Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah menekankan pembelajaran yang merujuk pada hukum Islam. Kenyataan di lapangan bahan ajar yang digunakan belum bernuansa islami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bahan ajar yang selama ini digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi, mengetahui perlunya pengembangan buku saku bernuansa islami, mendeskripsikan karakteristik pengembangan buku saku bernuansa islami, serta menguji kelayakan dan efektifitas buku saku. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan rancangan penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Hasil penilaian ahli media, ahli materi biologi dan ahli materi agama menunjukkan bahwa buku saku bernuansa islami materi sistem reproduksi manusia sangat layak, dengan nilai kelayakan berturut-turut sebesar 97,08%; 91,78% dan 97,2%. Tanggapan siswa pada uji coba buku saku sebesar 98,75%.  Tanggapan guru terhadap buku saku mencapai 100%.  Persentase penanaman pendidikan karakter  berkisar antara 90,6-91,04. N-Gain dari kedua sekolah mencapai 0,7. Ketuntasan belajar klasikal siswa berkisar antara 89,7%-92%.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku saku bernuansa islami materi sistem reproduksi manusia layak dan efektif sebagai bahan ajar. Islamic senior high school emphasizes learning that refer to Islam. The reality in field of  learning material used yet nuanced islamic.The purposes of  this research are to identify the material of study that we used in biology, to know how important the develop of pocket book islamic nuanced,  to description  the characteristic to develop pocket book islamic nuanced, and to know feasibility and effectivity of  pocket book islamic nuanced. This research design was Research and Development (R & D). The results assessment of media specialist, materials biology specialist and  materials religion specialist showed that a pocket book islamic nuanced about human reproductive system was well worth  the feasibility percentage, respectively for 97,08%; 91,78% and 97,2%. The response of students  on product trial was 98,75%. The response of  teacher on product trial was 100%. The Percentage of cultivation character education on product trial was 90,6-91,04%. N-gain from both schools reached 0,7. Student classical learning completeness obtained 89,7-92%. Based on that research, we can conclude that pocket book islamic nuanced about human reproductive system are feasible an effective for use as a learning materials

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh penerapan metode Socratic Circles disertai media gambar pada pembelajaran materi ekosistem terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMP Negeri 6 Magelang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasy experimental. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas VII C (kelas eksperimen) dan VII E (kelas kontrol). Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Convinience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Peningkatan skor tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,41 (sedang) sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 0,22 (rendah). Hasil uji t menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft excel 2010 menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis kelas eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol dengan thitung (4,163) > ttabel (2,658). Berdasarkan analisis per aspek kemampuan berpikir kritis, kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik dibandingkan kelas kontrol hal ini terlihat dari nilai post-test. Tingkat keterlaksanaan metode Socratic Circles disertai media gambar mencapai 93,74% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Secara umum guru dan siswa juga memberikan tanggapan setuju terhadap pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran dengan metode Socratic Circles disertai media gambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi ekosistem di SMP Negeri 6 Magelang. Research was conducted to identify the effect of pictorial Socratic Circles method on Ecosystem teaching material upon the student’s critical thinking skills at Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 6 Magelang. This research used a quasy experimental design. Two classes were treated as a control and an experimental class. The samples were by a convenience sampling technique. The result indicated that the student’s critical thinking skills from the experimental class higher than the control class. The critical thinking test scores of the experimental class were increased by 0,41 (medium), whereas the control class was by 0,22 (low). The t-test showed that these figures was significantly different. Analysis showed that the student’s critical thinking skills of the experimental class were much better than one of the control class. The level of implementationpictorial Socratic Circles method was 93,74% (categorized as very good). In general, the teacher and students were also in an agreement about the applied method. The conclusion of this research, that pictorial Socratic Circlesmethod on Ecosystem teaching material was able to improve the students’ critical thinking skills at Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 6 Magelang.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to know the worthiness and the effectiveness of Envirokal (Environment of Pekalongan) booklet with problem-solving method in the lesson of environmental pollution against student’s learning outcome. The research is done at Senior High School 3 Pekalongan with a Research and Development (R&D) design, with 10 steps of research starting from the needs assessment, until obtaining the final product, i.e. booklet. The assessment done by the experts shows that the Envirokal Booklet obtained high scores as and it was concluded that the Envirokal Booklet was very effective to be used as learning material and could increase the individual score and classical completeness.

