Abstract

The Eocene-Oligocene Keruh Formation is exposed in the western part of Kuantan-Singingi area, southwest margin of the Central Sumatera Basin. It is correlated to the Pematang Group in another part of the Central Sumatra Basin and is also to the Kelesa Formation in the Tigapuluh Mountains. The formation is composed of conglomerate and well-bedded sandstone in the lower part, interbedded mudstone and coal seams in the middle part, and mainly made up of laminated to well bedded light-dark grey to blackish organic-rich mudstones in the upper part of succession. It was deposited in a fluviatiIe to a lacustrine environment with some marine condition influences.Diagenetic processes which occurred in the Keruh Formation are compaction and formation of authigenic mineral and secondary porosity. The compaction effects are illustrated by the presence of bending of mica flakes and by grains supported fabrics with long grain contact as well as clay mineral oriented. The formation of the authigenic minerals is recorded by the presence of authigenic quartz and clay minerals, and also quartz overgrowths. The secondary porosity occurrence is caused by a dissolution of the feldspar and clay minerals. The diagenetic stage of the Keruh Formation is included into a mesogeneticsemi-mature to mature "A" which equal to mudrock stage II.Based on the maturity of this Formation reflectance within dispersed organic matter (d.o.m.) and coal of the Keruh Formation, the naturity of this Formation is included into an immature to early mature stage, whereas based on the T max and Hydrogen Index (HI)  values, the kerogen With Formation is categorized Into a late immature to early mature level.There Is a relationship between diagenetic stage and maturation of organic matter which was caused by the burial history with the depth of buriaI between 2000 to 3000. m, which  produced the paIeo temperature of 65° to 95°C.Keywords: Keruh Formation, diageneses, authigenic mineral, thermal maturation

Abstract

The Seblat Formation is an oldest Tertiary sedimentary rock in Bengkulu Basin, which was made up of a clastic sedimentary rocks and were deposited in regretion condition. The lower part was deposited in an open sea shelf – fore slope and the upper part in a fore reef - lagoon shelf environment. The sandstones of formation consist of arkose, litharkose, felspathic litarenite, and litarenite. The framework of grains comprises quartz, feldspar, and rock fragments. Matrix/cement consists of clay and calcareous clay. Accesories mineral are muscovite, epidote, and glouconite. Clasts which formed the sandstone were probably derived from a magmatic arc and recycled orogen of the Pre-Tertary Gumai- Garba Zone. Diagenetic processes recognized are compaction and the formation of authigenic minerals and secondary porosities. Their diagenetic stage were included in the mesogenetic mature A, which equivalent to mudrock stage II, with the paleo temperature80º to 95ºC, and the burial thickness of 2 to 3 km. The mudstone within the Seblat Formation indicates an oil source rock, whereas the sandstone and limestoneare good for a reservoir rock. Keywords : Seblat Formation, diagenesis, compaction, authigenic mineral, mesogenetic

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture on employee motivation and discipline in the Education, Youth, and Sports Department of Karawang Regency. Organizational culture is a crucial factor that can influence employee behavior and performance in government organizations. The study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 65 employees as respondents. The research results show that organizational culture has a positive and significant influence on motivation (R² = 0.68) and employee discipline (R² = 0.72). These findings indicate the importance of strengthening organizational culture to improve motivation and discipline in the public sector.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan dan disiplin kerja terhadap motivasi kerja, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, serta bagaimana variabel-variabel tersebut memengaruhi kinerja pegawai pada Badan Kepegawaian dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BKPSDM) Kabupaten Karawang. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui survei deskriptif dan eksplanatori, penelitian ini melibatkan seluruh 64 pegawai BKPSDM dengan teknik saturated sampling. Analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis) dengan variabel intervening. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan (49,99%) dan disiplin kerja (12,11%) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi, yang selanjutnya memberikan kontribusi sebesar 4,54% terhadap kinerja. Kepemimpinan secara langsung memengaruhi kinerja sebesar 7,15%, sedangkan disiplin kerja sebesar 32,84%. Secara simultan, kepemimpinan dan disiplin kerja memengaruhi motivasi sebesar 62,10%, dan bersama-sama dengan motivasi memberikan kontribusi sebesar 57,43% terhadap kinerja. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan, disiplin kerja, dan motivasi secara kolektif memengaruhi kinerja pegawai sebesar 57% di BKPSDM Kabupaten Karawang.
