Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic has influenched the educational processes, such as the change from ofline learning to online learning. These situations impact student’s etique because they still need role models in thinking, speaking, and acting. One of the alternative solutions is suhbah. According to Tijaniyah Tariqa, suhbah is a teacher-student approach that characterized by the spiritual initiation use of khirqah as the birth identity of a suluk expert. This research aims to describe the theory and the application of suhbah from the perspective of Tijaniyah Tariqa. The type of this research was library research from several works of Tijaniyah Tariqa and from other related documents. The results of the research are: (1) Theory of suhbah from Tijaniyah Tariqa's perspective is a teacher-student approach by purifying students through wirid lazimah, wirid wazifah, and wirid hailalah, which is characterized by spiritual initiation and use of khirqah to achieve ma'rifatullah, (2) Application of suhbah from Tijaniyah Tariqa perspective could be done through two approaches, namely vertical approach and horizontal approach, (3) The theory and application of suhbah in building the adab from Tijaniyah Tariqa perspective are to transform the student's bad morals into good moral character and reach the level of ma'rifah by practicing wirid lazimah, wirid wazifah, and wirid hailalah.

Abstract

The main challenge after COVID-19 is the implementation of the new normal era in education, where schools are faced with a choice of three curricula: the 2013 Curriculum, the Emergency Curriculum (simplified from the 2013 Curriculum), and the Prototype Curriculum. The research focuses on post-Covid-19 pandemic curriculum analysis at MI Nurussalam, Ngawi, and supports and inhibits factors for its implementation. This research uses qualitative research methods and a case study approach. Data collection techniques involve observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The research results show that MI Nurussalam, Ngawi chose to implement the 2013 Curriculum, considering that the curriculum had been implemented before the pandemic. Supporting factors for implementing the 2013 Curriculum during the recovery period include the role of teachers as indicators of learning implementation, the use of online learning tools, and exciting learning methods. However, the inhibiting factors involve a need for more cooperation between teachers and guardians, a lack of facilities and infrastructure to support learning, and student motivation at the madrasah and at home.

Abstract

Education is currently faced with problems of crime and deviant behavior, which hinder the effectiveness of teaching Islamic teachings. Effective educational management and experienced leaders are required. One solution is to implement an integrated curriculum as proposed by KH. Abdullah Syukri Zarkasyi in reforming Islamic boarding school education. This research aims to understand the concept of Islamic boarding school education and its renewal according to KH. Abdullah Syukri Zarkasyi. This type of research is qualitative, using the literature review method by obtaining data through journals, books, and documentaries and comparing, contrasting, and critiquing data using thematic analysis techniques. The research results show that according to K.H Abdullah Syukri Zarkasyi, good Islamic boarding school education is based on the values of the five souls of Islamic boarding schools and is total. The reform of Islamic boarding school education that he proposed was rooted in the concept of the five souls of Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. K.H. Abdullah Syukri Zarkasyi emphasized three fundamental things in this reform: the totality of life in education, integral education, and Islamic boarding school education orientation.

Abstract

Nowadays, Muslims need a concept of monotheism that is not only academic but also increases faith. Nursi divided the idea of monotheism into two dimensions: birth monotheism and true monotheism. These concepts focused on growing faith related to current life. Both interpretations of exoteric and esoteric monotheism verses were critical to understand. The research explored Nursi's esoteric approach to monotheistic verses and their influence on Islamic theology. The qualitative research design employed the literature review method by obtaining data from journals, proceedings, books, and documentaries. Then, data were analyzed using content analysis techniques and esoteric and historical approaches. The research results indicated that Nursi's esoteric interpretation of monotheistic verses aligned with other sufi mufassirs but had two significant differences. First, Nursi's esoteric approach, especially in tafakkur, provided concrete examples that could be felt physically. Second, as a member of the Naqshbandi Tariqa, Nursi consistently referred to asmā' al-ḥusnā and associated it with manifestations reflected in all entities when interpreting the Qur'an. Nursi's interpretation of monotheistic verses in Islamic theological thought became more dominant at the international level. Meanwhile, at the national level, the influence was more socio-religious. Nevertheless, Nursi's interpretation remains essential in addressing religious realities in Indonesia.

Abstract

Nūr Muḥammad is one of the teachings in Sufism that studies the beginning of the creation of the universe. The Sufis discussed Nūr Muḥammad through God's tajallī (manifestation), and they believed that only Insan Kamil (Perfect Humans) possessed the perfection of His tajallī. This Sufi theory can be comprehended through the dhawqi approach. This research will deal with Nūr Muḥammad's theory of Sufism through the perspective of Tijaniyah Tarekat. The data for this study was obtained through library research utilizing a documentary technique. The collected data will be analyzed using the descriptive analysis method. This study finds that the Tijaniyah Tarekat is a Sufism institution that bases its teachings and practices on the concept of Nūr Muḥammad in the form of ṣalawāt al-fātiḥ and ṣalawāt jawharah al-kamāl. This Tarekat's elucidation of Nūr Muḥammad is also built on and consistent with the explication of authoritative Sufis in Islam's intellectual and spiritual tradition.

Abstract

Duha prayer is one of the routine activities carried out students by MTs Lailatul Qadar Sukoharjo before learning begins. This activity includes murojaah, memorization, asmaul husna, khatmil Quran, and tausiyah. One of the main objectives of this program is to form morals. However, on the other hand, many students still need to arrive on time to attend the Dhuha prayer. This research is intended to explain how dhuha prayer instills morals at MTs Lailatul Qadar. This research is descriptive qualitative with a case study type of research. The presence of researchers as a critical instrument. The research location is at MTs Lailatul Qadar. Data sources include person, place, and paper. Data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The data analysis in this research was carried out inductively. Meanwhile, reduction, presentation, and conclusion techniques were used to check the data's validity. The research results show that Duha prayer is a solution to instilling good morals students in MTs Lailatul Qadar, including students' morals towards Allah SWT, fellow creatures, and students' human morals in the school environment. This process starts with murojaah, memorization, asmaul husna, khatmil Quran, and tausiyah delivered by ustadz and ustadzah. However, in practice, there are supporting and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors involve time conditions that support the smooth implementation of prayers while inhibiting factors consist of internal factors involving aspects within the student and external factors (environment) such as the influence of friends, lack of enthusiasm from parents, and long distance from home.