Abstract

Ecosystem is considered as a notional topic due to lack of material visualization. An effective learning media is needed to help student in learning ecosystem. There are some factors that make some schools are unable to conduct an outdoor learning, that can be overcome through the model of Team Games Tournament (TGT) as a learning method with Biodomino as a supporting learning media. This study was aimed to determine the effectiveness of TGT with Biodomino on student activity and learning outcomes in ecosystem. The method used was quasi experiment with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Result of this study showed that 100 percent of students participated in the experiment were in active category, with 81.25% of students got score of ≥77. It is concluded that learning the ecosystem unit by using TGT method with the help of Biodomino is an effective way to increase the student activity and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to discover and describe the effectiveness of 5E inquiry learning model by using interactive notebook on the subject of cell. It was a quantitative quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was the whole eleventh grade science students of SMA Negeri 1 Magelang. The researchers used simple random sampling which took the students from  Class Science 1 of eleventh grade as the experimental class and Class Science 3 of eleventh grade as the control class. In collecting the data, the researchers used the result of pre-test, post-test and the grades of students from experimental class (using interactive notebook) then the assessment of control class students’ laboratory work report performance. Normality test, homogeneity test, average difference test, the improvement of learning skill measurement, and classical completeness measurement were used for data analysis. The result shown that 5E Inquiry-Learning Model by Using Interactive Notebook   on the Subject ‘Cell’ was effective. It was proved by the average of both of classes (experimental class and control class) was significantly different (tcount (7.36) > ttable (2.00)). The difference was supported by the fact that the improvement of learning skill of experimental class students was better the control class students. For the experimental class, the improvement of student learning skill was categorized as medium (index gained 0.61) while control class’ was low (index gained 0.29). In addition, the experimental class had reached the classical completeness rate (the percentage was 87.89%) while the control class had not reached it yet (around 27.27%).

Abstract

Cells are the one of hard-to-understand material for students, because it cannot be seen directly by students therefore it requires detailed visualization of images to explain the structure and processes that occur in it. Adequate visualization is needed to study better the structure and function of cells. This is the reason why we need to develop a mobile learning media. The media is an E-atlas of cell structure and function. This product is then analyzed its suitability as a learning media in SMA N 1 Kandangserang. Students of classes XI MIA 1 and XI MIA 2 academic year 2018/2019 were selected as the samples of this research using saturated sampling techniques. This is a research and development (R & D). Research shows that E-atlas is suitable as learning media. E-atlas affects the learning outcomes, where the N-gain value shows an increase with an average of 0.72 (categorized as high) with classical completeness of 83%. It is concluded that E-atlas mobile learning is suitable as a teaching learning medium for students.

