Abstract

Abstract: The aim of the research to the development of model behaviour modification in improvement of children’s social skills. Research and development of Social Skills Model through Behaviour Modification Technique are based on three concept theory: Albert Bandura’s Social Cognitive Theory, Martin and Pear’s Behavior Modification and Cartlege’s the concept of Social Skills. Learning is classified into three domains namely cognitive, affective and psychomotor, in accordance with Bloom’s Taxonomy. The improvement of social skill reflected from non-adaptive behavior. This behavior can be carefully observed by classroom teacher. Based on data from instrument, interviews and observations, categorization of behaviors and its measurement can be carried out through the data pre and post test. The development of social skills are encouraged by behavior modification techniques such as modeling, reinforcement, punishment, prompt, relaxation, shaping. Research suggests that cognition and learning contract that involves process of thinking through discussion among students in the classroom are needed. Abstract

Jilboobs is a term used to describe women who wear headscarves but show body curves, or in other words Jilboobs is a tight female hijab style. This study aims to look at the student perspectives of those who memorize the Qur'an towards Jilboobs as a new trend. Qualitative method with purposive sampling technique. This study used 6 subjects with certain criteria, namely Islamic students, memorizing the Qur'an, and participating in Islamic studies. Based on the results of the study, it showed that Jilboobs was not in accordance with the proper Islamic studies. For all subjects, even though Jilboobs are considered a new trend, it does not make Islamic students who memorize the Qur'an follow trends because for them the benefits or purpose of wearing the hijab is to cover the genitals (the whole body). For the six subjects, not following the Jilboobs trend did not make him feel out of date, as a memorizer of the Qur'an, it was appropriate to have the morality of the Qur'an by implementing Islamic law and avoiding harm in Islam so that it was an obligation to wear the hijab according to Islamic law

Abstract

Student behaviour, in general, is still a problem. Many students still need to be responsible for school assignments and do not do homework or other assignments. Concern for the environment is still very low. Like they were throwing trash in its place. Therefore, the ability of the teacher to intervene in modifying student behaviour is essential. This research was carried out to provide Behavior Modification Models for improving children's social skills. It was divided into four parts: (1) a preliminary study, (2) a workshop on behaviour modification, (3) a field test on the behaviour modification models and (4) improvement to the models following the test results. The participants consisted of 225 Islamic elementary school students in Indonesia. The data were examined by SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). The students' skills were developed using behaviour modification techniques, namely modelling, reinforcement, token economy, punishment, prompt, relaxation and shaping. The result suggested the importance of cognitive process (awareness) and learning contracts through class discussion for improving children's social skills. An interesting finding is that there is a significant increase in the application of behaviour modification techniques when students are involved in thinking and being involved in determining activities or actions that disturb the class and the consequences that will be given if students commit several violations in class through contract learning or agreement techniques, modelling, reinforcement, token economy, punishment, time out, relaxation and awareness of cognition.

Abstract

In facing various problems during the online learning process, individuals need to have self-regulated learning to be able to undergo online lectures optimally and effectively. Hence, student’s knowledge increases, and learning objectives are achieved. This study aims to investigate the mediating effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between perception feedback on self-regulated learning in undergraduate students. Whether the mediation had varying effects on different age levels and sex differences was also examined. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling with 410 students. This study uses a quantitative approach with path analysis. In this study, researchers used confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) using Lisrel 8.8 to test the instrument's construct validity. The results showed a direct effect from the independent variables, namely self-efficacy, family support, and an indirect effect through mediator variables, namely self-efficacy, family support, friend support, and gender. The effect of self-efficacy and family support is partial mediation on self-regulated learning. In contrast, peer support and gender demographic variables have a perfect mediating effect on self-regulated learning with perception feedback as a mediator.
