Abstract

AbstractThis paper reveals the importance of the madrasah curriculum development through various contextual perspectives. Study of critical education occupies a position on a learner awareness efforts about the importance of continuity between theory and practice. Madrasah curriculum has a distinctive religions experienced difficulties in how religious subjects functioning integrative and relevant to the present conditions. Through literature review, it was found that the critical education can be used as an alternative in reconstructing the existing of madrasah curriculum. Critical education gives a basic framework and substantial how egalitarian, humanist education, and transformative it can be implemented. It is done with the four principles in the process of reconstruction of the madrasah’s curriculum, namely to minimize the gap between theory and practice in the sphere of organizing material, growing the awareness of educators and learners become critical educators and critical learners that achieved together, lead learners to realize the potential significantly, and the transmission of Islamic values through a hidden curriculum.Keywords: Madrasah Curriculum and Critical Education

Abstract

Tujuan peneliti ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah implementasi pembelajaran berbasis blended learning menggunakan whatsapp dapat meningkatkan self directed learning mahasiswa, mengubah mindset mahasiswa mengenai pentingnya self directed learning yaitu dengan tidak hanya mengandalkan pembelajaran tatap muka di kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian adalah Classroom action research model McKernan diadopsi dalam penelitian ini sebagai metode penelitian yang berisi tujuh tahapan yaitu penjabaran masalah, assessment kebutuhan, hipotesis gagasan, action plan, implementasi rencana, evaluasi dan keputusan-keputusan. Tahapan tersebut dilaksanakan setidaknya dalam dua siklus tindakan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, anecdotal record, dan self assessment. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menarasikan setiap hasil analisa data yang telah dilakukan reduksi, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasar penelitian yang sudah di laksanakan dapat di simpulkan bahwa mahasiswa mereka menjadi lebih siap dalam menerima pembelajaran, kesan teratur dan pendewasaan diri terlihat pada pembelajaran ini. Mahasiswa menjadi dapat mengontrol banyaknya pengalaman belajar yang terjadi dan dimiliki, perkembangan keahlian dan wawasan serta mengkaitkan materi satu sama lainnya, dapat mengubah diri pada kinerja/performansi yang paling baik, manajemen diri mahasiswa, dan motivasi diri dan penilaian diri. Hal ini sesuai dengan tujuan dari Self Directed Learning.

Abstract

This article aims to describe cultural reservation in Banjarpanepen Banyumas which is positioned as a mode for the application of religious moderation. Field data were collected through interviews, observations and documentation and then analyzed qualitatively. The findings are (a) cultural reservation in Banjarpanepen classified in two forms, namely traditional culture such as takiran 1 sura and bathing rituals at Kali Cawang on the full moon night and arts culture such as the lumping horse (ebeg) and Banyumasan lengger; (b) the values of religious moderation that arise in the cultural reservation process in Banjarpanepen are the high level of togetherness in the community and cooperation in religious activities; and (c) the Banjarpanepen community viewed from the cultural reservation process carried out shows an inclusive religious attitude by not excluding tradition as something that is unlawful and prohibited.

Abstract

This paper describes the development of social science (IPS) learning in social-cultural and PAIKEM-based elementary schools. Development of Elementary School Social Sciences Learning based on socio-cultural and PAIKEM-based learning as an innovative step in social studies learning at the elementary school level can minimize deficiencies in teaching students to understand social studies in elementary schools as well as to improve the quality of elementary school social studies learning processes. teachers need to be active, creative and selective in applying learning models and approaches. Based on the main problems and results and discussion as described above, several conclusions can be formulated as follows: 1) learning procedures with learning models with socio-cultural approach provide optimal flexibility for students to improvise during the course of learning so that they can create a climate and conducive learning activities; 2) The effectiveness of the socio-cultural learning model towards increasing understanding of social studies material by students, it appears that students' understanding of the material taught shows an increasing graph, and at the model testing stage, the results of evaluation tests conducted indicate that the average evaluation evaluation score students who are taught by learning models with socio-cultural approaches are higher than the average scores of students who are taught by conventional learning models; and 3) there is an increase in the socio-cultural literacy of students related to the material taught in social studies learning with a socio-cultural approach and based on PAIKEM.

