Abstract

Background: Management of diabetes mellitus requires not only pharmacological treatment, but also family assistance. To prevent wounds and improve the quality of life of people with diabetes mellitus, the role of the family is very important in diabetic foot care. Purpose: To provide education about foot care as an effort to prevent diabetic wounds. Method: Using a one-group pre-post-test quasi-experimental design with foot care education intervention. The NAFF (Nottingham Assessment of Functional Footcare) questionnaire was used as an instrument to measure foot care behavior. Results: Showing that after being given foot care education, all 20 respondents behaved positively with the majority of respondents aged 50-60 years as many as 10 (50.0%) and the Wilcoxon bivariate test to see the difference in foot care behavior of respondents before and after the intervention was given a pValue = 0.000. Conclusion: Foot care education has a very good impact on the foot care behavior of diabetic patients as an effort to prevent wounds.   Keywords: Diabetic Wound Prevention Behavior; Foot Care; Wound Care Education   Pendahuluan: Penanganan diabetes melitus tidak hanya memerlukan pengobatan farmakologi, tetapi juga bantuan keluarga. Untuk mencegah luka dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup penderita diabetes melitus, peran keluarga sangat penting dalam perawatan kaki diabetik. Tujuan: Memberikan edukasi tentang perawatan kaki sebagai upaya mencegah luka diabetik. Metode: Menggunakan disain quasi eksperimen pre-post-test satu kelompok dengan intervensi pendidikan perawatan kaki. Kuesioner NAFF (Nottingham Assessment of Functional Footcare) digunakan sebagai instrumen untuk mengukur perilaku perawatan kaki. Hasil: Menunjukkan bahwa setelah diberikan edukasi perawatan kaki seluruh responden 20 orang berperilaku positif dengan mayoritas responden berusia 50-60 tahun sebanyak 10 (50.0%) dan uji bivariat wilcoxon test untuk melihat perbedaan perilaku perawatan kaki responden sebelum dan setelah diberikan intervensi mendapatkan nilai pValue = 0.000. Simpulan: Edukasi perawatan kaki memberikan dampak yang sangat baik terhadap perilaku perawatan kaki penderita diabetik sebagai upaya pencegahan luka.

