Abstract

Leaders in organizations including company managers who have a goal to increase production and efficiency in order to maximize results for the organization they lead. A leader must be able to bring the organization or company and all its employees with a clear vision. Only with a clear vision, concepts and organizational goals can be described properly, but leaders must also be able to mobilize all resources within the company to move together and work together to achieve goals effectively. Leaders must have a clear vision in building and developing a business, especially those related to product quality improvement. A clear vision and mission of the company and implemented together is the key to the company's success to compete in the business world, such as PT. Inalum Coal North Sumatra which produces quality products and is able to compete in the world. The objectives of this study are 1) to determine the role of leadership in continuous improvement and its implications for the quality of the product division of PT. North Sumatra Coal Inalum; 2) to determine the factors that affect the improvement of product quality in the Division of PT. North Sumatra Coal Inalum. This research is a case study which was analyzed with a qualitative approach. This research shows that the role of leadership is very large in making continuous improvements so as to produce quality products that can compete in the business world on a national and international scale.

Abstract

The establishment of the BUMDes Bangun Mandiri Desa Bekiung aims to provide benefits to the village community and also to increase village income through the development of village potential carried out by BUMDes. There are several excellent programs that have been implemented well through BUMDes management, including Savings and Loans Unit Cooperatives, agriculture and animal husbandry. These programs aim to provide MSMEs with benefits to rural communities in improving their welfare. The development of the economic and trade sectors has also been carried out through the provision of rice and basic needs for rural communities. So, to support this program, a Village Micro, Small and Medium Unit (UMKM) is needed that can distribute village results obtained from the community so that it can increase village income. This activity is carried out in several stages, as follows: 1) The socialization stage which aims to provide information about MSMEs to the public through BUMDES; 2) Stages of mentoring and training related to marketing and promotion management, development of product processing and packaging. The results obtained in this PKM activity are increasing public understanding of the importance of MSMEs in developing village potential under the supervision of BUMDes so that village potential results can be promoted and creating separate business innovations such as processing animal feed through the cultivation of caterpillars and worms

Abstract

Kesehatan sebagai kebutuhan dasar manusia dalam menjalankan aktivitasnya, maka sangat penting dapat didukung sarana dan prasana yang berkualitas. Hal ini terkait dengan fungsi Puskesmas sebagai salah satu sarana yang memberikan pelayanan secara menyeluruh, terpadu dan berkesinambungan serta bertanggung jawab untuk menyelenggarakan upaya kesehatan perorangan dan upaya kesehatan masyarakat. Puskesmas sebagai pelayanan kesehatan tingkat pertama, maka dituntut untuk dapat memberikan pelayanan kesehatan yang berkualitas sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan kesehatan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, Puskesmas harus didukung oleh tenaga kesehatan sebagai sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang andal dan diharapkan dapat menyelenggarakan pelayanan kesehatan berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip manajemen yaitu perencanaan, penggerakan, pelaksanaan, pengendalian, pengawasan dan penilaian untuk menghasilkan output yang efektif dan efisien pada semua kegiatan di Puskesmas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas pelayanan kesehatan yang mengarah pada manajemen mutu Puskesmas di Kota Medan, dan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah pelayanan kesehatan di Puskesmas Kota Medan sudah cukup bagus dan memadai, namun masih perlu adanya peningkatan kompetensi dan kemampuan pada SDM Puskesmas terkait tata kelola Puskesmas.

