Abstract

This research aims to describe the government's protection of the human rights of local communities in the tourism sector as stated in tourism law number 10 of 2009 concerning tourism. The method used in this journal is descriptive analysis, based on literature studies. This journal concludes that protecting the rights of local communities in the tourism business sector is something that needs attention. It has been stated in the statutory regulations implemented by the government itself regarding the obligations of companies to carry out their business in Indonesia. The inclusion of these regulations should be able to limit corporate efforts in practicing their business so that there are no violations of human rights. Apart from that, the relevant government also plays an important role in preventing things that could harm local communities.

Abstract

Tourism is indispensable for a country because it is one of the contributors to the country's foreign exchange. This study aims to determine the legal protection of tourists. The method used in the research is normative juridical with legal materials in the form of primary and secondary law, with analysis techniques using qualitative normative. In Indonesia, it is the second largest after the plantation commodity. Despite being the largest, there are several problems that occur related to safety and comfort in traveling such as price discrimination and street crime. Therefore, the Indonesian government is obliged to provide legal protection to all tourists so that no one suffers losses both in terms of tourists, local residents and the government.

Abstract

Legal protection refers to various legal efforts that must be provided by legal officials in order to provide a sense of security, both psychologically and physically from disturbances and various other threats. every organization provided considering the many tourists who experience theft, fraud, and other forms of criminal acts that threaten the safety of tourists. This research aims to see the extent of the government's efforts to protect tourists. The research method used is normative legal research, using a statutory approach. The data analysis method is in the form of normative analytics and literature. In the provisions of article 20 of the Tourism Law mentioned above, tourists have the right to obtain legal protection and security, protection of personal rights for tourism activities that have a major impact. What is regulated in the Tourism Law is the right of tourists, on the other hand it is an obligation of tourism entrepreneurs.

Abstract
