Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine income inequality and the effect diversity of expense toward  income inequality in the period 2005-2015. The analysis method  used quantitative analysis with Williamson Index analysis and simple regression, the date got from ten districts in jamby province. The results this study showed income inequality between regions during the period has category medium inequality,the variety of region expense has effect positive significant to income inequality level. Conclusion this study was the higher level of diversity of expense will be increase income inequality between regions. The policy implication of this research was develop the economic development center that taked to the potential of each region by utilizing resources in the region so that the level of income inequality between regions is not too high.

Abstract

This research is a development of previous research which aims to test the consistency of the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and its application to encourage the entrepreneurial mindset of students in a wider scope, which includes fields not related to economics. Action Research is still used as an approach that is considered appropriate to improve work situations or learning conditions effectively and efficiently. Technical descriptive statistical analysis by comparing the average entrepreneurial mindset of students before and after the application of the BMC method was used, and involved respondents from 13 multidisciplinary fields. The BMC technique in solving cases is also described in more detail in this study. BMC can actually produce unique and mature ideas and even make a big contribution in bringing back the lost historical icon of Jambi, Roda Lambung and presenting it as a historical and tourism product of high value.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the development of the tourism sector is claimed to be one of the Strategic Pillars capable of driving the national economy. On the other hand, technological developments in the digital era have given birth to and triggered the development of e-commerce in the tourism sector with the Traveloka.com platform as the champion. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to see how the Quality of Traveloka.com's e-Commerce Services affects User (Consumer) Satisfaction by involving 98 students from Batanghari University (UNBARI) Jambi as respondents. The Combined Research Method was used with Regression analysis tools. The results show that the Quality of Traveloka.com's e-Commerce Services has a positive and significant effect on User Satisfaction. Traveloka.com's e-Commerce Management is expected to improve the performance of the main system, other support systems, and ensure its best performance runs continuously

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the development of CPO production, prices, consumption, and export volume in Indonesia. The data used in this study were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Indonesian Palm Oil Association (GAPKI), and the World Bank for the period 2003-2023. The results of data analysis using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) indicate that CPO production and price variables have a positive and significant influence on CPO export volume in both the short and long term. Meanwhile, CPO consumption only has a positive and significant effect in the short term, but does not show a significant effect in the long term.

Abstract

This research analyzes the effect of the loan to deposit ratio (LDR) and non-performing loan (NPL) on return on assets (ROA). Stock price, loan to deposit ratio (LDR), and non-performing loan (NPL) to stock price with return on assets (ROA) as the intervening variable. They are using quantitative secondary data from the annual financial report of the regional development bank listed on the Indonesia stock exchange in 2016-2020, analysing with path analysis. The results indicate that LDR has no significant effect on stock prices, NPL has no considerable effect on stock prices, LDR has no significant impact on ROA, NPL has no significant impact on ROA, and ROA has a positive and significant impact on stock prices.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of the provincial GRDP of the agricultural sector, farmer exchange rates, agricultural sector exports, and agricultural sector investment on the absorption of agricultural sector labor in Jambi Province. The analysis method used is quantitative descriptive using secondary data in 2010-2023. The analysis tools used are the contribution formula and multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the contribution of agricultural sector labor to the number of workers in Jambi Province is with an average contribution value of 50% which is classified as very good. Partially there is a positive but insignificant influence between the agricultural sector GRDP, farmer exchange rates and agricultural sector exports on the absorption of agricultural sector labor in Jambi Province, while agricultural sector investment has a negative and significant influence on the absorption of agricultural sector labor in Jambi Province during 2010-2023

Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze how much influence the APBD has on the Human Development Index (HDI) and economic growth. The data used in this research are Kerinci Regency APBD data, HDI and economic growth for the 2013-2022 period obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The method used is descriptive quantitative using a simple linear regression analysis tool. The results of this research show that the APBD has a positive and significant effect on the Human Development Index (HDI) and economic growth in Kerinci Regency during the 2013-2022 period.

Abstract

Brand image plays a significant role in influencing consumer purchasing decisions. This study aims to describe the relationship between brand image, purchasing decisions, and the STP (Segmentation, Targeting, and Positioning) marketing strategy of Toyota Agya in Jambi City. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method, with data analyzed using SPSS through a simple linear regression model. The results show that brand image has a significant positive effect on consumer purchasing decisions in Jambi City. Furthermore, based on the STP analysis, segmentation focuses on urban middle-income consumers seeking affordable, fuel-efficient, and compact vehicles. The targeting strategy emphasizes young professionals, small families, and first-time car buyers who value practicality and cost efficiency. Meanwhile, the positioning strategy presents the product as an economical city car that offers reliability, safety, and a modern design supported by a strong brand reputation. Overall, the results of the study indicate that an effective STP marketing strategy, combined with a strong brand image, significantly influences consumer purchasing decisions.