Abstract

Background: Anxiety is an emotional response to an individual's perspective that is subjective and has no known cause. The global prevalence of anxiety in the world is 3.6 Psychological problems that are often experienced by students, namely fear of failure, getting bad grades and not being able to do exams, are included in their own burdens that cause levels of anxiety. Action or therapy is needed to minimize the incidence of anxiety. Non-pharmacological therapy as an alternative and solution, including hydrotherapy therapy, namely ablution techniques and also murottal Al-Qur'an. Purpose: To identify the effect of ablution and murottal Al-Qur'an on changes in students' anxiety in facing exams. Method: Pre-experimental research with one group design, pre-test and post-test design. The population in this study were all students of class XII of Al Ihya Islamic Boarding School Kalirejo Lampung Tengah in the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 110 people consisting of 3 classes. Using random sampling technique, 30 students were selected as respondents. The intervention variables in this study were ablution therapy and Al-Quran recitation, while the dependent variable was anxiety. The instrument used in this study was the Visual Analog Scale for Anxiety (VAS-A). Data were processed using statistical tests using paired T-tests. Results: The level of anxiety of respondents before ablution and murottal Al-Qur'an therapy was in the range of 12-41 and after ablution and murottal Al-Qur'an therapy was in the range of 8-28. While the average value of the level of anxiety of respondents before ablution and murottal Al-Qur'an therapy was at a score of 30.83 and after ablution and murottal Al-Qur'an therapy was at a score of 17.80. For the standard deviation value of the level of anxiety of respondents before ablution and murottal Al-Qur'an therapy was at a score of 6.41 and after ablution and murottal Al-Qur'an therapy was at a score of 5.77. Based on the normality test, the value of the level of anxiety of respondents before ablution and murottal Al-Qur'an therapy was 0.117 and after ablution and murottal Al-Qur'an therapy was 0.247. Meanwhile, based on the T-paired test between the level of anxiety of respondents before and after ablution therapy and Al-Qur'an recitation, the value was 13.03 and p-value = 0.001. Conclusion: Ablution therapy and Al-Quran recitation have a significant effect in reducing students' anxiety levels in facing exams. Providing ablution therapy and Al-Quran recitation to reduce anxiety is very effective when done in a duration of 15-30 minutes and can be done at any time to control anxiety.   Suggestion: As an alternative solution, schools or educational institutions can implement ablution therapy and listen to the recitation of the Al-Quran to control the mental state of students who experience anxiety. Keywords: Ablution therapy; Al-Quran recitation; Anxiety Pendahuluan: Kecemasan merupakan respon emosional terhadap perspektif individu yang bersifat subjektif dan tidak diketahui penyebabnya. Prevalensi global kejadian kecemasan di dunia adalah sebanyak 3.6 Masalah psikologis yang sering dialami siswa yaitu takut gagal, mendapat nilai jelek dan tidak bisa mengerjakan ujian adalah termasuk beban tersendiri yang menimbulkan tingkat rasa kecemasan. Tindakan atau terapi sangat diperlukan untuk meminimalkan kejadian kecemasan. Terapi nonfarmakologis sebagai alternatif dan solusi, diantaranya  dengan terapi hidroterapi yaitu teknik wudhu dan juga murottal Al-Qur’an. Tujuan: Untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh wudhu dan murottal Al-Qur’an terhadap perubahan kecemasan siswa/siswi dalam menghadapi ujian. Metode: Penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan rancangan one group design, pre-test dan post-test design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa/siswi kelas XII pondok pesantren Al  Ihya Kalirejo Lampung Tengah tahun ajar 2022/2023 sebanyak 110 orang yang terdiri dari  3 kelas. Dengan teknik random sampling mendapatkan sebanyak 30 siswa/siswi untuk menjadi responden. Variabel intervensi dalam penelitian ini yaitu terapi wudhu dan murottal Al-Qur’an, sedangkan variabel dependennya yaitu kecemasan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Visual Analog Scale for Anxiety (VAS-A). Data diolah dengan Uji statistik menggunakan T-test berpasangan atau paired T test. Hasil: Tingkat kecemasan responden sebelum terapi wudhu dan murottal Al-Qur’an dalam rentang skor 12-41 dan sesudah terapi wudhu dan murottal Al-Qur’an dalam rentang skor 8-28. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata tingkat kecemasan responden sebelum terapi wudhu dan murottal Al-Qur’an berada di skor 30.83 dan sesudah terapi wudhu dan murottal Al-Qur’an berada di skor 17.80.  Untuk nilai standar deviasi tingkat kecemasan responden sebelum terapi wudhu dan murottal Al-Qur’an berada di skor 6.41 dan sesudah terapi wudhu dan murottal Al-Qur’an berada di skor 5.77. Berdasarkan uji normalitas mendapatkan nilai tingkat kecemasan responden sebelum terapi wudhu dan murottal Al-Qur’an sebesar 0.117 dan sesudah terapi wudhu dan murottal Al-Qur’an sebesar 0.247.  Sedangkan berdasarkan uji T-paired test antara tingkat kecemasan responden sebelum terhadap sesudah terapi wudhu dan murottal Al-Qur’an mendapatkan nilai 13.03 dan p-value=0.001. Simpulan: Terapi wudhu dan murottal Al-Qur’an memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan dalam menurunkan tingkat kecemasan siswa/siswi dalam menghadapi ujian. Pemberian terapi wudhu dan murottal Al-Qur’an untuk menurunkan kecemasan sangat efektif di lakukan dalam durasi 15 – 30 menit dan dapat dilakukan kapanpun untuk mengendalikan rasa kecemasan. Saran: Sebagai solusi alternatif pada pihak sekolah atau lembaga pendidikan dapat menerapkan terapi wudhu dan mendengarkan murottal Al-Qur’an untuk mengendalikan mental siswa/siswi yang mengalami kecemasan

