Abstract

Pantun is a classic work of Indonesian literature that still exists today. The didactic values contained in it are still relevant to the times, especially as a strengthening of polite character for the younger generation. As an adaptation and modernization effort, pantun learning can be done by utilizing technology. This research aims to describe (1) the value of polite character in pantun and (2) the form of digital-based pantun learning. The research was conducted descriptively-qualitatively. Data collection was done through observation, interview, and literature study. The research data is in the form of verbal information about pantun obtained from literature review, as well as observation and interview notes. The results showed that through pantun, students can communicate politely, namely when greeting, conveying motivational messages, and giving advice or suggestions among peers. Students showed high enthusiasm when participating in digital-based pantun learning. All students were able to write and display their works according to the stimulus given by the teacher.

Abstract

Pantun is one of the Indonesian speech culture that contains noble thoughts. In the speech tradition, pantun is used as a recreative and educational tool. Pantun has aesthetic values, elements of art, beauty that reflect the expression of the Indonesia people in looking at life. This research aims to analyze the aesthetic value of pantun. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative. The research data is in the form of words in the pantun array. Data collection techniques through literature study. The data analysis is done by (1) identifying elements that contribute to building the aesthetic concept; (2) identifying elements that get emphasis; and (3) concluding the harmony between aesthetic elements in forming a unity of meaning. The results of the data analysis state that pantun holds cultural aesthetics, especially evident in the use of rhyme and philosophy. The results of the data analysis state that pantun has aesthetics, which can be seen in the cover, rhyme, and harmony. Sampiran images of nature as an introduction to the philosophical thoughts contained in the body. The aesthetics of pantun are closely related to ethical elements so that beauty appears in the form as well as the holiness and nobility of the ethics it contains.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the aesthetics in Indonesian poetry of the balai pustaka period. The research method used is descriptive-qualitative. The data and data sources are the words (diction) in the poetry of Indonesian poets from the balai pustaka period, namely Mohamad Yamin, Sanusi Pane, and Rustam Effendi. The data collection technique is done through literature study. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, (1) identifying elements that contribute to building the aesthetic concept; (2) identifying elements that are emphasized; and (3) concluding the harmony between aesthetic elements in forming a unity of meaning. The results of the data analysis state that balai pustaka poetry attempts to deny the aesthetics of classical poetry, both in terms of form, content, and language. The form of poetry is more dynamic and not bound by the number of stanzas, arrays, and syllables. The substance of the content emphasizes more on colonialism, politics, socio-cultural issues, and expressions of the soul towards the environment. The language used is more expressive and explores rhetorical devices, but is still influenced by poetry and rhyme.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aplikasi Diffit dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, termasuk spesifikasi, prosedur pengoperasian, penerapan, kelebihan, dan kekurangannya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mencermati menu-menu dan deskripsi pada Diffit kemudian dituliskan pada lembar catatan yang telah disiapkan. Teknis analisis data dilakukan dengan 1) mengorganisasi dan menyiapkan data-data yang dianalisis; 2) mengamati seluruh data ; 3) menghubungkan data dengan tujuan penelitian, dan 4) menginterprestasikan dan memaknai data sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Diffit menyediakan teks bervariasi yang dapat disesuaikan dengan jenjang usia dan bahasa dari pengguna. Aplikasi dilengkapi dengan ringkasan, kosakata pilihan, tes pilihan ganda, soal terbuka, dan pertanyaan jawaban singkat sesuai dengan teks yang telah dipilih. Aplikasi juga menyediakan menu edit untuk mengubah atau menambah isi teks, soal-soal yang disajikan untuk disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan yang dapat diunduh dengan seperti pdf, dokumen, kuis google form, dan sebagainya dalam waktu yang cepat. Bahan pembelajaran pada Diffit cocok digunakan dalam pengembangan elemen menyimak dan membaca/memirsa. Untuk peneliti selanjutnya diharapkan dapat melaksanakan kajian lebih mendalam terhadap Diffit untuk menganalisis tingkat keterbacaan teks yang disediakan. Penelitian dilaksanakan untuk memberikan wawasan serta kemudahan pada guru Bahasa Indonesia untuk menemukan teks-teks yang bervariatif untuk pembelajaran dengan aplikasi Diffit.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan alternatif bagi guru, orang tua, atau pendamping dalam menyediakan sumber bacaan dalam aktivitas membaca nyaring, melalui Pustaka SIBI (Sistem Perbukuan Indonesia). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan studi literatur yang terkait dengan Pustaka SIBI. Adapun, analisis data dilaksanakan dengan reduksi data, klasifikasi data, interpretasi data, validasi data, penarikan simpulan.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan koleksi Pustaka SIBI memberikan manfaat praktis dalam aktivitas membaca nyaring bagi anak usia dini dengan menyediakan buku-buku dengan ilustrasi menarik, kalimat sederhana, serta tema yang sesuai dengan pengalaman dan dunia anak.  Buku-buku tersebut membantu melatih pelafalan, intonasi, dan pemahaman teks secara lebih baik.  Desain yang atraktif menjaga fokus dan minat baca anak selama membaca, sementara itu nilai-nilai karakter seperti kejujuran, kerja sama, dan kepedulian memperkaya pembelajaran membaca nyaring. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan Pustaka SIBI memperkuat kemampuan berbahasa, menumbuhkan minat baca, dan membentuk karakter positif sejak usia dini.