Abstract

The oftenly issue that found in Toba Lake is the lack of facilities to support both foreign and domestic tourists. This convenience is related to culinary (food) availability in places of worship and hotels based on national standards. Since the majority visitors who come to Toba Lake are Muslims; thus it is very important to have a friendly-based tourism policy through good governance to create a superior tourist destination. This study aimed to determine the concept of policies to realize Muslim-friendly tourism toward Good Tourism Governance in Toba Lake area. The method in this study is a survey method with qualitative analysis. It showed the increasing of tourism standardization related to the tourists needs, especially for Muslim. It is concluded that tourism development oriented to GTG must have policies as directions and actions to realize the goals to be achieved; including Muslim-friendly tourism.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari lingkungan kerja non fisik, fasilitas kerja dan kepemimpinan terhadap kepuasan kerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil SMA Negeri 2 Binjai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan asosiatif-kuantitatif dengan model regresi linear berganda. Data penelitian diolah dengan SPSS 26.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lingkungan Kerja non Fisik, Fasilitas Kerja dan Kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan kerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil SMA Negeri 2 Binjai baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan. Lingkungan Kerja Non Fisik secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil SMA Negeri 2 Binjai, dimana nilai thitung Lingkungan Kerja Non Fisik 2,037 > 1,999 dan signifikansi 0,046 < 0,050, sehingga H1 diterima.Fasilitas Kerja secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil SMA Negeri 2 Binjai. Dengan nilai thitung Fasilitas Kerja sebesar 2,079 > 1,999, dan nilai signifikansi 0.042 < 0.050, sehingga H2 diterima. Kepemimpinan secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil SMA Negeri 2 Binjai, dimana nilai thitung Kepemimpinan sebesar 16,105 > 1,999 , dan nilai signifikan 0.000 < 0.050 sehingga H3 diterima. Lingkungan Kerja non Fisik, Fasilita Kerja dan Kepemimpinan secara bersama-sama (simultan) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil SMA Negeri 2 Binjai. Dimana nilai Fhitung > Ftabel , 123,922 > 2,755 pada signifikan 0,000 < 0,05, Maka hipotesis (H4) sebelumnya diterima. Dapat disimpulkan hipotesis H1, H2, H3, dan H4 terbukti benar dan dapat diterima karena hasil penelitian sejalan dengan hipotesis yang diajukan.

Abstract

Pentingnya strategi pengelolaan persampahan melalui fungsi actuating terletak pada kemampuannya untuk mengubah rencana dan kebijakan menjadi tindakan nyata yang dapat diukur dan dilacak. Melalui pendekatan ini, diharapkan dapat terbentuk sistem pengelolaan sampah yang efisien, transparan, dan terintegrasi, sehingga menciptakan lingkungan yang bersih, sehat, dan berkelanjutan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi pengelolaan persampahan melalui fungsi actuating dalam mewujudkan lingkungan bersih di Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Binjai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data wawancara dan analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Fungsi Actuating dalam Pengelolaan Persampahan di Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Binjai berjalan cukup baik dengan adanya motivasi berbentuk perintah secara langsung, himbauan yang sifatnya mengajak, peringatan, penambahan pendapatan, reward, hadiah, upaya melayani bawahan, dan selalu dibangkitkan semangatnya dalam bekerja. Perilaku hubungan yang baik antara pemimpin dan bawahan sudah cukup baik, berjalan sesuai dengan sasaran. Komunikasi yang digunakan oleh pimpinan kepada bawahan sudah berjalan cukup efektif berupa komunikasi secara langsung menggunakan lisan kepada bawahan hingga terjalin kerja sama yang baik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership, work motivation, and work environment on the performance of civil servants at Sma Negeri 2 Binjai, The research approach that is widely used in this study is quantitative research, This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Binjai located at Jl. Padang No.8, Rambung Dalam, Kec. Binjai Sel, the population in this study were teachers and educators with Civil Servant (PNS) status totaling 63 people, The sampling technique used in this study was saturated sampling where all populations were sampled, the analysis technique used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis, the results of this study are the Leadership variable has a positive and significant effect on the Performance of Civil Servants of SMAN 2 Binjai. The Motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on the Performance of Civil Servants of SMAN 2 Binjai. The Work Environment variable has a positive and significant effect on the Performance of Civil Servants of SMAN 2 Binjai. The independent variables consisting of Leadership ( ) , Motivation ( ) , and Work Environment ( ) , simultaneously have a significant influence on the performance of Civil Servants at SMAN 2 Binjai.
