Abstract

Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn dengan menggunakan metode Discovery Learning dengan menggunakan media video pembelajaran. berjenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK).  Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri Binjai. Karena di SMP Negeri Binjai. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian tindakan kelas  dengan menggunakan tiga siklus yang terdiri atas empat tahapan yaitu: (a) perencanaan, (b) tindakan, (c) observasi dan Refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti untuk memperoleh informasi berupa observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Kriteria  Ketuntasan Minimal kelas VIII SMP Negeri Binjai adalah 73,00 maka standar ketuntasan individu dan standar ketuntasan klasikal akan diinterpretasikan sebagai berikut: a) Standar Ketuntasan Individu Secara perorangan (individual), dianggap telah “tuntas belajar” apabila daya serap siswa mencapai 73,00. b) Standar Ketuntasan Klasikal Secara klasikal, dianggap telah “tuntas belajar” apabila mencapai 80% dari jumlah siswa yang mencapai daya serap minimal 73. Hasil Penelitian Siklus I, II. III   dapat dilihat bahwa  telah terjadi ketuntasan peningkatan Ketuntasan belajar siswa, aktivivitas mengajar  guru,  dan aktivitas belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode Discovery Learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how parents perceive the influence of peers on the development and behavior of students at the primary school level. The background of this study is based on the important role of the social environment, especially peers, in shaping children's character, which cannot be fully replaced by the family environment. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection conducted through questionnaires distributed to 30 parents of elementary school students. The results showed that the majority of respondents (60%) considered peers to be very important and acknowledged a great influence on children's behavior (66.7%). However, the level of concern over potential negative impacts was also quite high, with 70% of respondents expressing great concern. These findings identify parents' awareness of the importance of social interactions for children's development, while also pointing to the need for active parental assistance. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of collaboration between families and schools in creating a healthy social environment, to support children's optimal character development.
