the potential for renewable energy in an existing mosque, namely the Ulil Albab Mosque, Yogyakarta. The method used in this research is to carry out simulations on all facade orientations using FormIt software to find the most effective potential facades for installing PV. This research shows the most significant potential for installing photovoltaics without disturbing the performance of other buildings and getting optimal energy on the side west by producing 86,76 kWh/year. Abstract

Taman Wisata Opak terletak di Desa Ringinsari, Bokoharjo, Prambanan, Sleman, Yogyakarta, pada tepian Sungai Opak yang merupakan pertemuan tiga sungai dengan arus tenang. Kawasan ini memiliki potensi lanskap berupa sungai, sawah, dan hutan bambu dengan panorama langsung ke Taman Wisata Ratu Boko. Masyarakat telah berinisiatif mengembangkan kawasan secara swadaya sejak 2018, namun keterbatasan perencanaan membuat pemanfaatan potensi belum optimal. Permasalahan utama adalah ketiadaan arahan pengembangan yang komprehensif dan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan membantu masyarakat merancang masterplan kawasan wisata melalui pendekatan co-design, sehingga masyarakat terlibat aktif sejak perencanaan hingga penyusunan rancangan akhir. Hasil pengabdian meliputi dokumen masterplan, denah kawasan, prototipe bangunan berbasis material lokal, serta media promosi berupa video. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya menghasilkan desain fisik, tetapi juga meningkatkan kapasitas masyarakat dalam merawat dan mengelola kawasan wisata berbasis potensi alam dan budaya lokal.
