Abstract

This study is very helpful aerobic exercise against blood pressure in people with hypertension. This study used pre group and post randomized block design. The number of samples in this study were 30 respondents. Pre test performed before aerobic exercise. Intervention was administered for 10 weeks and then performed post test. Data were analyzed by using Wilcoxon test. The result showed that the average systolic blood pressure dropped after 10 weeks aerobic exercise was 10,71% with mean of sistol blood pressure drop 17 mmHg with p value = 0.000 <0,05, mean the decrease of diastole blood pressure equal to 9,31% With mean diastole blood pressure 9 mmHg with p value = 0.000 <0,05. Aerobic exercise can lower blood pressure sistole and diastole in people with hypertension done regularly. Keywords: exercise, hypertension

Abstract

Abstract Pravels of asthma sufferers worldwide increased from 235 million in 2011 to 334 million in 2014. (Global Asthma Network, 2014). This study aims to identify the most effective interventions of slow deep breathing exercise and deep breathing exercise for oxygen saturation changes in asthmatics. This research is Quasi Experiment with pre and post test group design randomise design. The population in this study were all asthma patients in the IGD room, the sample was 24 in the slow deep breathing exercise group with 5 times per minute for 3 minutes, 24 in the deep breathing exercise group with 6 minutes per minute for 3 minutes. The research instrument used pulse oximetry and observation sheet. Data were analyzed using paired sample t-test and mann whitney. From the research result, the median(minimum-maximum) value of oxygen saturation change in intervention group of slow deep breathing exercise was 1,00(1-3) while in the intervention group deep breathing exercise was 2,00 (1-4) (p = 0,027 <0,05) The change in oxygen saturation by using deep breathing exercise intervention is more effective than the intervention of slow deep breathing exercise ...

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between therapeutic communication of nurses and the emotional level of patients in the ICU Hospital A.M. Parikesit Tenggarong. Method: this study is a reporting study with a cross sectional study approach. Determination of samples based on inclusion criteria until the minimum number of samples is met, using Purposive sampling. The sample opened 53 people. Instrument in the form of a questionnaire sheet about the implementation of nurse communication and clear family level. Academic level questionnaire with standard Hamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety (HRS-A). Data were analyzed using chi square. Results: From the results of the study obtained p = 0.035, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between therapeutic communication of nurses with problems related to ICU AM Parikesit Tenggarong Hospital ICU, Odss Ratio (OR) = 3.974, meaning nurses whose therapeutic communication is not good, has 4 times chance to form a patient's family while having a relationship with a nurse who has good therapeutic communication. Conclusion: There is a therapeutic communication relationship between nurses and problems related to the ICU Hospital of A.M Parikesit Tenggarong Hospital.
