Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model on class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa. This type of research is experimental research with the pre-experimental method, the design of this study is the one pretest posttest group, namely a type of research that only involves 1 class as a experimental class carried out without a comparison group. The sample in this study was class VIII students totaling 28 students. Based on the results of research and data analysis regarding this statistical comparison, comparisons with categories of learning outcomes and comparisons of completeness levels prove an increase in student learning outcomes in class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa can be seen from student learning outcomes through descriptive statistical analysis before using the Problem Based Learning learning model on average the average student score is still below the KKM, which is 54.6 and after using the Problem Based Learning learning model, the average student score increases above the KKM 76.3. It is known that the Posttest value is 76.3 more than the Prest value which is 54.6. Furthermore, based on the results of inferential statistical analysis using the t-test formula, it is known that the tcount obtained is 3.367 with a frequency df = 28-1 = 27, at a significant level of 0.05 or 5%, the ttable is 1.701. So tcount> ttable or HO is assessed and H1 is accepted. Based on these results it can be concluded that there is a significant increase in student learning outcomes. This means that the use of the Problem Based Learning learning model has an effect on the ability to write exposition texts in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' ability to write anecdotal texts using the Problem Based Learning model in class X IPA 1 MA Manongkoki Kab. Takalar. This type of research is class action research (Class Action Research) and consists of two cycles, with two cycles carried out in two sessions. Research methods include planning, implementation, action, observation and reflection. The research was conducted at MA Manongkoki, Kab. Takalar. The target of this study were 23 students of class X IPA 1 MA Manongkoki District. Studies show that the average increases from 67.47% in the first period to 84.43% in the second period. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model increases in learning to write anecdotal texts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media aplikasi webtoon terhadap keterampilan membaca siswa kelas IV SDN No.138 Inpres Mangulabbe Kecamatan Mappakasunggu Kabupaten Takalar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan one-grop pre-test and post-test design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN No. 138 Inpres Mangulabbe Kecamatan Mappakasunggu Kabupaten Takalar. Teknik sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu sampel dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh (penuh) atau sampling total. Jadi pada penelitian ini akan menggunakan seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN No. 138 Inpres Mangulabbe Kecamatan Mappakasunggu Kabupaten Takalar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Data pada penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh media aplikasi webtoon terhadap keterampilan membaca siswa kelas IV SDN No. 138 Inpres Mangulabbe. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai rata-rata pada pre-test yang hanya memperoleh 46,93 dan pada post-test memperoleh sebesar 80,60. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis independent sampel t-test, nilai Sig. (2-tailed) equel variance assumed memperoleh 0,000 yang menunjukkan bahwa 0,000 < 0,05 atau dengan kata lain H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh media aplikasi webtoon terhadap keterampilan membaca siswa kelas IV SDN No. 138 Inpres Mangulabbe Kecamatan Mappakasunggu Kabupaten Takalar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' learning outcomes in the Indonesian language subject through the application of the Student Facilitator and Explaining model on the One Point material. The factors underlying this study were learning problems experienced by students such as low Indonesian language learning outcomes below the KKTP standard. The research approach used was classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles where each cycle was carried out in 2 meetings. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes as seen from the tests obtained from cycle I and cycle II. The results of the cycle I evaluation test with a percentage of learning outcomes of 50% and increased in cycle II with a percentage of learning outcomes of 88%. Based on the results of the evaluation of cycles I and II and the reflections that have been carried out, it can be concluded that by implementing the student facilitator and explaining learning model in the Indonesian language subject of class IV A SD Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3 Makassar, it can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the critical reading skills of fifth-grade students at the UPTD of SD Negeri 48 Barru through the application of the Deliberate Practice method. The study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The subjects were 18 fifth-grade students. The instruments used were a critical reading skills test, observation sheets, and documentation. The results showed a significant increase in students' critical reading skills after the implementation of the Deliberate Practice method. In the first cycle, the improvement did not reach the success indicator, but in the second cycle, students' critical reading skills reached the set target. Thus, the Deliberate Practice method is an effective learning strategy to improve elementary school students' critical reading skills.