Abstract

This article aims to reveal the relevance of Imam Ghazali's educational philosophy to elementary/MI social studies learning. Through a literature study using documentation techniques as a collecting technique, the findings are (1) Imam Ghazali's educational philosophy focuses on the final goal of humans, namely the afterlife with worldly media. Apart from that, the key concept that must be understood is that teachers have a heavy responsibility towards students because they are not only responsible for student learning outcomes but also for students' morals, morals and character; (2) SD/MI social studies learning has more contextual characteristics so that the learning process prioritizes direct experience gained by students; (3) the relevance of Imam Ghazali's educational philosophy to elementary/MI social studies learning can be done through the interconnection integration method without dichotomizing its epistemological aspects into the two poles of religious knowledge and general science; and (4) there are two ways to connect Imam Ghazali's educational philosophy and SD/MI social studies learning, namely making Imam Ghazali's spirit or perspective on education the content of social studies learning in elementary/MI indirectly or as a hidden curriculum and reconceptualizing elementary/MI social studies learning MI which is in accordance with Imam Ghazali's views on education.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the planning of the independent curriculum in elementary madrasas. The policy of implementing the independent curriculum in madrasas greatly determines the success of madrasas in forming a student-centered madrasa environment. Therefore, this study focuses on observing the preparation of madrasas in implementing the independent curriculum, compiling the operational curriculum of madrasas, compiling teaching modules, and compiling project modules for strengthening the profile of Pancasila students and the profile of rahmatan lil alamin students. This study was conducted qualitatively using data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation. The location of this study was MI Ma'arif NU Beji and MI Ma'arif NU Banjarparakan, with informants of the principal of the madrasa, class 1 teachers, and class 4 teachers. The results of the study showed that 1) the process of compiling the operational curriculum of madrasas is still not functional and is still interpreted as a document. KOM at MI Ma'arif NU Banjarparakan and MI Ma'arif NU Beji are still at the level of adopting the existing curriculum format; 2) the class 1 and class 4 teachers are still in the early stages of adapting existing teaching module examples; 3) the process of compiling project modules is still lacking in terms of understanding the concept of the project by teachers, resulting in minimalist project modules and some components are found to be lacking; 4) the obstacles faced by the madrasah arise due to the limited understanding of teachers so that further assistance and training are needed.

Abstract

This paper attempts to criticize the MI/SD 2013 curriculum by using critical education theories (Paulo Freire, Michael Apple and Henry Giroux). The critical study starts from the construction process to the content contained in it. The results of this study indicate that the first, the birth of the 2013 curriculum motivated by global economic conditions where high-quality and highly competitive workforce become the main demand. Negative phenomenon that emerged in the community also became the background of the birth of the curriculum 2013. The imposition of the implementation of curriculum 2013 dominant because of political factors. Second, the construction of MI/SD 2013 curriculum can be explained through four things: the compaction of subjects in the curriculum structure of MI / SD, core competencies in the curriculum of 2013 have better character strengthening when compared with competency standards in SBC, scientific approach and integrative thematic learning for MI / SD children is designed so that learning can encourage children to master scientific skills and authentic assessment is used as an effort to measure the process and learning outcomes comprehensively. The construction of MI / SD 2013 curriculum seen from the perspective of critical education results in several conclusions: first, the objective of MI / SD 2013 curriculum leads to production relation where learners are designed to be ready and able to fill the roles that have been provided in the formation of capitalist society. In addition to research-based teacher education, the maximization of religious teaching content contained in the MI curriculum can be functioned as a language of possibility. Second, the concept contained in the MI / SD 2013 curriculum that requires learners to think high level and qualified educators precisely indicates a separation between theory and practice. This condition does not apply to urban schools. Third, MI / SD 2013 curriculum is only for children who have better capital economically, socially, and intellectually. Keywords: Curriculum MI/SD 2013 and Critical Pedagogy

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis upaya-upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam rangka meningkatkan Organizational Citizenship Behavior guru melalui kajian terhadap hubungannya dengan kepemimpinan melayani dan budaya organisasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik survei. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 219 guru PNS, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 142 guru, yang penentuannya menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan toleransi kesalahan sebesar 5%. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen dalam bentuk kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deksriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga hubungan yang positif dan signifikan. Pertama, terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kepemimpinan melayani dengan Organizational Citizenship Behavior guru PNS dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,430. Kedua, terdapat hubungan yang positif antara budaya organisasi dengan Organizational Citizenship Behavior guru dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,516. Ketiga, terdapat hubungan yang positif dan antara kepemimpinan melayani dan budaya organisasi secara bersama-sama dengan Organizational Citizenship Behavior guru dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,618. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hubungan Organizational Citizenship Behavior dapat meningkatkan kepemimpinan melayani dan budaya organisasi guru SD di Kecamatan Cilongok Kabupaten Banyumas.
