Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of cultural da’wah in strengthening religious moderation within the Muslim–Christian community in Tejowangi Village, Purwosari District, Pasuruan Regency. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The informants consist of Islamic religious leaders, Christian religious leaders, village officials, and local community members selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the socio-religious life of the Tejowangi community is harmonious and inclusive. The practice of cultural da’wah is reflected in cross-religious participation in various social and religious activities, including religious celebrations and local cultural traditions. Religious moderation is demonstrated through attitudes of tolerance, social solidarity, and acceptance of local cultural values within the community. In addition, religious leaders play an important role in maintaining social stability by promoting moderate and inclusive religious teachings. This study reveals that cultural da’wah significantly contributes to fostering social harmony within a multi-religious society.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the planning, implementation, and impact of Edpuzzle-based digital media on improving students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a field research design. The participants consisted of Islamic Religious Education teachers and tenth-grade vocational high school students. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The validity of the data was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings revealed that the planning stage included preparing learning materials, selecting instructional videos, creating digital classrooms, and designing interactive questions integrated into the videos. The implementation of Edpuzzle-based learning successfully created a more interactive, engaging, and student-centered learning environment. The use of Edpuzzle also contributed positively to students’ learning outcomes, as indicated by increased participation, stronger learning motivation, better understanding of learning materials, and improved evaluation results. These findings imply that Edpuzzle can serve as an innovative and effective digital learning medium in Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji perkembangan sejarah peradaban Islam di Nusantara, khususnya pada era Walisongo, sebagai landasan dalam memahami konsep Islam Nusantara yang moderat. Kajian ini penting untuk memberikan perspektif historis di tengah perdebatan mengenai identitas keislaman Indonesia. Melalui penelitian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan sejarah ketersediaan sumber, kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan historiografi serta analisis isi, penelitian menemukan bahwa Walisongo berhasil mengislamkan Jawa melalui dakwah damai dan akulturatif. Pendekatan mereka memadukan aspek saintek, seni, etika, dan spiritualitas sehingga dapat menjangkau masyarakat tanpa paksaan. Media budaya seperti wayang, gamelan, dan pesantren yang diadaptasi dari tradisi lokal menjadi instrumen penting. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa kemampuan Walisongo mengharmonikan ajaran Islam dengan nilai-nilai lokal membentuk karakter Islam Nusantara yang moderat (tawassuth), seimbang (tawazun), adil (i’tidal), dan toleran (tasamuh), yang tetap relevan hingga kini. Abstract

Islam pertama kali masuk ke Indonesia sudah ada budaya yang berkembang didalam masyarakatnya. Hal ini melahirkan sepenuhnya sama dengan wilayah aslinya di Timur Tengah. Tulisan ini membahas bagaimana ajaran Islam di Indonesia dilaksanakan dengan nuansa budaya lokal yang khas, melalui perpaduan antara nilai-nilai Islam dan tradisi masyarakat setempat. Di sisi lain, bagaimana persentuhan agama Islam dengan kebudayaan lokal Indonesia, terutama Sunda pun disosialisasikan melalui seni dan budaya, seperti pada lakon pewayangan orang Sunda mengandung nilai-nilai yang Islami. hukum dan ajaran dalam masyarakat dengan budaya sunda. Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa hampir seluruh ranah kehidupan media wayang golek meliputi Islam sebagai a way of life, termasuk ajaran dasar (wayang golek), lagu-lagu, pantun, dan banyolanbanyolan. Islam mengajarkan agar kita taat pada agama dan negara, serta memberi aturan tentang pemerintahan dan kehidupan bernegara. Ajaran Islam melalui pewayangan seringkali kesinambungan yang mencerminkan pemahaman atas perintah ketaatan kepada Allah, Rasul dan ûli al-amri sebagaimana diamanatkan dalam al-Quran.