Abstract

Background: Flexibility is an important component of daily activities. Physical activity, including movements involving jumping, can stimulate the brain and increase blood flow to the brain, which in turn can support cognitive function and help slow memory decline. Active and repetitive muscle stretching for short durations, while plyometrics involve explosive movements to increase strength and agility. Physical exercises such as plyometrics can increase circulating BDNF concentrations, thereby inducing brain plasticity and cognitive enhancement. Physical exercise may support the release of neurotransmitters and neurotrophins in an activity-dependent manner. Increasing flexibility will reduce pain, and increase range of motion without causing excessive strain or injury. Purpose: Providing knowledge about maintaining flexibility of body muscle movement with a combination of plyometric exercises and active isolation stretching. Method: This activity was carried out at the Siger Physio Way Halim Bandar Lampung Clinic in January 2025. With quota sampling, 22 teenagers were selected as respondents. Participants were given instructions by instructors in doing the exercises and then carried out direct practice. Active isolated stretching actions are by holding each stretching movement for 2-3 seconds and repeated up to 8 times, then performing plyometric movements in the form of jumping in place, box jumps and high jumps. Results: Found that the majority of respondents were aged 18-22 years, namely 11 (50.0%). While the profession of the type of sport pursued was football as many as 8 (36.4%), Badminton as many as 4 (18.2%), Basketball as many as 6 (27.2%), and athletics as many as 4 (18.2%). Getting the respondent's jump distance in the pre-test with a mean value of 34.2 cm and a standard deviation of ± 5.66, while in the post-test with a mean value of 37.4 and a standard deviation of ± 4.92. Conclusion: Providing education and training in combination of active isolated stretching with plyometrics is quite effective and can improve understanding in maintaining body muscle flexibility and avoiding the risk of injury. Suggestion: It is expected to conduct further research and develop research with more specific factors to provide knowledge of the importance of carrying out muscle stretching actions as an effort to maintain flexibility and avoid the risk of injury. Aktivitas fisik, termasuk gerakan yang melibatkan melompat, dapat merangsang otak dan meningkatkan aliran darah ke otak, yang pada gilirannya dapat mendukung fungsi kognitif dan membantu memperlambat penurunan daya ingat. Peregangan otot secara aktif dan berulang dengan durasi singkat, sementara pliometrik melibatkan gerakan eksplosif untuk meningkatkan kekuatan dan kelincahan. Latihan fisik seperti plyometric dapat meningkatkan konsentrasi BDNF dalam sirkulasi, sehingga menginduksi plastisitas otak dan peningkatan kognitif. Latihan fisik mungkin mendukung pelepasan neurotransmiter dan neurotropin dengan cara yang bergantung pada aktivitas. Dengan meningkatnya fleksibilitas akan mengurangi nyeri, dan meningkatkan jangkauan gerak tanpa menyebabkan ketegangan berlebihan atau cedera. Tujuan: Memberikan pengetahuan tentang menjaga fleksibilitas gerak otot tubuh dengan latihan kombinasi pliometrik dan peregangan isolasi aktif. Metode: Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Klinik Siger Fisio Way Halim Bandar lampung pada bulan Januari 2025. Dengan quota sampling mendapatkan 22 remaja yang menjadi responden. Para peserta diberikan petunjuk dengan instruktur dalam melakukan latihan dan selanjutnya melakukan praktik langsung. Tindakan peregangan terisolasi aktif yaitu dengan menahan setiap gerakan peregangan selama 2-3 detik dan diulangi hingga 8 kali, selanjutnya melakukan gerakan pliometrik berupa lompat di tempat, lompat kotak dan lompat tinggi. Hasil: Mendapatkan bahwa usia responden sebagian besar di usia 18 – 22 tahun yaitu sebanyak 11(50.0%). Sedangkan profesi jenis olah raga yang ditekuni adalah sepak bola sebanyak 8 (36.4%), Bulutangkis sebanyak 4(18.2%), Bola basket sebanyak 6(27.2%), dan atletik sebanyak 4(18.2%). Mendapatkan jarak lompatan responden pada pre-test dengan nilai mean 34.2 cm dan standar deviasi ±5.66, sedangkan pada post-test dengan nilai mean 37.4 dan standar deviasi ±4.92. Simpulan: Pemberian edukasi dan latihan kombinasi peregangan terisolasi aktif dengan pliometrik cukup efektif dan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dalam menjaga fleksibilitas otot tubuh dan menghindari risiko cedera. Saran: Diharapkan untuk dilakukan penelitian lanjutan dan mengembangkan penelitian dengan faktor yang lebih spesifik untuk memberikan pengetahuan pentingnya melakukan tindakan peregangan otot sebagai upaya menjaga fleksibilitas dan menghindari risiko cedera.
