Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh locus of control internal dan locus of control eksternal terhadap kepuasan kerja pada PT Socfin Indonesia Medan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksplanasi, yaitu penelitian dapat dikaji menurut tingkatannya yang didasarkan kepada tujuan dan objek-objeknya. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan di seluruh bahagian pada PT Socfin Indonesia Medan. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Data diproses dengan menggunakan SPSS 20.0 for windows. Metode analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif dan metode kuantitatif yaitu dengan analisis Regresi Linear Berganda. Berdasarkan uji F variabel bebas (locus of control internal dan eksternal) secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel terikat (kepuasan kerja karyawan). Melalui pengujian koefisien korelasi (R) diperoleh bahwa tingkat korelasi atau hubungan antara locus of control internal dan eksternal terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan merupakan hubungan yang erat. Locus of control eksternal merupakan faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja karyawan PT Socfin Indonesia Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of implementing talent management which consists of workforce preparation, workforce development and workforce management on employee performance through employee engagement. Talent management is one of the important issues that has become a topic of conversation in the world of human resource management. This is a logical consequence of the limited availability of talent, while the need for them continues to increase. One of the signs of this era is increasingly fierce business competition, including the necessity for local companies to compete with companies from regional and even global environments. Every company wants to dominate business and market competition. In realizing this there are three assets that must be owned by a company, namely financial capital, products and labor, but among the three most important assets is the workforce they have. Companies must be able to get and retain the best employees.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work discipline, accessibility, and productivity on teacher performance at SMAN 4 Medan. The type of research used is quantitative research. The population used was all teachers at SMAN 4 Medan, which was 49 people and made the entire population into a sample, so that the number of research samples amounted to 49 people. Data collection techniques are carried out using questionnaires. The results showed that partially work discipline had a significant positive effect on teacher performance with a correlation of 0.317 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Partial accessibility did not have a significant positive effect on teacher performance with a correlation of 0.048 and a significance value of 0.371 > 0.05. Partial compensation had a significant positive effect on teacher performance with a correlation of 0.168 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Work discipline, accessibility, and productivity simultaneously have a significant positive effect on teacher performance with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. Determination shows a result of 0.623 meaning that work discipline, accessibility and productivity affect teacher performance by 62.3% of all factors that can affect teacher performance at SMAN 4 Medan

Abstract

In achieving good education knowledge is strongly influenced by the performance of teachers in carrying out their duties so that teacher performance becomes an important demand to achieve the success of educators. The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts in improving the teaching performance of teachers at SMAN 4 Medan. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with literature study research method. The results of this study explain that the factors that support the performance of teachers of SMAN 4 Medan such as, the effectiveness and efficiency of the performance of teachers of SMAN 4 Medan is less supportive of the learning system applied, Orientation and Responsibility of teachers of SMAN 4 Medan giving assignments/activities to their students is considered less on target, discipline in punctuality and work discipline, the initiative of teachers of SMAN 4 Medan in carrying out their duties is considered less good enough but teachers as much as possible carry out their goals as a teacher by always thinking positively and trying to attract students' interest in learning. Efforts to improve teacher performance can be done by coaching, supervising teacher work, providing motivation, and evaluating teacher performance.

Abstract

Karyawan milenial, atau sering disebut sebagai generasi Y, merujuk pada kelompok orang yang lahir sekitar tahun 1981 hingga 1996. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh komitmen dan loyalitas terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 65 karyawan. Instrument pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert yang masing-masing sudah diuji cobakan serta telah memenuhi syarat validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan alat bantu software SPSS 18.0 for Windows. Hasil penelitian secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa kemapuan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan, komitmen kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan, kerja sama tim berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa komitmen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan, loyalitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan. Komitmen kerja dan loyalitas berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap kinerja karyawan.
