Abstract

This study aims to reveal the student metacognitive knowledge Physics Education. Study ekspolorasi made against 20 students of third semester Physical Education Studies by giving Metacognitive Knowledge Test with Harmonic Vibration Unit. The results show that turned out to be as much as 0.00% could not answer with a perfect. This result shows that the impact of learning physics for two semesters not contributed to the development of metacognitive knowledge. The further observation  found that the cause of students not able to complete the test is due to their lessons during the teaching staff is more oriented to the teacher  learning center is dominated in explaining the theories without facilitating the development of metacognitive knowledge

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of guided inquiry-based physics worksheets in training students' science process skills. This case study was conducted at SMAN 4 Sidenreng Rappang with 28 respondents. Students use worksheets based on guided inquiry for four meetings in Hooke's law material. The worksheets were developed using the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, including expert validation. We obtained the expert analysis of student worksheets based on guided inquiry from two experts, namely 3.16 out of 4 Likert scales with a validity percentage of 78.89%. These results indicate that the student worksheets based on guided inquiry are appropriate. Also, the gain test is used to determine the effectiveness of this worksheet. The science process skills test score obtained an average N-gain of 0.69, and this value is included in the medium category. This is shown based on student responses which found that 28 respondents generally gave a positive reaction to guided inquiry-based physics worksheets. This means that students receive guided inquiry-based physics worksheets as an effective learning resource used in learning.

Abstract

This research is a developer research that aims to develop student worksheets. The subjects of this research trial were 35 students of class XI MIPA 2 of State Senior High School 1 Majene. This study uses the ADDIE model development. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets for student worksheets, teacher response questionnaires and student responses, as well as physics learning outcomes test instruments. The eligibility criteria for student worksheets are seen from the validation aspect. The practicality criteria can be seen from the assessment of the teacher's and students' responses to the students' worksheets, and the effectiveness criteria can be seen from the increase in physics learning test results. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) Student worksheets developed based on expert judgment using Aiken V index analysis are declared valid and suitable for use with minor revisions; (2) Student worksheets in terms of the physics teacher's response are in the very good category; (3) Student worksheets in terms of student responses are in the very good category; (4) The application of student worksheets seen from the ability of physics learning outcomes analyzed by N-gain obtained an average value of 0.7 in the high category which means that there is an increase in the ability of physics learning outcomes so that it can be said that student worksheets which was developed is effective in improving physics learning outcomes in Majene 1 State Senior High School

Abstract

This research is a development research which aims to develop valid project based learning worksheets, practical project based learning worksheets, effective project based learning worksheets for measuring creativity. The subjects of this research trial were 32 students of class XI MIPA 2 SMAN 3 Polewali. This study uses the development of a 4-D model. The instruments used in this study were LKPD validation sheets, practitioner response questionnaires (educators/teachers), creativity test instruments and non-creativity test instruments (cognitive dimension creativity assessment sheets, affective dimension creativity questionnaires, psychomotor dimension creativity assessment sheets). LKPD eligibility criteria seen from the aspect of validity. The practicality criteria are seen from practitioners' assessment of LKPD, and the effectiveness criteria are seen from the level of creativity of students after being given project-based learning LKPD. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the developed project based learning LKPD, based on expert judgment using Aiken V index analysis, obtained a V value of 0.77 meaning that the LKPD was declared valid and feasible to use with minor revisions, then the project based learning based LKPD in terms of response physics teacher practitioners obtained an average score of 3.5 meaning that the LKPD is in the very good category and the effectiveness of project based learning LKPD is seen from the results of the analysis of student creativity, after being analyzed it is found that the average percentage of students' creativity scores on the cognitive dimension is 78.22%, the average percentage of creativity in the affective dimension is 79.25%, and the average percentage of creativity in the psychomotor dimension is 77.50% so that it can be said that the project based learning worksheets developed are effective for measuring student creativity because they have the average creativity score is above 75%.

Abstract

One aspect that is neglected in teaching physics is the procedure of solving physics problems. During this time, the teacher only trains students to solve the questions without giving an explanation of how to solve the problem. Even though every physics problem has its own procedure in solving it. One of the procedures that the author has developed in solving physics problems is through the use of "sketch drawings". The results showed that first year students who were taught with a sketch drawing strategy would find it easier to solve essay questions. This was indicated by an increase in scores in completing essay questions for the subject of linear motion kinematics.

Abstract

teaching module in improving students' analytical skills in the material of Work, Energy, and Simple Machines. The development of this module is motivated by the importance of analytical skills in physics learning and the need for teaching materials that are able to integrate scientific concepts with the context of everyday life. This study used a pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study were all 38 students of grade VIII of SMP Al Qadri Islamic School Pinrang. Data collection was carried out through an analytical skills test given before and after the use of the module. The data obtained were then analyzed using a normality test, a paired samples t-test, and an N-Gain calculation to determine the level of improvement in students' abilities after participating in learning using the developed module. The results showed that the average score of students experienced a significant increase, namely from 54.36 in the pretest to 83.33 in the posttest. The percentage of learning completeness also increased from 10.53% to 65.79% after the use of the module. Furthermore, the N-Gain calculation result of 0.63 is in the moderate category, indicating an improvement in students' analytical abilities. Thus, the science literacy-based physics teaching module has proven effective as a teaching material to improve the analytical abilities and learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at Al Qadri Islamic School Pinrang Middle School..
