Abstract

Literasi baca tulis menjadi hal yang sangat diperlukan khususnya bagi mahasiswa PGSD. Mahasiswa PGSD yang ingin menjadi guru akan menghadapi sekulitan dalam proses belajar mengajar jika tidak mahir membaca dan menulis. Tujuan artikel ini adalah mendeskripsikan implementasi ilmu pengetahuan khususnya dibidang baca tulis bagi mahasiswa PGSD FKIP Universitas Cenderawasih. Metode pengabdian yakni survey lapangan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi adalah tiga langkah dalam proses yang digunakan. Hasil observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa beberapa mahasiswa masih tidak memahami literasi baca tulis. Melalui kegiatan yang menyenangkan, mahasiswa akan menumbuhkan kecintaan mereka terhadap membaca dan menulis dan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi. Hasil pengabdian ini menghasilkan respons yang positif dan antusias dari mahasiswa PGSD yang berarti literasi baca tulis akan meningkat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini tujuannya untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Power Point terhadap    peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belaja siswa pada materi Tema 4 Hidup Bersih dan Sehat kelas   II  SDN Inpres VIM II Kotaraja, Provinsi Papua. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi dengan proses penelitian (1) Pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran Power Point, (2) merencanakan tindakan pada siklus II berdasarkan hasil refleksi siklus I. Indikator penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Subjek yang diteliti yaitu peserta didik pada kelas II SDN Inpres VIM II Kotaraja yang siswanya berjumlah 22 siswa. Hasil dari  penelitian yang diperoleh di siklus I motivasi siswa masih kurang karena guru jarang memberikan pujian dan reward terhadap siswa, hasil belajar siswa yang diketahui pada pelaksanaan tes evaluasi yang mempunyai nilai tetinggi 90 sebanyak 2 siswa dan sebanyak 5 siswa memiliki nilai rendah yaitu 50. Siswa yang belum tuntas pada siklus I ini sebanyak 10 siswa. Pada siklus II motivasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan karena guru selalu memberikan pujian terhadap siswa dan guru juga memberikan hadiah kepada siswa. Pada siklus II hasil belajar sudah berhasil atau tuntas karena mendapatkan nilai yang telah memenuhi standar indikator yang sudah ditetapkan dalam ketuntasan belajar klasikal minimal  75%.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Media Power Point, Motivasi

Abstract

Interactive learning media has great potential in improving the quality of education in Indonesia, especially in elementary schools. This article discusses the results of PKM research which aims to provide assistance in the use of interactive learning media at SD Negeri Inpres Koya Tengah, Muara Tami District, Jayapura City. This research aims to improve the effectiveness of learning at the school. The method of implementing activities consists of a preparation stage, an implementation stage. The results of the activity show that the assistance and use of interactive learning media at SD Negeri Inpres Koya Tengah has had a positive impact on the learning process.

Abstract

In preparing the Learning Implementation Plan, it is necessary to pay attention to indicators such as the application of learning models based on material needs so that the implementation of learning is more active, innovative and focused. One of the innovative and creative learning models to be applied in the learning process is Problem Basic Learning (PBL). The Problem Basic Learning (PBL) learning model invites students to solve problems independently. This service aims to equip and provide experience to teachers at SD Negeri Inpres Koya Tengah, Muara Tami Jayapura District in preparing learning implementation plans by implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with Hots-based learning implementation and improving the quality of learning in the school. This service activity was carried out in the form of training for teachers at the school which was attended by 12 teachers. The training method used is mentoring in the form of lectures, questions and answers and discussions. This activity includes: 1) preparation in planning the implementation of training conceptually, operationally and job descriptions, 2) implementation of the presentation of RPP material on the Problem Based Learning model and how to prepare a Hots-based Learning Implementation Plan. 3) Evaluation and discussion include the practice of making lesson plans by participants, collecting practical assignments, assessing the results of the training participants' work, and reflecting on the training material. The output of this service activity is achieving the objectives of this training and creating articles that will be published in community service journals.

Abstract

This research analyzes the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology to strengthen digital literacy in natural science education and its effect on student motivation at SD Inpres Skow Sae. The research method used was Concurrent Mixed Methods, involving 32 fifth-grade students. Quantitative data were collected through a learning motivation questionnaire, and qualitative data were gathered through observation and interviews. The results showed that the use of AR had a significant and positive impact on student motivation. The average motivation score reached 87.5 out of an ideal score of 100, with 68.75% of students in the "very high" category and 31.25% in the "high" category. The statistical hypothesis test, which showed a significance value of 0.037 (< 0.05), clearly proves that this increase in motivation was not coincidental. Qualitatively, interviews confirmed these findings, with students expressing that AR made difficult subjects easier to understand and more interactive, changing their perception of science to be more positive and enjoyable. Data triangulation revealed a strong convergence between the questionnaire and interview results, confirming that the increase in motivation was reflected not only in the scores but also in changes in learning behavior that were more active, independent, and enthusiastic. Thus, this study concludes that AR is a proven transformative solution for overcoming educational challenges in remote areas, effectively boosting motivation while simultaneously fostering behaviors aligned with the digital era.

Abstract

Abstrak Penguatan kompetensi digital guru merupakan kebutuhan mendesak di era transformasi digital pendidikan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru SD INPRES PIR 2 ARSO, Papua, dalam membuat video pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan aplikasi Kinemaster. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama 2 hari dengan melibatkan 14 guru sebagai peserta. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah interaktif, demonstrasi langsung, praktik mandiri, diskusi kelompok, dan tanya jawab. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman teknologi digital, dari 30% menjadi 85%. Sebanyak 12 dari 14 guru berhasil menyelesaikan video pembelajaran berkualitas baik, dengan 80% video memenuhi standar kualitas yang diharapkan. Kendala utama yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan perangkat dan koneksi internet. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi digital guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mendukung proses belajar-mengajar, membuka peluang untuk pengembangan program pelatihan lanjutan di masa mendatang Kata kunci: aplikasi kinemaster; kompetensi guru; literasi digital; video pembelajaran. Abstract Strengthening teachers' digital competence is an urgent need in the era of digital transformation in education. This community service activity aimed to enhance the skills of teachers at SD INPRES PIR 2 ARSO, Papua, in creating interactive educational videos using the Kinemaster application. The training was conducted over 2 days, involving 14 teachers as participants. The methods used included interactive lectures, direct demonstrations, independent practice, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions. The training results showed a significant improvement in digital technology understanding, from 30% to 85%. Twelve out of 14 teachers completed high-quality educational videos, with 80% of the videos meeting the expected quality successfully standards. The main challenges faced included device limitations and internet connectivity issues. This activity successfully improved teachers' digital competence in utilizing technology to support the teaching-learning process, opening opportunities for the development of advanced training programs in the future. Keywords: digital literacy; educational video; kinemaster application; teacher competence.
