Abstract

This research is a level 3 research and development (R&D) which aims to develop existing products. The product developed is the big book learning media which is then used as a means to improve the literacy science of students at MIN Bone. This research adopts Borg and Gall development research steps which include research and information gathering, planning, initial product development, conducting initial testing by media/design experts, material/content experts and learning practitioners, product revisions, conducting field trials, revisions the final product. There are three data collection techniques used in this study, namely validation carried out by the validator, effectiveness obtained through increasing literacy science and student responses to learning media. The results of the big book media validity test conducted by media/design experts are 85% with good qualifications, material/content experts are 91% with very good qualifications and learning practitioners are 91% with very good qualifications. The effectiveness of the big book media in improving literacy science. through the N-Gain 32 test which got a score of (g) 0.7 as many as 2  students, a value of 0.7 (g) 0.3 as many as 31 students, a value of (g) 0 ,3 as many as 2  students. The student response to the attractiveness of the big book media is 91% with very good qualifications.

Abstract

The aim of this scientific article research is to develop digital-based learning media in the form of an interactive e-booklet on the diversity of fish species and to determine the effect of using e-booklet learning media on the digital literacy of students at SMA Al Fattah Terboyo Semarang. This type of research is Research and Development (RnD). The author used a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design to identify the effect of treatment involving one group of subjects, namely the tenth-grade students of SMA Al Fattah Terboyo Semarang. Data were collected through digital literacy tests related to biology material and linked to digital literacy. The results of the study indicate that the use of e-booklets as learning media has a positive effect on improving students' digital literacy, as seen from the average pretest and posttest scores of the students, which increased from 65.83 to 81.50. This research suggests that further research can redevelop e-booklets into other interactive media to increase user involvement.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of Canva media in Indonesian language learning at MIN 2 Majene and to understand its impact on students' activities and comprehension. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with research subjects consisting of fifth-grade students and teachers. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, written tests (LKPD), student reflection questionnaires, and interviews. Data analysis techniques were conducted through qualitative data analysis with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results indicate that the use of Canva media is able to improve students' understanding, as evidenced by the increase in scores in most groups. In addition, Canva media also enhances students' engagement and learning motivation, which is evident from the high enthusiasm of students in learning activities, such as group quizzes and role playing. Reflection data shows that the majority of students feel happy, find it easy to understand the material, and have the desire to learn again using the same method. The use of Canva has proven to be effective in creating interactive, engaging learning that supports the improvement of students' learning outcomes.