Abstract

Invertebrate learning process at SMA N 1 Rembang is dominated by one way learning where the learning process focus on the students in the class, so that it hasn?t made use of the enviroment around them and it hasn?t made the experiment because of the limitation of the media learning.. Because of it, the development of students worksheet which can guide students to do outdoor investigation is needed. The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of Invertebrate Identification Students Worksheet for X grade students of Senior High School. The method of this research was Research and Development (R & D) with product of Invertebrate Identification Students Worksheet for High School. Data collection of Students Worksheet for Coastal Invertebrate Identification through 4 stages, including preliminary study, planning, development, and LKS testing. It was found that Student Worksheet (LKS) in Invertebrate Identification is considered effective in supporting outdoor experiment with various assessment among others, quiding students to identify and classify coastal invertebrate.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan efektivitas modul IPA terpadu model connected berpendekatan inquiry.  Metod penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan yang diadaptasi dari Sugiyono 2010. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada penilaian tahap I modul mendapatkan skor rata-rata 100%. Penilaian kelayakan modul tahap II komponen kebahasaan adalah 2,83 untuk skor pertama dan 4 untuk skor setelah revisi. Kelayakan Komponen isi mendapatkan skor rata-rata  3,38 dari pakar pertama dan 3,53 dari pakar kedua. Komponen penyajian mendapatkan skor 3,40 untuk pakar pertama dan 3,0 untuk pakar kedua. Uji N-gain yang didapat secara klasikal sebesar 0,612279 dan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 85%. Simpulan yang dapat diperoleh adalah bahwa modul dikatakan layak untuk digunakan bedasarkan kriteria BSNP dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. The purpose of this research is to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the integrated  science module connected model with inquiry strategy in chemical moleccule theme on plant nutrition. This is a Research and Development study by adopting the theory from Sugiyono 2010. The results showed that in the first stage of assessment modules to get an average score of 100%. In the phase II feasibility assessment modules to get an average score of 2.83 for the components of language in the first assessment and 4 on the second assessment after revision. Feasibility of Content components to get an average score of 3.38 for the first expert and an average score 3,53 for the second expert. The feasibility Presentation components get a score of 3.40 for the first expert and 3.0 for the second expert. The average score of N-Gain test is  0.612279, and  the classical completeness 85%. The conclusion that the module is said to be feasible to use and effective for the increase of the output learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, mengetahui tingkat kelayakan, efektivitas, dan tanggapan guru dan siswa mengenai kepraktisan modul IPA Terpadu pada MPBM-PS Tema Carbon Cycle. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D). Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 32 Semarang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII H sebanyak 32 siswa untuk uji coba skala besar. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan modul digunakan instrumen angket. Keefektifan modul dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar diukur menggunakan instrumen tes pretest dan posttest. Kemudian tanggapan guru dan siswa diukur menggunakan instrumen angket. Hasil penilaian kelayakan modul pada tahap I menyatakan modul ”lolos” ke tahap penilaian berikutnya, yaitu penilaian kelayakan tahap II. Penilaian kelayakan tahap II didapat bahwa kelayakan komponen isi (substansi), penyajian, dan kebahasaan modul dikatakan “layak digunakan tanpa revisi”. Ketuntasan klasikal siswa mencapai 93.75 % dengan normalitas gain rata-rata sebesar 0.753 dan tergolong pada kriteria tinggi. Aktivitas dari 32 siswa, 31 siswa tergolong pada kriteria diatas baik. Guru dan siswa menilai kemodulan dan kepraktisan modul dengan kriteria sangat baik. Simpulan yang dapat diperoleh adalah Modul IPA Terpadu pada Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah–Pertanyaan Socratik (MPBM-PS) Tema Carbon Cycle layak digunakan dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. This study aims to develop, determine the feasibility, effectiveness, and the responses of teachers and students about the practicality of Integrated Science module on MPBM-PS Themes Carbon Cycle. Type of this study is the Research and Development (R & D). The experiment was conducted in SMP Negeri 32 Semarang. The sample in this study were students of class VII H as many as 32 students to large-scale trials. Samples were taken by random sampling technique. The instrument used to determine the feasibility of the module is a questionnaire instrument. The effectiveness of the module in improving learning outcomes were measured using the test instrument pretest and posttest. And then the teacher and student responses were measured using questionnaires. The results of the feasibility assessment module in stage I declare the module "passes" to the next stage of assessment, namely the phase II feasibility assessment. Phase II feasibility assessment found that the feasibility of the content component (substance), presentation, and linguistic module is said to "fit for use without revision". Classical completeness students achieve normality 93.75% with an average gain of 0.753 and belonging to the high criteria. Activity of 32 students, 31 students are belonging to the above criteria either. Teachers and students assess kemodulan and practicality module with the criteria very well. The conclusions of this study are the Integrated Science Module on Problem Based Learning Model-Socratic Questioning (MPBM-PS) Carbon Cycle Scene fit for use and effectively to increase the result of student learning.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This research aimed to analyze the implementation of the “Food Fight Game” Bioedutainment strategy on student’s learning achievement and student’s learning activities in ecosystem teaching material. The type of the research was Nonequivalent Control Group in a Quasi Experimental Design. The population in this research was all students of VII class at SMP Negeri 18 Semarang, and VII D class was treated as experimental class and VII C as control class. To collect data of students learning achivement a test was performed whereas student learning activities were collected by observation. Questionare was used to collect data of student response to the implementation of the “Food Fight Game” Bioedutainment strategy. The t-test has rejected H0 at α = 5 %. T-test result showed that there was a significant difference between both groups. The average of student activities in the experimental class achieved 79% while the control group was only 72%. The conclusion of this research was that implementation of strategy Bioedutainment using Food Fight Game had a positive effect on student’s learning achievement and student learning activities.
