Abstract

Proses pembelajaran SKI di MAN 2 Bukittinggi pada umumnya masih menggunakan metode konvensional. Hal ini terlihat dari minat baca siswa dalam membaca buku SKI yang kurang, tidak adanya bahan bacaan singkat yang mudah dipahami oleh siswa, sehingga siswa cenderung pasif dan hanya mendengarkan. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah seberapa besar pengaruh penerapan model panduan membaca terhadap minat baca siswa kelas XI mata pelajaran SKI MAN 2 Bukittinggi?”. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis Quasi Experiment dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MAN 2 Kota Bukittinggi. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Cluster Sampling dimana kelas XI GPA2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPK1 sebagai kelas kontrol. Data penelitian tentang minat baca siswa diperoleh dari jawaban angket. Hasil penelitian, berdasarkan analisis data penelitian diketahui bahwa hasil angket minat baca siswa dalam pembelajaran SKI dihitung dengan menggunakan uji-t. Dari hasil tersebut jelas bahwa perhitungan yang diperoleh adalah H0 ditolak karena thitung = 5,20 lebih besar dari ttabel = 2,042. yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Lack of understanding of the purpose of the learning process, in the end, students only compete for the best grades regardless of how it is applied. Humanistic learning theory is a learning model that emphasizes humanizing students, taking into account meeting the needs of students in learning. Humanistic theory is a learning concept that explains how to humanize students and actualize all potential abilities of each learner to deal with changes in the surrounding environment. This theory assumesthat learning will not be meaningful if there is coercion in it. This paper attempts to examine humanistic learning theory and its implications for learning. The application of humanistic learning theory and its implications for learning can bedone by providing evidence of Islamic teachings, humanistic theory can be done with creative, active, fun, contextual, and cooperative learning strategies. The concept of humanistic learning theory is a learning process aimed at humanizing humans, learning success is marked when students recognize themselves and their environment well.
