Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action research which aims to improve the learning outcomes of Basic Engineering (PDTM) students of Technology State Vocational Schools in the city of Makassar. The object of this research is the eleventh-grade students of Las Technological Vocational High School in Makassar city which includes 10 Vocational High Schools, 3 Vocational High Schools, and 5 Vocational Schools. The data collection technique that used is through giving a test at the end of each cycle according to the material previously taught in each cycle and direct observation of the implementation of the action. The results of this study identified an increase in quantitative student learning outcomes; this increase was seen in the average score of student learning outcomes in the XI class of Las Engineering Technology Vocational High School in Makassar, for each welding class. In the welding class SMKN 10, the initial test of 65 increased in the first cycle of 71.45 which was then followed by the action of the second cycle of 77.71. In the welding class of Vocational High School 3, the initial test results 65.38 increased in the first cycle to 71.75 and in the second cycle increased with the test results of 77.5. Welding class Vocational High School 5 initial test obtained 69.64 increased in the second cycle of 75.18 then in the second cycle results obtained increased 81.07 Qualitatively there was a change in the activeness and attention of students during the implementation of the action that increased the activity of students in doing tasks, fostering courage students express their opinions, and create a pleasant learning process for students of Technology State Vocational Schools in Makassar City

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan memperkuat profil Pancasila di kalangan pelajar Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Indonesia. Program ini didesain untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam tentang nilai-nilai Pancasila, serta mendorong implementasi praktis nilai-nilai tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Strategi pendekatan melibatkan Forum Group Discussion (FGD) dan bimbingan langsung kepada guru dan siswa. Kegiatan pelatihan mencakup pemahaman mendalam, workshop interaktif, studi kasus, simulasi, dan pembuatan proyek bersama. Langkah-langkah tindak lanjut termasuk pembentukan kelompok monitor, integrasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kurikulum, pengembangan program lanjutan, kolaborasi dengan orang tua dan komunitas, keterlibatan guru dan staf sekolah, serta evaluasi berkala. Hasil program menunjukkan perubahan positif dalam perilaku siswa dan hubungan baik antara siswa dan guru. Program ini juga memberikan kontribusi pada peningkatan hubungan sekolah-dunia industri. Artikel ini memberikan panduan bagi pengembangan program serupa di lembaga pendidikan vokasi. Evaluasi dan umpan balik berkala diimplementasikan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan perluasan dampak program ini dalam membentuk karakter siswa berdasarkan nilai-nilai Pancasila

Abstract

Training for teachers aims to ensure that educators have professional skills and can maximize the learning process in the classroom. Mechanical measuring instruments are tools used to measure various parameters in mechanics, such as length, angle, mass, speed, pressure and force, the measurement results determine the quality of a product. One measuring instrument that has a high level of accuracy is a micrometer. Training on the use and reading of measuring instruments is an effort to improve and refresh teachers' abilities in using micrometer measuring instruments. The micrometer that will be displayed is a measuring instrument that is more widely used in industry. This activity begins with: (1) Observation (2) Concept (3) Implementation (4) Evaluation (5) Further training. The result of this training was an increase in teachers' ability to use measuring instruments, as well as efforts by the school to equip facilities, especially measuring instruments, at the school.
