Abstract

In this era, Internet for education is one of the basic need; for students, teachers, lecturers, and staff. The increasing of internet needs cause the increasing of data traffic than before. In this research, traffic volumes of the Internet is analyzed using the ADPH (Average Daily Peak Hour) technique. ADPH is one of teletraffic techniques to calculate traffic volumes based on its busy hours. Previously, this technique is used in telephony systems. In this research, ADPH is tried to be used for calculating data traffic volumes.

Abstract

Today's wireless communication system is a trend for the information society. This is inseparable from communication needs with high mobility and low costs. One of them is the Wireless Local Area network with the IEEE 802.11 standard. Wireless LAN is a communication technology that uses radio wave transmission media by utilizing free space as a transmission line. The transmitted signal is strongly influenced by distance, frequency, transmitter power, receiver sensitivity, and antenna gain. A loss occurs in the process of transmitting data from the sender to the recipien. In order to no loss that occurs, it requires a good performance, and a wide coverage area. The purpose of this study is to analyze the QoS data, calculate the coverage area, receiver power, and compare the results of theoretical calculations with the measurement results. The analysis results show the average throughput for each data rate of 6 Mbps, 15 Mbps and 35 Mbps at 383.8 kbps, 328.2 kbps and 329.8 kbps. The average delay is 5.28 ms, 4.81 ms and 4.66 ms. The average packet loss is 2.83% ms, 2.66% ms and 2.16% ms. The average jitter is 0.036 ms, 0.032 ms and 0.014 ms.

Abstract

Voice is one of  way to communicate and express yourself. Speaker recognition is a process carried out by a device to recognize the speaker through the voice. This study designed a speaker recognition system that was able to identify speakers based on what was said by using dynamic time warping (DTW) method based in matlab. To design a speaker recognition system begins with the process of reference data and test data. Both processes have the same process, which starts with sound recording, preprocessing, and feature extraction. In this system, the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) method is used to extract the features. The results of the feature extraction process from the two data will be compared using the DTW method. Calculations using DTW that produce the smallest value will be determined as the output. The test results show that the system can identify the voice with the best level of recognition accuracy of 90%, and the average recognition accuracy of 80%. The results were obtained from 50 tests, carried out by 5 people consisting of 3 men and 2 women, each speaker said a predetermined word

Abstract

Communication is the process of delivering information from a node to other nodes. In general, communication in the form of voice and data must be understood by both nodes. Flight data communication is used for pilots to collect information from the devices used. In this research, ARINC 429 data communication system is simulated using visual basic 2010 express. By using a GUI, the input data is obtained from the flight radarpro24 application. The data are representation of altitude and airspeed of Lion Air commercial flight JT922. The 32 bits of binary data are converted into decimal format. It was concluded that the altitude and airspeed data can be read and analyzed using this format.

Abstract

Peningkatan penggunaan internet memberi dampak pada laju trafik internet. Untuk memperoleh trafik yang baik, dibutuhkan kapasitas sistem yang memadai, beban trafik yang wajar, dan kualitas layanan yang baik. Penelitian ini mengamati trafik data di instansi pendidikan, yakni STTA Yogyakarta, menganalisis data tersebut, dan menghitung nilai kualitas layanannya yang dinyatakan dalam bentuk throughput dan loss. Model sistem yang digunakan untuk melakukan analisis adalah model teletrafik sistem berbagi. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa model sistem, langkah analisis, serta nilai throughput dan loss. Nilai throughput dan loss dari penelitian ini, berturut – turut, adalah 93.200.000 bit per detik dan 0,068 persen.

Abstract

In this era of information technology, there is a lot of simulation software that can be used to make it easier for users to understand and find solutions to various problems. One of these simulation software is a software that is open source or open for anyone to use and develop. for example Scilab. SMK Penerbangan AAG is a vocational high school that focuses on aviation area. One of its missions is to implement the international standard education. To realizing, it requires support from many parties. International standard education will be very good if it is accompanied by the use of Information Technology and Computers in solving engineering problems. For this reason, this Community Service takes the theme of simulation software training. In this case, Scilab software was chosen to support the use of information technology for engineering problems.

Abstract

Internet needs in education has become a basic requirement, whether it is for faculty, students, complementary components of universities such as bureaus, public relations, TU, and non-academic staff. As the number of Internet users continues to increase, especially in educational institutions, including STTA’s, an observation of the STTA Internet network data stream is conducted. A parameter to be observed is user's load, as it affects the quality of services that will be generated by the STTA Internet Network.This research provides an analysis to measure the size of user load as well as to know the amount of loss so that it can be a reference in subsequent research to reduce the amount of loss in order to fit in the good category traffic. Model sharing system is used to describe traffic data both elastic and stream at flow level.Observation results show that the average arrival rate of STTA is 11 kbps with average service rate of 59 kbps. This research uses the measured throughput of 86 Mbps. Throughput is calculated from the total number of bits of a successful packet arrivals per second via a network system. With the Internet link capacity of 100 Mbps STTA, after the analysis by the method of sharing system, it is seen that the traffic flow loss is 16%. From this traffic flow loss value, it can be concluded that the STTA’s Internet is include in medium category.

Abstract

Animations are one of multimedia technology which can accelerate the perspective about something, including the aircraft flight controls and landing gears function. Production process of animation on 3 Dimensional Aircraft model Supri Sukhoi Superjet 100 using NURBS Modelling method.  Production process of animation on 3 Dimensional Aircraft model Supri Sukhoi Superjet 100 using Pre Production, Production and Post Production, that the result can be presented in the form of simulation video, Flash game, and Powerpoint game. The special effect that added into model, video and game make it more attractive. The Results are tested on number of respondents who are Experts in the Aircraft Engineering. The Data showed that Almost to 100 percent of the components and fuctions of the aircraft.

Abstract

Obyek wisata paralayang menawarkan keindahan pemandangan dari atas bukit. Wisata paralayang ini masih sangat jarang di Indonesia. Selain karena termasuk olahraga ekstrem dan memerlukan lokasi yang khusus, kemampuan sumber daya manusia dalam mendampingi wisatawan membutuhkan keahlian tertentu. Bukit Giri Sembung, Kelurahan Banjarasri, Kulon Progo, D.I. Yogyakarta merupakan salah satu obyek wisata paralayang yang baru ditemukan potensinya dan perlu dikembangkan. Pengembangan potensi wisata ini membutuhkan pendampingan dalam aspek manajemen, pemasaran dan pelayanan wisata. Melalui program kemitraan masyarakat, ditawarkan satu solusi berupa pendampingan pelayanan wisata dalam bentuk pelatihan public speaking. Pelatihan ini menjadi bagian dalam rangka memberikan pelayanan prima kepada wisatawan, khususnya wisatawan mancanegara. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam empat proses, yakni analisis kebutuhan, perencanaan pelatihan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, dan evaluasi pelatihan. Dari analisis kebutuhan diperoleh informasi bahwa kemampuan public speaking para pelaku wisata dalam menggunakan Bahasa Inggris masih kurang dan memerlukan pelatihan. Oleh karenanya, pelatihan public speaking ini diberikan dalam Bahasa Inggris dengan target para pelaku wisata supaya dapat menyapa, bercerita, memberikan jawaban, serta menanggapi keluhan dari wisatawan mancanegara. Pelaksanaan pelatihan ini, secara umum, dapat disimpulkan berjalan dengan baik, yang dibuktikan dari umpan balik yang baik dari peserta
